The bed was huge, and the room as well was nice, clean and large. We stayed with our 2 small kids and plenty of room. We had the swim out pool and was great for the kids with the step being so large. The pool was great and the large kids area too. Nice and quiet, with a short walk to the beach.

The glass panels in the doors on the bathroom door. This means if someone is sleeping and you get up in the night and need to turn the light on, you can't really as it shines through the whole room. The glass is good in the day for more natural light in the room, but I do think that a pull down blind etc needs to be an option, we tried to use a towel but it only covered the top panel. You had to pay for a proper coffee, I think one should be included with the breakfast. A few more suns beds around the pool would be good.

First time in Bali. Felt comfortable, safe and welcomed. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Had massage from Dita and pedicure, excellent services all round. Breakfast was part of our package. Nice food at hotel restaurant, good range of options. Lovely coffee! Pool bar, again beautiful. Great service. Pool clean and good size. Laundry service was great too. Room was good size, and clean, large comfortable bed. Highlight.. Our driver from Sense, MADI. He was amazing, knew all the places to go, shared history and had great conversations in English. Safe driver, felt very comfortable and at ease with travelling in vehicle with him. From arriving to leaving, best first experience I could have asked for. Sounds too good to be true? Honest review!

We enjoyed staying at Sense Canggu as it’s in the quieter part of Canggu with a beautiful 15 min beach walk to all the restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy the entire time. We had one issue with a noise complaint and they were more than happy to assist us in moving us rooms (with a nice little upgrade too which was perfect with lagoon access!) Cynthia and the pool bar staff kept us well hydrated and played some great tunes for us to groove too!! Thanks again for having us, we will be recommending to all our friends and family who want resort vibes but without the big crowds. You must ask for the Cynthia special (her cucumber cocktail was delicious) 💛

A little concerned after reading the recent reviews. Fortunately for us we had an overall good experience :) The staff are really friendly, welcoming and Very helpful. Location: if you prefer peace and quiet then this remote location will be suitable. You absolutely need transport or a scooter to get around if you plan on leaving the accommodation. There is a fancy massage place next door and a restaurant called The Flow (highly recommend) it’s a 5 minute scooter ride to the beach. Other than that you need to drive - it’s too far to walk. We rented a scooter from the hotel for 130k a day. You don’t need to show a motorcycle license/international drivers license. (do so at your own risk) there is a selection of helmets, some with visors. Do not use a scooter unless you are experienced…the traffic is very heavy and chaotic. Room 5107: lagoon/pool access. Clean, not damp, no air fresheners - smelt really clean actually. Room is spacious at 50sqm. I would only recommend staying in this style of room as you have an undercover outside area where you can sit and relax and look at and access the pool. The balcony rooms have to come down and try and snag a chair - there are not many on the opposite side of the pool. Music is played from the pool bar, however you cannot hear it from inside the rooms. Everything is designed around the pool, so having this style of room makes the most of it. The bed was very comfortable albeit squeaky, aircon cool. Walk in shower was a huge space. Shower fitting in ceiling had zero water pressure, however the hand fitting was very strong, it wouldn’t stay on the rail and kept sliding down. Little maintenance required there. Hot water. Large selection of snacks on the mini bar. Breakfast: included. Small range of bread (covered), pastries, fruit, juice, coffee. Order from menu from approx 10 or more options. I tried something different every day and overall it was nice!

The Penthouse suite room was great and the hot tub was a very good bonus! We would definitely recommend staying at Sense. All of the staff was amazing and so helpful especially Kaila and Anggi at the front office and Rani and Rina in the restaurant. Our room was very clean during outstay we extended 2 times whilst being there. The Location is great if you want to be a little bit further out of the Canguu chaos but still very close to everything. The pool was fairly quiet during the day could have more sun loungers .Overall lovely stay and would come back .

The beds wasn't too comfortable and there was quite a few mozzys flying about.

The hotel had scooters you could hire direct which was much better than waiting for one to be delivered, and reasonable prices too. The spa was great, I had an excellent pedicure and massage. Really lovely service. Great having a 24/hr reception. Great laundry service ☺️

If you want to relax this likely isn’t the hotel for you. There is often loud music at the pool bar which is meant to close at 6pm but they were still shaking cocktails at 10.30pm Wednesday night and we had to repeatedly ask for them to turn the music down so that we could try to sleep. They do have a DJ by the pool 2pm-5pm Wednesday and Saturdays and acoustic night and karaoke on Friday nights 7-10pm, so it stays noisy if other guests keep the party going. More vegan options in the restaurant would be great. The sculptures above the bed haven’t been dusted for a long time and the aircon unit had black mould around it. Could do with some more chairs by the pool ☺️

Fairly priced hotel, comfortable bed, nice pool, great room service, They remembered my husbands birthday did a surprise visit to our room, sang and brought a cake for my husband too.

The first day we arrived way before our check in time, the guy at reception was quite rude to us for no reason, we had made the payment for our room and he allowed us to leave our luggage there but asked us to pay for breakfast first even before being welcomed to sit down at the restaurant area. Another downside is that If your flight is delayed and you arrive past midnight, there is no one at front desk reception past midnight. This happened to our friends.

We LOVED this hotel. We stayed in a room with Lagoon Access which was awesome! The view of the pool was so beautiful. The rooms were HUGE and so clean. The shower was hot with great water pressure. The bed was massive and soooo comfortable. I came down with flu like illness so spent a lot of time in the hotel room and it was honestly the best place to get sick. Location is great, only a short walk to the beach and restaurants.

There wasn't many vegan options on the menu which meant we ordered food from other places a lot. Otherwise we couldn't fault it

Private walk out access to the pool is fantastic. Delicious pool bar cocktails of which were cheaper than drinking out! Included breakfast was delicious and gave us no reason to dine elsewhere. Lunch and dinner meals were tasty too. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. They also gave us recommendations on where to dine out or just generally enjoy having a chat/laugh with guests. Close to the beach - approx 5 min walk. Being a little away from the main town meant that it was quieter (you are generally a drive or 20-30 min walk to most places but this didn't bother us) Spa therapists were fantastic. I had two massages and wish I had booked in more treatments! You're able to hire a scooter from reception which worked out to be approx 80k IDR/day during our visit. Thank you to Eka and the whole team. We had a fabulous time!!.

Canggu is under a huge development so there is construction everywhere. Roads are very busy! This is not unlike many other areas in Bali though. We also didn't notice the construction noise next door in the evening and it didn't really bother us during the day. As buildings age, things start to wear down somewhat. You do notice this a bit in the bathroom area. Would be good if the pool was able to be heated too as the majority of it is covered in shade and can get cold.

The staff was excellente! the food was perfect. The swimming pool was verry nice. The rooms were verru clean, and the size of the rooms were perfect. The massages at the hotel were amazing. Location is perfect near canggu centre but just out of the busy part of canggu. The balcony was also verry good.

Only we missed fresh juices during breakfeast and the opportunity to drink dairy free cappuccino. The swimming pool was verry nice but a little bit cold. And for a reating of 5 stars i missed opurtunity do some sport accomodattion.
