Staff were super friendly, English was good. Breakfasts exceeded our expectations! We stayed for 5 days and tried most of the dishes and all were really tasty. Location greY, right opposite Tip of The Tongue Warung which was tasty. Wifi was strong which was good as I had to work remotely for a couple of days. Perfectly clean accommodation.

Bikes for me should be included in the price of the hotel, not an extra 50k per day per bike.

From the moment we arrived we could tell what a wonderful place this is! We were welcomed with a fresh juice and such kind and caring staff. Throughout our stay all the staff could not do enough for us, genuinely some of the nicest people we had met on our travels. We were gutted we hadn’t booked to stay longer and were sad to leave. We genuinley woke up excited for breakfast every day, which were all fresh and delicious!😋 The room is perfect, cosy and clean. We loved the outdoor bathroom, small bugs at times but not a problem for us. The pool area is a lovely place to relax after being at the beach. The hotel is situated 15mins walk from the port and 10mins to the beach filled with turtles!🐢 amazing local warungs nearby for great value meals, our favourite was licung bamboo. If you’re visiting Gili meno (which you should be!) DONT hesitate to stay here - you won’t regret it!💙

It is situated on a beautiful quiet island with breathtaking beaches. This resort is in perfect harmony with the island, with the nature there, secluded and private. The rooms are quite large as are the bathrooms with the big shower in the open air😊. The pool with the frangipani around it is amazing. But what makes this place truly amazing and also the reason I will keep coming back ia the amazing staff that keeps it spotless, very nature consciencious (no plastic, everything nature oriented). They are all very friendly, they all go above and beyond so you can feel welcomed, they also prepare the most amazing breakfast! One example: one day my father had quite a nasty back ache and without us asking, one of the went into the village and brought us an ointement that actually made my father feel bether.. So the true gems of this place are JELLY, HAMDOUN, ALI, EDY, HELMY and RAHMAT. Thank you guys, you are the heart and soul of this place🙏🙏🙏

We stayed for three nights, and this place truly felt like an oasis on the island. Gili Meno itself is very quiet, with horse-drawn carriages instead of cars or electric scooters. Everything on the island is simple and down-to-earth, and this accommodation adds a touch of clarity, comfort, and order, which we really appreciated. The staff was outstanding—so kind, attentive, and welcoming while remaining discreet. It was a joy to interact with them. Our bungalow was spacious, the breakfast delicious, and the entire property beautifully maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. It’s a perfect place for anyone visiting Gili Meno. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, with great local warungs nearby. We loved our stay and highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Gili Meno escape. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the villas were so peaceful. We had a great breakfast each morning cooked to order and the hotel is well located to explore all sides of the island - can also hire bikes from the hotel which was useful.

Just be aware that the villas are in the centre of the island so whilst it’s just a 10 minute walk to the beach, in the evening it is dark and some of the walkways can get flooded. Alternatively you can use the horse and carts straight to the hotel :)

The place is really lovely and the huts are very nice, large and clean. We really liked the swimming pool. Staff are super helpful and kind. They took care of all our needs. If you want to sleep near the beach and the restaurants where you can easily go out in the evening, you may not be very happy with this location in the middle of the island. However we really enjoyed going back home where the locals also have their homes. Gili Meno is special not simply for the snorkelling, but also for its local life. It’s only a few minutes ride by bike, and they have been placing new lights in some streets (although you will still need a torce if you want to see everywhere). So staying here somehow adds to the experience of staying in gili meno.

The open bathroom surrounded by nature means that you will have insects and small animals coming in especially at night. Keep the bathroom door closed and you shouldn’t have any problem in the bedroom. If you are afraid of such animals, this may not be the place for you.

We had an exceptional stay at Gili Meno. The spacious rooms and unique outdoor bathrooms added a touch of luxe to our experience. Our host, Rafael, was exceptionally friendly and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit on the island. We would definitely return for another visit! The welcome juice and breakfast were delightful treats that we looked forward to each day. Overall, our time at Gili Meno was unforgettable and we highly recommend it to future guests.

If there's one suggestion for improvement, it would be to consider cooling the pool as it can get quite hot under the sun.

Stunning boutique property with comfortable rooms and a lovely cool chilled pool in a quiet setting. All Staff were very welcoming and friendly from our arrival, helping with renting out bikes, booking a private snorkel trip and serving delicious breakfast by the pool area. Dun and Aly especially made our visit to Gili Meno very welcoming along with Gandy, Jaelani, Edy and Met. Thank you all we will be back for a return visit 🫶👍

The staff were absolutely amazing- Jelaney helped us with everything we needed to settle quickly and get our bearings on the island, including places to eat, how to get around and which parts of the island/beaches to visit at different times of the day. He even walked with us to help us find a couple of spots. The staff made a delicious breakfast every morning too. The traditional-style huts are great - the aesthetic is delightful and tasteful, and the beds were comfy. A great place to stay.

The room was very clean, the staff pays really good attention to detail (flowers all over the room, etc.). They also make really good breakfasts, and they take care of the pool well, it’s very clean. The staff is very nice and professional.

It would be nice if the bike rental was free (it’s only 50.000 per day, but it would be a nice touch). The bikes could also need a bit of repair, but they were OK for the day
