Stuff is very friendly and helpful, I loved the beautiful gardens and pool. So much to c and explore on this amazing peaceful property. Great arrangement with drivers very knowable about Kultur and surroundings . Booked originally for 2 days loved it so much existentes my stay to 4 nights . Breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately, I can't add anything more to the list of superlatives and good reviews Mangku and his team have already received. I can only confirm and praise them once again. Jepun Didulu is owner-driven, and the whole team goes out of their way to make your stay an unforgettable experience. You will be pampered and cared for with that incredible Balinese charm every hour of the day and beyond. If you ever want to experience Bali as it was 30 years ago, include Jepun Didulu more than a few days in your tour, and you’ll feel that it’s incomparable and completely different from the south. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful stay !  

And then there is this head officer of the security department: A cranky lady with hairy legs that checks on you whenever you arrive or leave the cottages. She follows your way of jumping like a mountain goat, going up and down all the steps, rocks, and cobblestones in the premises with that arrogant look as if you were expecting electrical staircases. You can't bribe her with free breakfast or lunch, and you won't get any closer than the fact that she tolerates you. Her name is Mila, and she’s quite a character!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Jepun Didulu Cottages! Mangku, Gusti, Ilu and the entire team were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering genuine Balinese hospitality that made us feel right at home. The cottages are nestled in a beautifully curated garden on a quiet hillside, providing a peaceful, remote vibe that was perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The setting, on the edge of a small local village, felt authentic and serene—yet it’s just a short 10–20 minute drive to nearby beaches, restaurants, and other amenities. Our cottage was cleaned daily, and we were well looked after throughout our stay. We especially loved the fresh fruit on the menu— it was delicious and good value! For those working remotely, we’d recommend bringing your own data as the WiFi can be a bit intermittent. That said, it was a small trade-off for such a special, off-the-beaten-path experience. We loved it here.

Very warm welcome with fresh lemon grass tea flower necklace and cold face towel - The atmosphere is very quiet far from touristic area - Very close to Virgin beach and many spots such as Chocolate factory, Ujung water palace, Tirta Gangga water palace, Tengangan Village, Lempuyang temple, Lahangan sweet, Coffee plantation / luwak coffee. Besakih mother temple, white water rafting etc. - Breakfast is very tasty with several choices (maincourse + Tea / coffee + Juice and sliced ​​fruit) at a good price, and there are variations of Lunch and Dinner. - Very flexible check out time, also very flexible tour hours. - Coffee time in the afternoon is served with complimentary snacks such as (fried bananas, popcorn, cassava etc.) which alternates every day Pampered by the staff who will carry all suitcases / belongings to the room, and vice versa when checking out. During your stay you will always be offered assistance, to ensure your stay at Jepun Didulu is as pleasant as expected. At this place, you can refill drinking water (mineral water) as often as you like for free using pitcher (no plastic bottles). They also give gifts upon check out and an impressive farewell. This place is a small cottage but with royal service. Absolutely recommended.

Hard to find, maybe from time to time you can hear car.

Arguably the most loveliest welcome I have had in Bali, Mangku and his team welcome you with a garland of flowers and a welcome drink very sweet ! and the biggest smiles !! Their driver picked me up from my hotel in Seminyak and its was smooth sailing all the way ! From the gorgeous tropical immaculately kept gardens to the HUGE sized bedroom ! accommodation , gorgeous thatched roof cottages elevated so you can admire the garden and views beyond, inside you have facilities to cook with a small kitchenette fridge coffee and tea making facilities and outdoor shower/bath room - I am not usually a fan of the outdoor bathrooms but this actually is half and half and done nicely ! the pool albeit not massive is a welcome relief when you have come home from sightseeing - Talking of which Mangku and his Team Driver BAGUS is amazing ! i had a specific list of what i wanted to see they organised it within seconds ! VIRGIN Beach is a must its in my opinion one of the the best beaches on bali unspoilt and beautifull still - They always offered to take me to the beach on their scooter and pick me up ! as a goodwill gesture which is just amazing ! I felt uber comfortable, breakfast simple but tasty and evening meal offerings we're also good ! you are off the beaten track here but at one with nature so expect the usual jungle critters and noise the beautiful gardens are a Gecko playground but they keep the mossies away ! I highly recommend this place especially if you want to see the REAL BALI ! Nothing everything was PERFECT !

If you want to experience the best hospitality you have ever imagined don't look further. By arrivel you get the warmest welcome you had and it does not stop until you're on your way home. The most friendly and warm people you ever met run and work at this hotel. Standing ready for you 24/7 to make sure you wil not forget your stay in one of their beautiful superclean and comfortabel cottages standing in their beautiful garden. Their job is to make you feel welcome and make your stay onforgetable with a smile on your face the whole time you are on their property and are ready to show you the way to enjoy the beautiful places nearby or far away. And the are extremely good at that. Nearby Virgin beach and the breathtaking clifs of Bukit Asah. I have been to a lot of places, this one and the staff I wil never forget. Have seen the reviews and expected a lot, stil they exceeded my expectations by miles. Thank you very much! I will surely come back.

There was nothing I didn't like, the only thing to maybe mention is that as like in the most hotels in bali, there was no warm water to shave at the sink. Standing under the nice Hot shower you forget that soon.

So nice place with so lovely staff there!!! We had a two floor bungalow with two big rooms each floor. Not just space but also very lovely dcotsted everthing. We missed nothing. Everything was cleaned every day. The manager and his staff are so remarkable friendly and help and support with every issue, even if transport or helpful recommendations for activities or restaurants. We visited for example the local choclate factory and the waterpalace as well as the beautiful virgin beach. A very special place there which we of course soon will visit again! Suksema - for wonderful four days in your hotel!

That we had to leave so soon because holiday finished

Our stay at this place was absolutely amazing! The location is stunning, and the property perfectly reflects the authentic Balinese atmosphere – serene, beautiful, and full of character. The surroundings made us feel like we were in a true paradise. What made our experience even better was the outstanding hospitality of the owner. They were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed, whether it was advice about the area or resolving any concerns. Their kindness and dedication truly stood out. This was an unforgettable experience, and we are so grateful for everything. Thank you for making our stay so special – we can’t wait to come back!

Mangku and his team were just wonderful. They could not have been more helpful, and no issue was too trivial or short-notice for them. The room was lovely - comfortable, clean, and cosy, and the site is perfectly set up for a relax and walkable from Virgin Beach. We felt right at home, and that’s thanks to all of the staff and the extra mile they go for guests. It’s a very special place with special people, and anyone coming to East Bali would have a wonderful stay there.

We didn’t drive or use scooters, and the staff showed incredible willingness to arrange transport (to Candi Dasa for dinner - as there are not many alternatives locally). However, we did find this expensive compared to other places we have stayed at.

Our bungalow was very comfortable and the gardens well kept.The pool is small but very clean, and the staff was great. They welcome you with a drink and some flowers !...very kind manager and employees.We enjoyed the breakfast, but be aware that they are not Restaurants or cafes in the village so you will have to travel to Candidasa.

Unfortunately the resort is on a busy road and the traffic noise is noticeable in the gardens, thankfully not indoors. Nobody mentioned the steps from the gate all up to your room and around the place, so people with mobility issues be aware.
