Comfortable bed, friendly efficient staff and best Wi-Fi over my 4 week trip around Bali and Lombok.

Some building work in the vicinity that was irritating during the day, but not the property’s fault.

The hosts are just amazing, very helpful and always smiling. I felt like home there 🫶 They also helped me with storing my luggage for a while, which was much appreciated. The pool is opened 24h, so you can swim later during the night, which is really nice. The room was spacious and clean. The location is good and there is a coworking space close to the accommodation. There were no power outages even when there was bad weather, which was nice because quite a few other places had problems with this in Canggu

It has a semi-opened bathroom, so there were some insects and gekos in the bathroom only, (which I’m scared of 🤦🏼‍♀️), but if you’re not then it shouldn’t be a problem. In my room there was no coverage for XL or Telkomsel, so I couldn’t use my router for work (but mine was on the lower ground, upstairs the coverage is ok). The Wi-fi is ok, I was able to work from the room, but it was a bit difficult during the calls, because sometimes there were lags. The breakfast is served only until 10am, so it was difficult for me to go most of the time, because I usually work until 1-2 am.

Clean, budget-friendly place to stay. Great location, close to the center, 10-min walk to the beach. Very quiet at the same time. Hot bathroom with a cold shower, which felt amazing in a tropical climate. The hosts are very friendly, trying to accommodate your needs

Cannot recommend this place enough. In a quiet location about a 25/30 minute walk from the main strip of shops! (Do not underestimate this walk in the heat). We were too scared to get a motorbike at first but we bit the bullet and it was fun! Staff were incredible, so friendly and helpful. It was our very first night in Bali and a fabulous and warm welcome into Bali. The room was lovely, bathroom was open (ish) to the outdoors but you just pull the blind! Aircon was a welcome addition, the pool was great and it was a quiet location, very peaceful :) breakfast was delicious too! Shower was great, plenty of hot water, and they provided bottles of water and shampoo/body wash. Very well sign posted so no issue finding it :) 10/10 would recommend

We had such a wonderful experience at Govardan Home Stay in Canggu! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — they were warm, helpful, and always available when we needed anything. The atmosphere felt like a home away from home. We loved it so much that we ended up rebooking the place twice and spent all of our days in Canggu here. The location is super convenient, and the peaceful vibe made it the perfect place to relax after exploring. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a cozy, friendly place to stay in Canggu!

Room was comfortable, nice guesthouse to stay. Nothing expational, just a standart room, walls wasnt like on the photo here, maybe it was just my room... Quiet, but at the same time good location. Staff was very helpful and nice :)

Great location! Really nice to have a kitchen in the common area so you could buy your own food. Helpful and kind staff. Hostel vibes though you have your own private room and bathroom. Great value. We recommend :) P.s. we recommend to eat at Manggis which is 2 mins away.

The bathroom was outdoors and got very warm in the nighttime - was ok though. No daily cleaning which was also ok taken in account the price.

I liked the pool, the rooms (big and comfy) and the staff that was incredibly kind. They also have a laundry service that was super efficient

The pool could have had more beds and maybe the location is not the best in my opinion.

Very clean and super friendly helpful staff. Close to amenities. Shaded pool area.

No mini fridge in our room...really needed to refrigerate our drinks.
