I stayed here for 5 nights with my 6 yo daughter. The hotel itself is nice, the pool is lovely and it’s located on the beach front and walking distance to Atlas and Finns Beach clubs and a lot of nice places to eat. The spa was nice and they accommodated my daughter and I for a little mummy/ daughter package. The whole place is getting quite old and running down and would require a good amount of investment to return to its former glory. We were paying about $300/ night and honestly I don’t think it was worth that but I can understand how they justify the prices as Canggu is now a very popular spot. The staff was lovely though and although there were some down points we did have a good time overall

The hotel is in front of a very dirty river. The whole place is running down and all decking/ walls etc are getting pretty old. We had a pool access room, the central AC doesn’t work and they installed splits in the rooms. My split didn’t work properly, would either get too cold (like impossible to be in there) or not work at all. They sent someone to play around with the remote ( no need to say didn’t really change anything). There was infiltration and mould everywhere on the walls. Towels from both pools and room are old and would smell straight away if wet.

Big comfortable room. Everything worked (OK, an iron didn't but it was quickly replaced.) Service quick, sympathetic but not intrusive. Good cocktails. A few nice freebies. I arrived for breakfast (after a workout) at 1130, well past finish time, and they made me juice and coffee and offered to make an omelet.

I guess we should all know, but it would be good to label taps as 'not suitable for drinking' (we assumed, as it's Bali, but some places have filtered water, and it's good to have a reminder when you arrive jet-lagged and out of it. And a couple more bottles of water and coffee capsules in the room.

Access to the beach is only a few steps away. Walking distance to Finns and Atlas beach clubs, you cannot hear the music at all from the resort, the beach clubs are interesting to check out. Staff are very friendly and accommodating

Restaurants are not nearby, also not a huge selection of restaurants. Happy hour should start earlier and like the hotel next door, where we went they had but one cocktail get one free, PLUS buy one pizza get one free!!!

Wonderful location, excellent staff and can’t beat ocean frontage. Loved watching the beach from the sun deck. Great location for the beach, beach clubs and nice neighbourhood to walk around with lovely restaurants.

Keep in mind this point is valid for all hotels in the area. This area is very busy due to the beach/night clubs (Finns, Atlas) and you can hear the music until midnight - loudest on Friday and Saturdays. It didn’t keep me up but it was reasonably loud. It is also a very long drive to Seminyak (somewhere between 30mins to 1.5hrs drive depending on traffic). Hotel restaurant isn’t great but there are lots of nice restaurants nearby.

1. Probably the best room we had during our 3 weeks on Bali. Very nice design and spacious. 2. Large pool allows for real swimming, not just dipping. 3. Good location on the edge of Canggu with beach access (near Atlas club). 4. Painting class.

1. Only running machine in fitness center was out of order. 2. Breakfast with immense variety of mediocre choices. Afternoon tea offer was also no good. After that we decided not to eat at their restaurant. There are many good choices outside nearby, like in the building next door. 3. We were charged again at check-in even though the booking had already been paid via booking.com. Staff apologized profusely over and over again but in the end it still took them over 2 weeks and an escalation via booking.com to refund us.

My and my wife stayed at this amazing hotel for 3 nights during our honeymoon in Bali and it was probably the best accommodation! It’s worthy to get the room with a pool access, so convenient. The staff was everyone so polite and kind and helpful. We loved it

This was perfect if you would like to relax in luxury, we are a young couple and we were happy to get a grab taxi for 10 minutes (download the app) to Canguu and Seminyak. It is very close to central Canguu, best to walk across the beach then back up the road. Otherwise not as many of the popular restaurants within walking, but didn’t effect our stay!

We love everything in Swarga, the room, food, facilities and the staff. What we enjoyed the most during our stay was the food, specifically Indonesian food. The price is reasonable for the quality of food they offer. The room in person and in photos looked exactly the same. The facilities were great, the pool was massive, the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent, and the location of the hotel itself was a plus. It was facing the beach which offered a more relaxing experience. Overall, Swarga Suites had exceeded our expectations.

Actually there's nothing that we didn't like. During our stay, there was an ongoing construction beside the main building of the hotel. I believe every guest had been informed about the ongoing construction through the letter that we had found in our room. The letter had the details of the construction (like what was the construction for and the time of the day that they will be working on it). There is a minimal noise disturbance but not to a point that you will get annoyed by it.

The location was good for us. The staff were so lovely. The hotel was clean. The pool was nice. The breakfast was good - actually, all of the food was good. There was entertainment on certain nights in the restaurant too. The afternoon tea package was a great daily treat. The beds were comfortable. The room was spacious. The aircon in the room was nice and cold. The bathtub was amazing & came with bath salts!! Scooter hire at the hotel made it very convenient. Airport transfers included was a bonus for our trip home.

A couple of things in the room were a bit 'tired' the door in the bathroom didn't close properly due to the wood on the top of the door being split - the same with the door to the pool access. We were charged for a 'missing coat hanger' - we have no idea when/where it went missing. HOWEVER - none of the above would stop us from returning. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel, pool was amazing, has two different depths and it is massive, loved the bean bags in the pool, the views are beautiful, the rooms were very clean and luxurious, the shower was amazing rainfall shower head, and plenty of space in the family room. Walking distance to both Finn’s beach club and atlas which is a bonus, about 5-10mins. Staff were friendly, some didn’t speak much English, I think they were training, but overall very happy and would stay again.

The beaches weren’t as nice as Legian, there was a lot of rubbish around the beaches, and beach access should be 24/7, maybe with a key pass to enter and exit, as you have to go right around if your walking from the beach to the hotel. They also didn’t have any iron boards, when we called they only had 1 and it was already being used, so I think they might need to have more readily available and for a 5 star resort I’d expect to be greeted as soon as you get out from the car and your bags taken for you, we unfortunately had to drag our bags up the ramp to the front desk and then up to the room with one lady who helped with one bag, otherwise service was super friendly.
