The staff were very good. They put the medications in the fridge for us. The room is big with good facilities. Room service staff are very good and responsive. We were given toilet paper without having to ask. Extra pillows and towels upon request. Bed sheets fairly clean. One green marker stain on bottom sheet. In regards to Indian hotels that we stayed at this one stands out. Very reasonable price. Great AC. Water pressure ok. Responsive staff. We called housekeeping and ordered extra water delivered to the room. Has a lift. Uma Mess restaurant onsite. Very good. Try the prawns 65.

A little smell in bathroom. Most Indian hotels seem to have an open sewer.

The rooms are excellently appointed and pleasantly decorated. Cleanliness of the rooms as well as the passageways, lobby etc. was also very good. There is ample car-parking. There are also nice restaurants in a 1-km radius. Most of the tourist attractions are at a convenient distance, by car.

Treebo kept on requesting for advance payment through sms, e-mail, WhatsApp etc. which was very annoying. I have never experienced this with any hotel booked with Booking.com, so far. The reception staff lacked smartness and looked morose and unsmiling. They can definitely do with some soft-skills training on Customer Management.

Excellent staff, modern clean rooms that were similar in standard to hotels in Europe. Comfy bed and nice to have shower gel etc in dispensers on the wall rather than the single use things. Underground parking for bicycles was a bonus for us on our tandem. They even brought us a fridge up to our room when we asked if they had somewhere to keep our drinks cooled.

The restaurant didn't offer full menu until after 7pm, which seems normal here. The food we had was good from the restricted menu, but the service wasn't particularly good, not telling us that one of the dishes we had ordered wasn't available until after 7pm until they actually brought the other food.

Not bad. An average hotel.

The room doors close with a huge bang, so while the guests are walking around (and the members of large Indian families not only walk around at night, but also shout to each other from the rooms) the corridors are very loud, there is no chance to rest. The ventillation system and the AC are also very noisy. The walls, the bed linen and the towels were not spotless.

Though the hotel is pretty new, the bed sheet and towels in our room were slightly stained. Not dirty, but stained. Could easily be corrected. Location needs to be more accurate. Inquiries to hotel should be directed to a person who can answer the phone on the number that is provided and tackled through IVR. I needed an exact location of the hotel as the map sent me on a roundabout. But I kept being directed to an IVR or WA

The room that I stayed in was very very large. Just loved it! I would want to stay in this hotel and that room every time I go back to Thanjavur. The hospitality was great - be it with accommodating dietary restrictions at breakfast, providing recommendations of what to do in the city, or booking an auto for us whenever we had to step out.

the staff was very helpful and kind. in the search for food on the menu that was not too spicy, in giving information about the environment, in arranging a taxi for the next destination,... the room was spacious and clean & i wanted to book this Treebo again while in Madurai, but then we were fooled by another hotel carrying the name Treebo ( dont make my mistake!)

i could only exchange money the first day, not two days later. but for foreigners traveling Tamil Nadu: change enough if you find a good spot in the beginning, because the options for exchange at a good rate are not plenty...

The staff was friendly, polite and really prompt. The food services were nice. The breakfast was freshly prepared and nicely arranged. The locations is roughly 5 kms from Thanjavur junction.. well connected. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent. The food from Uma Mess is fabulous. They have a great chef (Vincent) who serves delicious food. Staff are very polite, friendly and customer service friendly.

The shower cleanliness has not been maintained. Although a new hotel it was obvious that the dirt is building up from lack of regular thorough cleaning. Also there is a lead housekeeping guy who is a bit too chatty and asking / expecting tips / gifts. Was quite annoying especially when I just wanted to rest.

Very pleasant experience, especially for a place such as Thanjavur that we hadn't heard much about. The accommodation and facilities were very comfortable and convenient. The breakfast and food in general at the venue were of good quality and the staff were quite friendly and accommodative too.

Only 1 minor issue - the health faucets in both bathrooms could've done with some repair work.
