The Corduroy is something else. Tucked away in the heart of Canggu/Perenanan, right by a quiet river, it’s smack in the middle of all the action, yet somehow still feels like an escape. The vibe here is magnetic—it’s raw, alive, and unapologetically creative. The decor? Unreal. It’s got this effortless style that makes places like Soho House feel like they’re trying too hard. You can tell this place is run by a woman—there’s power in every detail. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a reflection of her energy, her aesthetic, her vision. Staying here wakes something up in you. You’re surrounded by the buzz and chaos, but it fuels you instead of draining you. This isn’t a spot to hide away—it’s a place to tap into your creative side and feel something.

This Is not the usual fancy resort! This place is special 🤩 You are welcomed and treated like a friend in a location full of interesting details... And less thank 5 minutes walk from the beach. 24h frigo bar where you can serve yourself and they trust you to keep the count of drinks/food until checkout. Rented a big and powerful scooter for One day (we were late and give back the keys the day After and they did not ask for any extra Money) for less thank 10 euro to visit Ubud. And many more good points but i am tired to type 😄

I can give a tip pubblicly: there was not written on the dispensers, in the (big and beautiful) shower, which One was the shampoo and which the shower gel. We had to Guess from smelling them 😘

Someone said it’s “Soho House style” and they were bang on. I felt so relaxed and also gently pampered. I adore the quirky artsy style and the swimming pool is gorgeous. The room was great - a duplex with an outside seating area - and I peeked in the others which were equally fabulous Staff are fantastic: available, willing to help but not intrusive My favourite go to hotel now - family live in Bali and I will be back!

The mosquitoes! I chose a River villa so my bad - there’s nothing more they could do about it, but if you are sensitive to the critters pick a different room…

I absolutely loved The Corduroy Hotel! I discovered so many great things about it — the location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets at the nearby bar. I especially loved the open design of the hotel — it made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and even a bit inspired. The space has a creative vibe and is also great for photography if you're looking for modern and artistic backdrops. The pool is clean and absolutely beautiful. My room on the second floor was cozy and stylish. I stayed for two nights, and the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable — I slept so well!

A very beautiful courtyard, and the interior design of the public spaces is also lovely. The staff are all very nice, and there are several mango trees in the yard (the mangoes are delicious). The pool looks nice, though I didn’t use it this time. The hot water and WiFi are both stable. If I have the chance to return to Canggu, I would stay here again.

The only drawback is that some insects and ants can get into the single room, and maybe because the room has a wooden roof, some wood dust falls down after it rains. The towels are washed, but there may still be some stains that didn’t fully come out. The air conditioning works well at night, but during the day, it’s not as effective, and the outdoor areas feel more comfortable than the room :)

The property is so gorgeous, the owners design is so atheistic and she has an absolutely amazing eye for design! Me and my friend absolutely loved the pool and the small details, such as the sunbeds matching the pool decor! One of the most beautiful and stylish hotels I have ever visited. The location is good for beach goers and surfers, and is really good for a quiet place to escape busy roads! The beds were so comfortable and the staff just amazing, everyday our beds would be made (sometimes even twice after a nap!) with fresh towels and fresh water. They were so helpful and chatty. They were more than happy to give us local recommendations, and we loved the chill playlist being played whilst around the pool. We really loved our stay thank you so much for having us!

This place is AMAZING!!! The vibe is great, the room is super nice, the pool is lovely, the staff is very helpful and the location is just perfect. It’s a tranquil oasis close to the vibrant centre of Canggu, so you can have best of both worlds, which I was looking for. I could walk to the beach in 5 minutes (the sunsets here are just breathtaking!!!) and to the heart of Canggu in approx. 20 min. If you don’t like to walk, you can use the app Gojek, which works perfectly. There are a lot of restaurants and spa’s really close walking distance from the accommodation. I was suppose to stay 6 nights, but extended to 8 nights. Tbh could’ve stayed even longer. Def will come back here next time I am in Bali (which will be very soon haha!).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we had a question or query, they were happy and prompt to help. We met the owner, who also seemed lovely. She introuduced herself, which we really appreciated and she gave us some advice on where to eat or drink. The pool area is stunning. The whole decor is gorgeous. Very chic and rustic. I loved walking around the grounds to take it all in. There's also nice chilled music around the pool and snacks you can take and pay for at the end of your stay. The location is really good, only a 5 minute walk to Echo beach where there are some nice bars and places to eat. It's a bit further to walk for actual Canngu. It's also so nice to hear all the wildlife and birds whilst in the hotel and laying around the pool. The parrot is gorgeous, but sadly has his wing clipped, I'm not sure why. I was hoping maybe he'd been rescued and brought to the hotel like that, rather than it being done so he has to stay at the hotel. He's a funny little fella.

There's nothing that we didn't like. Our room was a bit basic and small, with a small and basic bathroom also. The shower leaked water across the floor but we didn't mind overly. The large window was lovely and had a nice view, which also made the room bright and airy. It was still very comfortable.

The place was amazing,,, we were lucky enough to pick this hotel first for our stay in canggu. The street it's in is very relaxed,, walk to the beach and beachside food is 4 mins,, and also sooo close to an exceptional restaurant called The Flow All of the staff at The Corduroy hotel were epic,,we became first name basis because they were so friendly and helpful We met the owner who gave us an amazing run down of the area and options available to us Ozzy is amazing and very knowledgeable about the area Rooms are epic and beds are so comfortable Absolutely recommend this place to anyone

The property and staff were great!

We had pre booked a pick up, the pick up taxi did not arrive, we tried contacting him, the hotel tried contacting him, and he didn’t answer. Two hours after the set pick up time the driver tried to get in touch “looking for us”, but we had already left. The owner of the hotel made us pay the driver, who was not reachable or present, anyway. Poor costumer service on the owner. The least he could have done was offer us a beer. But we were treated as if it was only our fault even though we tried contacting the driver and the hotel staff told us they couldn’t reach him. Also it’s cheaper to just get a taxi from the airport. The hotel charges about 10 bucks extra than what you can get on your own.
