If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Bali then this is the place to stay. Everything is perfect from the rooms, to the location to the owner and staff who made the stay incredible. The recommendation by the owner made our experience unique, the location is perfect within 2 minutes of the beach and all the best restaurants. After 10 days in Bali in 4 different areas, this was definitely the highlight of the trip.

This oasis is an outstanding, beautiful Boutique Hotel in the happening of Canggu! The owner has decorated the place with talent, charme and love. The employees are above and beyond. Really special, thank you!

It was a hidden gem, lush gardens, very attractive property, attentive staff, Filipa supplied very helpful info for getting around, places to eat etc. Breakfast was delicious! Location was good, walk to beach & restaurants. The property has its own water filtration which is an absolute plus. We had an early flight & Filipa arranged a delicious takeaway breakfast of freshly prepared fruits, croissants and her delicious chocolate cake ☺️

We would have loved a small fridge & also tea/coffee making facility in the room would have been nice. It is a place where you need to be quiet & mindful of others.

Everything: the hotel is gorgeous, clean and quite. A true little oasis. But what makes this hotel special is the staff! Filippa the owner and all her staff are the kindest and the most helpful people and made my stay very relaxing. Breakfast is delicious. Hotel is close to the beach, and is surrounded with good restaurants and cafes. They also have their own filtered water so you can brush your teeth with the tap water.

I loved everything. The only bothersome thing is that there is a construction on a property next to, so I was awaken 2 days in a row very early (before 7am) to the sounds of very loud hammering.

The beautiful and serene setting of the garden and the pool, an true oasis of tranquility it is, as well as the kindness of the the hosts and their staff, all very nice, kind and service minded people that will go over and beyond for you to make you feel at home and comfortable. A very recommendable place to stay.!

The ongoing construction works around the premises as there are other/new facilities being build in the neighborhood, but OK, that is mainly during the day only so it is bearable.

Hotel design is beautiful and rooms as well as pool area were nicely decorated. Service was very good, staff is uotra attentive, always helpful. Breakfast was delicious and rich with options. Pool was relaxing. I loved the smell of the shampoo and shower gels. I received a good number of suggestions from them for restaurants, beach clubs etc before my visit. The area is new so lots of new good restaurants nearby. I needed to join a meeting and they offered me hotspot when wifi was cut in the street. Luckily it was already back in time.

There were many dogs in the nearby streets or at the beach when I walked around first time. Unfortunately i have stupid fear of street animals so i took the cab the next times for moving around. It was completely ok as grab is so easy to use in Bali. and I am sure it is not an issue for other people.

The location in Canggu is about perfect, walkable to everything. The property is an hidden oasis. It’s so well maintained and beautifully decorated, I felt immediately at ease. The staff were absolutely kind and welcoming and the owners know how to host travelers looking for a place to chill. The rooms have great detail, good A/C and comfortable beds, must have breakfast and fresh baked goodies every morning! Every detail is dialed in, and they can provide everything you need at a great price point.

The breakfast was exceptional. To be honest... almost too big but you have the choice of simply just not choosing all options. When on holiday it's a bit more difficult to decline such a generous offer but generally, juice, pastry, fruit and granola with coffee was ample. Though I'm used to espresso coffee I still really enjoy Bali style coffee.

The team were just lovely. So welcoming and kind in there attention. The breakfast was really very very good. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. They're a good size and wifi worked well. We stayed for just 4 nights here so if longer I'd consider having tv being good but I understand this is outside what the very lovely owners are trying to achieve and... you still have wifi access so no big deal.

I loved everything about Amar hotel itself!! It's really beautiful, so nicely decorated as you can see on the photos! Beautiful rooms, very clean and the craftsmanship is showcased throughout the hotel. the swimming pool is magnificent, the greenery around the swimming pool makes it a little cocoon! And .... You feel so welcome!! I soooooo appreciated the extreme kindness of the staff, an incredible quality of service, they do everything to be useful and kind to you! I want to particularly thank Tiar, the hotel manager, who was incredibly kind and available👏🏻 Thank you for everything my dear Tiar! This young man is truly very professional and a beautiful person 🙏🏻👋🏻 The owner Filippa was very nice too, very accommodating, thank you for letting me stay the whole day before I left!

The construction noise around!....😢Very unfortunately, this little gem is now surrounded by new constructions around, whose works are making terrible noise all day long .... Such a shame ... Of'course the owners and the staff do what they can, but the rapid tourist development of Bali means that there are a lot of nuisances, too many people, too much traffic and noise ... Mass tourism ....
