A wonderful property which lived up to expectations. Peaceful with attention to detail making this the best hotel we stayed at in Indonesia. Loved the breakfast and the way the ocean lashes the salt pool in contrast to the calm swimming pool.

Candidasa itself was a bit of a let down and felt rather down at heel. I would choose Aquaria either to stay in the hotel or to use as a Base for trips/ diving etc. Probably not the best choice for younger children as the atmosphere is hushed.

We stayed in the Seaview Bungalow/Villa. Lots of space and a feeling of privacy even though the rooms are all close together. The resort is down a small side street away from the busy main road so it was really peaceful. The view from the rooms was amazing! We loved watching the fishing boats come in each morning while we enjoyed our breakfast on our terrace. We ate at the resort nearly every night and the meals were top class. The staff were very attentive and took great care of us while we were there.

The bed was really soft and uncomfortable. Thankfully there is a second day bed in Villa 1 and it was firmer.

From check-in to check out, the whole experience at Aquaria was flawless. The hotel is serene, tastefully decorated, and well positioned . A perfect getaway for anyone looking for peace,perfect peace. It's also a great spot for families . Children are welcomed with open arms. Rooms are conveniently situated in front of the pool so the children can play while you relax . For those who like the sea like me, there is another pool with day beds and bean bags right at the sea wall. From here, there are stairs leading down to the ocean. The food is amazing ,fresh, and tasty, and the dinner menu changes nightly. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Candidassa...in fact I can't wait. The staff are amazing polite respectful and very helpful. Very customer focused. Well done, Aquaria Eco Resort. You have everything combined for my 5 star review.

Wow. What a beautiful little resort. Fabulous location, super clean, great breakfast delivered to your terrace if desired. Kind and efficient staff. Always there to help but not in your face. Rooms large and great a/c

I have mentioned this to the hotel but the wifi in our room was terrible. Cut in and out and hard to connect. No satellite tv so you really need a good connection to use Netflix etc

It was a great getaway, right next to the sea Excellent value for money There is a high quality dining on site as well as fully equipped spa, I had the massage on the beach was amazing What makes this resort so special are the staff so attentive and really make you feel special

Nothing only recommendation is to book a sea view as has better views and more privacy

Everything was absolutely beautiful. The beachfront location, the grounds, the rooms and the food, cannot fault it. Absolutely loved it!

The only negative is that I would expect with an Eco Resort that they will be smoke free, unfortunately guests are allowed to smoke outside the room and that smoke then becomes uncomfortable for everyone around - very disappointed.

The location you cannot beat. By the ocean with an ocean pool and a mineral pool. Small boutique and very comfortable Bali style villas. The warm friendly staff and delicious food make you want to return again & again..I have four times!

We're sad. Last night was our fourth and final night at Aquaria. We had such an amazing time. If you would like the definition of paradise, you'll find it here. From the lovely welcome and excellent friendly service, to the beautiful rooms and the location right on the water, this is the place to be. My wife and son and I had two rooms that opened up to the pool area. We loved the outside bed and table and chairs. The restaurant was excellent. Delicious food, lovingly prepared and professionally presented. There's a nice big pool between the room area and also a great ocean pool above the breaking waves. Very special. The gardens are manicured and constantly tended. Location - it's just a five minute walk to other restaurants and shops. We loved the rain shower and comfy bed. Best bed so far in Bali. The air con was quiet and effective, but not always needed. We loved the breakfasts. We liked the delicious fresh fruit and jams so much - we could have eaten more of it! :) And finally, my wife loved the resort spa. Very special. She made use of it a number of times and was totally pampered, right by the ocean! Check this place out. It's quiet and peaceful and so incredibly beautiful. You won't be disappointed. Thank you to Aquaria's lovely staff. We hope to see you all again!

Firstly,there is a great vibe about the resort:the staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to assist. They obviously like working at Aquaria and the owner was on site interacting with them most days. Our unit was one of the water front pair and we were so happy with the peace and quiet and the closeness of the sea. Breakfast on our terrace started the day perfectly. Pool snacks, lunch or dinner were all available and of high quality. We had the choice of a swim in the lovely main pool or the seaside plunge pool. We were a short stroll to the main drag, warungs and minimarts. We would definitely stay again.

My second visit to Aquaria but definitely not my last! The staff are friendly, efficient and happy to help in any way. They could not have done more to make our stay memorable. The rooms are clean, bright and beautifully furnished with thoughtful touches. Beds are comfortable. The pool is clean and perfect for cooling off. The location is superb with lovely ocean views but close to the Main Street. And lastly….. the food from the restaurant is so delicious with an interesting and varied menu.
