I have just had a 2 night stay at this lovely hotel. I booked a standard room, basic but had everything I needed. A fridge would have been nice, but I did opt for the standard room. Excellent value for money, lovely staff & great location. If I could add one thing, it would be a pool, but really didn't miss it. The outside area is beautiful overlooking the beach with a choice of seating, staff waiting on you to bring food & drink if you do not want to eat in the main restaurant. Would definitely recommend Temple Cafe & Cottages

Nothing to dislike, a lovely older authentic hotel .... maybe as I mentioned a pool would be nice, but if you want to swim, there's a great big ocean right there 👍

The food at Temple was AMAZING, and incredible value for money. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is situated on the beach. When ordering food, you can sit in the restaurant at the front of the hotel, at your room, or at the tables and chairs right by the water. I did some online work while I was there, and have the most beautiful view of the water when I sat on my balcony. ❤️

The waves can be really loud when the tide is high, especially over night. I was staying in the cottage closest to the water, and got woken up a lot when waves crashed into the wall just in front of my room. The windows would also shake.

The views from the private beach terrace are absolutely stunning. I've stayed here before covid, and the restaurant has been greatly improved and looks really great - far better than almost all others in Candidasa. Everything is extremely well maintained throughout Temple and the room staff/ garden maintenence are permanently on the job. My room, extra for the Seaview, was very good as was the aircon. Breakfast is good and a fair price.

The main road outside has lorries flying through the town from sunrise to 10.30pm. Nothing can be done about this, and certainly not a fault of Temple, apart from staying near the beaches. Staff are definitely not proactive in the restaurant!

Great place to stay. Really nice cottages directly at the beach. The otherwise busy road is hidden behind the restaurant and reception, so you only listen to the sound of the ocean and the waves. (I don't understand others complaining about the noise - and I have an extremely light sleep). The staff was very kind to us and offered different kinds of breakfast at any time best for our needs (we got up early and late during our stay). Don't expect a European star-Hotel and you surely will have a great stay here (I had a special offer from booking.com)! The restaurant is awesome.

Shower is very basic with toilet together with shower. Only 1 power connection in the room. Nothing big to complain.

I loved the calm & peaceful place! The cottages are very simple, but directly in the front of the sea - I loved to watch the ocean! Breakfast was also simple but good. The staff ladies are very friendly & helpful for any advice or support for arranging activities, transport,...

Temple cottages offer a peaceful garden setting and great ocean views. The restaurant serves very reasonably priced, fresh and delicious food. I loved being able to dine by the ocean. The staff are friendly and the simple rooms are clean and great value for money.

Great location and great food at very reasonable cost. I stayed in the deluxe villa which has fully equiped kitchen and terrace that directly faces the ocean. I highly recommend! The sounds of the ocean and the sea breeze was very therapeutic. Has ocean view from the bedroom too. Will definitely stay again.

This is lovely seaside accommodation in Candidasa. A good central location to warungs, restaurants & shops. Our room was very comfortable & clean with good AC & wifi. The gardens are well maintained & the place has a lovely Bali feel to it. It was lovely to see that this property has survived that nasty pandemic. The new owners are gradually renovating each unit. There is a good selection of accommodation available from budget to deluxe rooms, ours had a small kitchen & lounge area. All in all, Temple Cafe & Cottages is a lovely relaxing stay.

Lovely cottages, right on the water, the views are terrific, come just for this! So nice to wake up next to the sea. The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean. Yes it’s basic but you get what you pay for! Even provide a kettle and tea, coffee, water in the rooms.

Everything. Beautiful and neat. Bang on the beach. Enji is an excellent hostess, who came to the airport herself to pick me up. Every evening when I got back found my room made spick and span. The attached cafe had the most amazing local food, so good that I watched not only locals but tourists from other resorts head over for a meal
