Having that private oasis to cool off and relax in was an absolute game-changer and added an unparalleled level of indulgence to my stay. Despite the tranquil setting, the superb internet connection was a welcome and unexpected bonus, allowing me to stay connected seamlessly when needed. Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the lovely hotel infinity pool. The views were breathtaking, and it provided the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Finally, the quirky and lovely French influence woven throughout the hotel's design and ambiance added a unique charm that made La Reserve truly memorable. It was a delightful blend of elegance and playful character. I wholeheartedly recommend La Reserve to anyone seeking a luxurious, private, and exceptionally well-serviced retreat. If the brief for Canngu’s new hotel was romantic, sophisticated and timeless yet somehow modern and contemporary, La Reserve truly nailed the assignment. The hotel which is almost like a small resort, is a tucked away and would cater to the most discerning traveller. There is a restaurant and bar and the rear of the property which overlooks a grand pool surrounded by comfortable day beds. We often spent our mornings and afternoons out here swimming, reading, listening to music and enjoying delicious food and cocktails. There is a ‘secret spa’ hidden in the centre of the property which offers a variety of services, we would highly recommend a Balinese massage. The hotel’s linked beach club is one of the best, La Brisa and the hotel staff will take care of the booking for you if you wish and arrange free shuttle transport to the venue. What really sets this hotel apart are the wonderful staff who clearly have such a love and pride for what they do. One of the nights we stayed, I was quite sick and the night concierge went to the pharmacy to pick up anti nausea meds and water for me (thankfully it worked and I felt 100% the following day). The Manager went above and beyond to look after us each day with activity and restaurant recommendations. He even drove us to dinner in the hotel buggy, a little embarrassing when we realised it was only a 5 minute walk! His warmth and generosity with his time was much appreciated. Our room was luxurious and was thoughtfully designed and decorated, even to the smallest touch of including gorgeous art in the bathroom. We booked the room with a pool which was a nice way to wake up each morning. We hope to come back soon!

I like the surrounding greeneries, the overall ambience, comfort room with balcony with the pool view. Breakfast options are unordinarily excellent and tasty. I tried food on the menu are also delicious, it was beyond my expectation. The resort also provides a very good in service with prompt in communication. It is such a tranquil place to stay and have a peaceful self as a solo traveller at this resort. Wonderful!

It was a rainy season due to hot weather, there were quite a lot of mosquitos. Do have a mosquito repellent handy while in outdoor.

La Reserve is sensational - the pictures and reviews don't do it justice. The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming and kind; they frequently went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location is excellent and the La Reserve shuttle was handy for places that were a little far to work. Our room was without a doubt the most beautiful room we stayed in throughout our stay in Bali (and we were there for our honeymoon, so stayed in some lovely places!). One thing that isn't mentioned is that La Reserve seemed to only have 10-15 rooms, despite having big grounds. This meant that the pool was never overcrowded and it felt like the staff really got to know you and your preferences.

We loved our stay at La Reserve. It is the most beautiful lush calm sanctuary, right in the heart of everything. We loved the Pererenan area as it was a bit quieter than Canggu proper with lots of great cafes and bars around. The pool at La Reserve is stunning, the breakfast was delicious (and the Nasi Goreng for lunch) and the staff and service were incredible. Easy to communicate by WhatsApp. (The staff even found my diamond ring and returned it, before I realised I had lost it). The spa was also incredible. A really nice dark and moody space, with very talented masseuse. We had the Simone room which I highly recommend. You could jump in the pool from the shower (and vice versa) and it was a nice private location between reception/spa/restaurant/pool. We had read reviews about birds being noisy (they were a bit but not near our room and it kinda feels like the point of being surrounded by nature!) and construction noise.. there was a bit of noise from next door but not enough to impact or disrupt our stay. We will definitely be back - thanks for having us

A standout feature is the flexible breakfast service, available until the kitchen closes at 8:00 pm, catering perfectly to those battling jet lag. The diverse array of breakfast options is impressive, and the quality of the food is truly exceptional. During our stay, we indulged in the spa services, treating ourselves to a rejuvenating scrub and massage. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving us feeling refreshed and invigorated. Our visit to this hotel marked the beginning of our Bali adventure, and we were so captivated by the serene ambiance that we found it hard to venture beyond the hotel premises. It truly is a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation.

This establishment is fantastic across the board. The attention to detail is exceptional, from the facilities to the staff's attention. This venue offers a little haven of tranquility in the buzzing Pererenan/Canggu area. The hotel's buggy will take you to surrounding shops and restaurants very conveniently. The decoration is done very tastefully, with understated luxury and a few touches of quirkiness. The property's garden is beautiful. The breakfast is excellent. The spa well worth it. The kindness of the staff is only exceeded by their efficiency and professionalism. This venue was a marvellous discovery and we will be back.

First of all their hospitality was amazing I had such a great time with their kind welcoming and services. Everything that I had here I felt like they cared every detail so much. I even asked for help me to book the activities to enjoy Bali and they were so helpful and genuine. Their responses were really quickly and always polite. Breakfast was also amazing I couldn’t believe it’s all included because the quality was beyond my expectation. The room and the facility were incredibly beautiful and well organized. I was mesmerized every second of the moment being there.
