I had a fantastic stay at Maya hotel. The location is perfect (50 metres from Metro station & 5 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal western gate). A big thanks to Rajesh Gupta, Preeti, Sunil and their incredible housekeeping team with their great attention to details. You can always reach Rajesh Gupta (owner) for all your travel needs. Very helpful to his Guests. The restaurant team was so friendly, greeting us warmly every time. I felt truly welcomed and can’t wait to come back! The food was delicious especially the Dal. The rooms are tastefully done and spotlessly clean. Also want to mention that they own Chia cafe (400 metres from Maya) with an unparalleled view of the Taj from the roof top. We had an excellent breakfast there.

The property was a stones throw from the west gate of the Taj Mahal. The rooms were reasonably sized and clean. The manager was very accommodating and upgraded my room due to the issue with the air-conditioning unit and checked on our party a few times. The food is quite nice. There is air-conditioning in the downstairs restaurant and a pretty terrace upstairs.Free WiFi available.English speaking staff.

The service staff on the terrace ignored our presence entirely at more than once and attended to setting up empty tables rather than the paying guests sitting waiting to be served. Breakfast was not ready at nearly 9 even though it states from 7.30am. not all the food we ordered arrived and some items we didn't were on the final bill, however the manager took them off without a quibble. Power cuts affect WiFi and lights but there isn't much they can do about that.

Good location close to TajMahal. Basic accommodation with basic stuff but what I can say was highlight - the restaurant. I have stayed just one night and have had dinner here. Absolutely amazing food and super friendly stuff. As I was leaving really early in the morning I asked if I can have an expresso made night before to my travel mug so I can just add hot water in the morning and no problem at all.

This is the best place to stay in Agra. The staff is very friendly, helpful, understanding and accommodating. The food is great and the portions are big. The hotel is in a great location for all of the attractions that Agra has to offer. I very, very highly recommend Maya hotel and restaurant. A special thanks to Mr. Raju, Mr. Khan and the rest of the owners for all of their help.

The monkeys are a problem so keep your doors and windows closed because they will come in if they can! Otherwise I have no complaints!

It was amazing the cleaning. Compared to all other hotels I stayed in India, including the one dirty I'm in Dehli right now, it is completely amazing Maya Hotel. They even sanitize the bathroom. Also, the workers are welcoming.

The noise. It is in front of a big road so the honks go on and on. But when closing the window, and during the night time, you get silence.

I especially loved about the staff and the hospitality. They are very friendly. I would personally recommend Japanese people to stay here as well. It’s introduced in the famous Japanese guide book, and so did I. It’s safe here and people here are supportive. They helped me a lot. That made my stays in Agra awesome and unforgettable memories. In the internet sometimes says that you should not trust people. But here was different. I felt that they are so fine and kindly helped me. And it’s close to Taj Mahal.

Nothing. But when at night, there were dogs barking loudly and bit surprised me haha. But I guess it’s normal in india.

I only stayed one night but it was everything I needed. Great location (10 minute walk from the Taj), nice restaurant, clean room, big bed, fast wifi and hot water in the shower. The staff are extremely friendly and Raj the owner went out of his way several times to make it a more personal experience.

The restaurant was a bit on the pricey side but it's a touristy area so can't really complain, the food was great anyway.

Location very convenient, just 4 minutes walk to the west gate of Taj Mahal. Rooms are tiny but clean, and toilet is too. There’s a convenient good restaurant downstairs where it’s possible to have breakfast and meals. It’s definitely a good value for money.

Checkout at 10am it’s a bit too early, but no other big issues.

Good sized room. Nice bathroom and great shower. Good onsite restaurant with lovely staff. Owner is always on hand and willing to help with anything you need. Location is right around the corner from the west gate into the Taj Mahal and just up the street from the Metro station which takes you to Agra Fort for 10 rupees!

Noisy air con but not too much of a problem as has a good fan also.

Good location near the Taj Mahal metro station and the Taj Mahal West ticket gate. The restaurant had a good selection of food and when I was feeling unwell, one of the restaurant staff was very helpful with advice and how best to navigate it, which was super helpful.

A little dated and the air con was loud but I'd stay again so it wasn't that much of a concern.
