We liked the quiet location tucked back just a short walk from the beach and the lush gardens made it a tranquil place. We enjoyed having the pool right outside our door. There were bicycles to use free of charge.

The shower floor was discoloured and looked dirty.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Echo villa. The location is perfect! 7’ walk from the Echo beach and La brisa and you can easily go from there by the beach to Batu bolong. If you are into surfing, these are the spots you will hang out all day long. Very easy for Gojeck drivers to pick you up. The area is very quite and private and the room very spacious and comfortable. Plus that they provide laundring services for your clothes.

One thing that could be improved are the mosquitos and bugs inside the room. The windows in the bedroom were not closing fully, allowing the bugs get inside and even though we had mozzie repellent didn’t do much. If you have an issue with light while sleeping, mind that from the bedroom window there is slight light getting in. And finally the staff was not as we have used in other places in Bali. They were polite but you didn’t feel the heartwarming vibe that usually you get from Balinese staff.

Great location close to some great restaurants, markets, shopping in Pererenan and 5 minutes from beach. Very clean and serviced daily by very friendly staff. Like the access to clean water, kettle , toaster and little oven. Very comfy bed, large space and two quiet aircons. TV has NETFLIX so I could access this. Must try restaurants and cafes - Bokashi, Porncakes at the Brunch Club, Little Frenchi, and Fish Tacos at the first beach cafe. Porncakes, funny name, but delicious. Made to order and like a soufflé.

My only suggestion is that the pool motor be insulated more as it was very noisy and maybe turned off at night between 11:00 and 8:00.

Only 2 mins walk to echo beach which has cafes and a beach club with excellent massage (La Brisa). Located in a quiet cul de sac but easily accessible to main canggu via walking along the beach. Stayed in the 2BR apartment which shares a common pool with 2 other units (low density). It is a duplex with the 2 rooms on the ground floor ( 1 double bed and another room consisting of 2 single beds). Shower is also on the ground floor. 1st floor is a spacious and comfortable kitchen and living which opens up to a large balcony. Do order their breakfast on lazy mornings and they will deliver it to your room and set it up beautifully. Pancakes, eggs, chicken sausages (we dont take pork), fruit platter, yogurt w granola, coffee tea and orange juice. Definitely worth it.

The place itself was great, it was so spacious and the pool was amazing! The aircon worked well. The internet didn’t work well for us but it was due to a fault and the manager was so good about it, keeping us up to date and gave us a free breakfast to make up for it which we appreciated. I would say it’s a wee bit far away from the hustle and bustle so depending what your after it may work for you but it was easy to get grab cars/scooters and food delivered. The only real negative I have (which is for all of canggu) is the water smelled funny out of the taps/showers (like sewer) I went to the hair dresser and it was the same so must be all of the water there. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Small negative was Netflix wouldn’t work on the tv but YouTube did (just for when kids needed downtime)

Away from the crowd also means that you need a scooter to get to all the populair spots in Canggu.

I felt at home & comfortable

Communication about power outages & providing battery operated lighting or candles & matches. They did not give notice of construction to me next door. The communication was very poor from hosts. I was given one number for the apartment info, but was kept being told to message another person. In the end I had to always message two managers. There should be one number only for contact and that phone stays with the person in reception. Very annoying. There was no proactivity of managers. I had to be proactive with everything The kitchen needs more basic stuff, salt, pepper, containter to store food... all of that stuff which holiday visitors will not buy for only 1-4 nights... Some attention to detail is needed when it comes to this.

I have been travelling with my partner for 3 months and we decided to book an apartment here for a birthday treat for my partner. We could not have had a better experience, this is our favourite place we have stayed the whole time we have travelled. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. They gave us 5 toilet rolls and 6 towels for 3 days. They gave us a complementary breakfast and cake for my partners birthday. The receptionist was so lovely and helpful. The location is a 2 minute drive to the business of Canggu and you can rent scooters at the property. We had a 10/10 stay and would definitely come back.

I had a wonderful stay at Echo Beach Appartments ⛱️. The staff were fantastic. The appartment was spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. I felt so comfortable there and I had the option of great places to et or cook using the facilities. Everything was well maintained and looked after and Joni regularly checked in and was so helpful organising drivers and massages. Echo beach itself was so lovely. I enjoyed watching the sunsets 🌇 of an evening. A perfect way to finish my day.

The villa apartment was nice and spacious. The wifi worked well. It had A/C which was needed to help with the weather. The pool was really nice to use as well. The people there were super friendly and helped me to get anything I needed (scooter, massage, etc.). Would recommend!

The location is a bit far if you don't have a scooter to get around. You can walk towards the main roads but would have to walk through the beach side by La Brisa to get there. Pretty dark road, but safe nonetheless. Would recommend getting a scooter.
