Everything! From the warm welcome we received, the beautiful grounds, lovely clean room overlooking the ocean, delicious food and of course the very attentive friendly staff. Especially Wayan who made sure we had everything we needed, he set up our bale for us, took drink orders while we were relaxing and helped my partner who had injured his ankle before we arrived. He made our experience of Puri Bagus very special.

Good location for snorkelling right out front and renting a boat to snorkel out at the islands. The layout of the resort was good especially the elevated dining area giving views out to sea and the nearby Islands. The staff were always smiling and always happy to help, nothing was too much trouble from hotel manager to grounds maintenance, all were genuinely happy to meet, greet and stop for a chat.

Nothing negative…all good.

Puri Bagus is a wonderful place to stay, clean and comfortable rooms, great restaurant, friendly staff, and the best views of the ocean and islands offshore !

Puri bliss! What a beautiful and tranquil place. Excellent hotel, staff, services, amenities and food. Large, comfy rooms. Just on the edge of Candidasa, surrounded by mountains, jungles and turqoise blue water. Relax by the lovely pool, or in a beachside cabana. We had everything we wanted, and more. Including a groovy, motorbike rental! I highly recommend this resort. Tell them Mr. Chris sent you. :-)

This hotel has an excellent spa, a beautiful pool and ocean side covered lounges, a delicious free breakfast and, most of all, staff who make an effort to learn your name & help you in any way possible. We went to yoga and Balinese dancing classes & loved the creations made from towels & fresh flowers in our room every day.

Like many Bali resorts this one is recovering from Covid. The staff are Bali-sweet, the villas are private, the beach is 20 steps away. Loved the raised platforms over the beach for morning meditation or evening glass of wine,

Many of the older (this one is 32 years old) need cosmetic upgrades but that doesn’t take away from the staff, the location, and the privacy.

The staff are amazing, they knew us by name and made sure we had everything we wanted. The room was beautiful, Balanise style, with an outdoor shower and beutiful ceiling. The location was fantastic right on the ocean with a very nice beach but also boats that would take us out to the reef nearby to snorkel. Truly wonderful experience.

The hotel is situated about 500-800 metres from lots of other smaller hotels, restaurants and shops, all within easy walking distance for Happy Hour cocktails. The view from the hotel breakfast room is just gorgeous and we loved the small shaded beach open cabanas right on the beachfront and looking towards Nusa Penida. Nice shower open to the sky in a very decent-sized bathroom and the rooms are spacious. Gardens huge and well-kept. It's terrific for a relaxing week.

The meals at the open restaurant were a bit on the bland side - or perhaps just what we chose. The mattresses in some of the cabanas are probably due for replacement but we accept that so many places are still recovering after such long lockdowns.

The location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We'd certainly recommend Puri Bagus to anyone wanting to stay in Candidasa.

Great location, super friendly staff, decent size (and deep) pool and a dive school attached to iit with direct access to the Tepekong dive sites. Excellent!
