Lovely breakfast! The scrambled eggs and the yogurt and museli were our favourite. The pool is amazing and so relaxing. The beautiful gardens set a lovely tropical feel on the way to and from your room. The staff were exceptional, so polite and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We only stayed two nights and they had our laundry express washed for us within this time as well as organised a massage for us. Very clean and well maintained property

Room is a little dark. The location will be excellent as Pererenan becomes more built up but it is a little walk away from restaurants and day spas. There are enough restaurant options to choose from within the street but will be better in the months to come as a fair amount of construction is underway but will be commenced shortly. The beach at the end of the street isn’t the best but you can walk in either direction for 10-15 mins to find better swimming spots

I thoroughly enjoyed my 12-day stay at Kayu Village Pererenan! The bungalow was very beautiful, new, and wonderfully cozy. The bed linen and towels were changed regularly, and I felt extremely comfortable throughout my stay. The entire property is a hidden, peaceful gem, yet it's very close to the great restaurants in Pererenan, and just a few minutes' walk to the beach where you can enjoy the stunning sunset at a local warung with a fresh coconut. I would definitely book again. The value for money was excellent, and the included breakfast was delicious. Many thanks to the whole super-friendly team – see you again soon!

We stayed here 3 nights after landing in Denpasar. The location is ideal as you are a bit away from Canggu and its business but there are plenty of cool restaurants, Shops and Cafés around that are accessible in Minutes by walk. The Beach is also a short walk away. The room itself is in a beautiful wooden Bungalow with a big bathroom. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have great tips for restaurants and activities. They Serve a simple but good breakfast every morning with Eggs, yogourt, Fresh Fruits etc. The quality/price ratio is incredible. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to visit the Region.

Convenience, tranquility and neighbourhood — more laid-back and packed with tasteful shops and restaurants (our fav: Bokashi). The beach is just a 10-minute walk away and you can also get to the bustling Canggu centre on foot just following the beach. The hotel itself is down an ally next to an art gallery hosted in a lush oasis, with a spacious pool and lounge/breakfast area looking over it. The hospitality of the staff is impeccable! Zero communication issue in English (even a bit Chinese!), and their recommendations are always thoughtful and helpful. Our room is very clean and the bathroom is extra spacious! Everything is in place and well-thoughtful, we really enjoyed our stay here!

The room is relatively dark which is probably intended to create a calmer ambience. Nonetheless, as an architect myself, I would still recommend to add some functional lighting to the space since the windows are small. We are not sure if we didn't lock the door properly or it's just how it is, the doors can still be pushed open quite effortlessly when "locked". Not that this caused us any trouble, we consider the hotel to be very safe as is Bali, but maybe ask the staff to show you how to do it correctly if you have valuables in the room.

Unique green paradise with the most helpful and kind staff. I really enjoyed the concept of bungalows surrounded by greens. Everything is new and clean. Spacious room with big bathroom and comfortable bed. Perfect location with so many cool restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and beach nearby. Special thanks goes to Mr. Komang and Mrs. Ida from reception, thanks to their warm and friendly approach was feeling during my stay like at home.

We loved Everything! The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was amazing (single origin Indonesian coffee, the best I’ve had over here!), the staff were always so happy, helpful and kind, the grounds are lush and tranquil and the room was so so beautiful! We were upgraded to the family room when we arrived and gosh it was such a stunning room! We honestly can’t fault anything, it was the best place we stayed on our entire trip and we can’t recommend it highly enough! Kayu Village is an oasis!

Kayu Village felt like a home away from home, so glad I chose to stay here for almost 3 weeks! My hut was beautiful and felt authentic and traditional, exactly what I wanted. Housekeeping are amazing and cleanliness is 10/10. Laundry was quick and cheap. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful for me. The whole properly feels tranquil and serene. Beautiful pool and gardens. Location is amazing, great restaurants nearby and most importantly I felt really safe! I was travelling alone and safety was important to me. I loved being able to WhatsApp the staff at any point with any questions. The staff are truly amazing, better than I’ve ever encountered at five star luxury hotels. They really make whole place come alive. The manager, Rus has a great team and was always happy to answer every one of my many questions! Diah & Ida, I love you girls! I unfortunately woke up very unwell with sickness on the day of my departure. Ida’s help with the nurse, bringing me food and water and her kindness is something I’ll never forget! I am so grateful for everything, especially in that moment of despair! Travelling alone as a female can be quite daunting but I felt like part of the family by the end of it. I will definitely return again and again :) thank you for everything!!

We truly loved staying at the Kayu Village. The place opened just recently in April 2024, and offers a high standard. When we arrived, the friendly team and fruit plate in our room made us feel immediately welcome. The room is spacious and very clean, the temperature ideal thanks to the AC and the bed comfortable. Our favorite was the open and light bathroom. The plants around the cottages offer lots of privacy. The location was just perfect, near many excellent restaurants and a max. 10-minute walk to the beach. At the same time it was very quiet and we enjoyed just lying at the beautiful pool after an adventurous day. The breakfast was delicious, offering a tasty selection like fruit, croissants, egg etc. We also enjoyed having a coffee at the front porch of our cottage. The place seemed to care about sustainability as they offered coffee from local roasters, there was no plastic used during breakfast and the glass water bottles in our room were refilled daily. The team also have a small garden where they grow fruit and vegetables. What stood out most was the very friendly, professional and accommodating team. They had great recommendations, were up for a chat or share a laughter, and made sure we had everything to make us feel comfortable. They helped us organize a driver to see the surroundings like Jatiluwih Rice Terraces. We will for sure come back here!

There is really nothing we did not like. Only minor remark is that a mosquito net covering the bed would be great. We paid attention to closing the doors properly so we were lucky to not get many mosquitoes inside, but would have appreciated a mosquito net nevertheless. There was mosquito protection spray provided in the room though. We shared this feedback with the team and they're already planning to install them. So likely when you read this review, you will already find a mosquito protection in your room.

It is exactly how you see in the pics I have to compliment this hotel for the cleaning, it was amazing, always very clean and they always renewed our towels and the complimentary and coffee in the room We loved the street and it is 3 minutes by walk pererenan beach, which is super cute to watch sunsets and kites

Everything about this place is perfect, it’s a small oasis in the middle of busy Canggu. The location is great, you can walk to the beach and there are many amazing restaurants and shops around. The breakfast is delicious, the swimming pool area is so peaceful, the architecture, the plants, every little detail inside the cabin is so beautiful and thoughtful. The team members are all so sweet and professional, amazing people that made us feel super welcome! :) We loved our stay here, thank you very much for having us, I would recommend this place a thousand times!!
