The villa was heaven - nice private pool and living space. It was very clean and comfortable. Having the beach and snorkelling right on your doorstop was the best thing about staying here. The hotel provided snorkelling equipment free of charge and swimming with the turtles is a memory I will cherish forever.

Nothing really. My only suggestion would be that the hotel should give some money to help the 2 turtle sanctuaries on the island. Both sanctuaries are crying out for bigger donations and Bask should do more to give back to the island, as a lot of the Bask customers will be drawn to the island initially for the turtles. If Bask are already helping with donations, then they should talk about that more on the website or through other marketing etc as it would help raise awareness.

I was a little nervous of the all day music and the fact that the main area was open to the public as in general we like our peace and quiet but it was fabulous and my daughter loved people watching. The restaurant is fantastic and diner by the beach is lovely. You can just walk out and go around the island easily and safely and find your own boat to take you to other islands or snorkeling from the locals or horse ride or anything you like and return to the incredible comfort of your own villa. Its openness, its vibrancy, its upbeat nature is its charm. It offers the service and comfort of a resort without being trapped in one! The all day music in the main area which we could not hear from our villa was really fun and made me happy and stopped me thinking of anything other than what delicious meal I was going to eat next! Highly recommend

The snorkeling in front of the hotel is very busy. Good to look at but you may get flattened if you join in. I recommend taking a boat elsewhere.

I don’t write many reviews but oh man does this place deserve one. I decided to book 2 nights here despite being a solo traveler, because: why not? Everything from the ambiance, location, lounge furniture to the beautifully designed rooms and ever friendly staff is just flawless. Icing on the cake is definitively the kitchen, which created some of the best dishes I have had in a long time. The beach and snorkeling spots are right at your footsteps too so no need to move around really. Honestly I cannot even comprehend what a logistical nightmare it must be to keep this place online so hat’s off to all the staff and management. I tried my best to come up with any feedback or points for improvement, but there simply aren’t any ;)

The villa with private pool was spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were super helpful and ready to act on any request very quickly and professionally. The food was fabulous - we ate very meal at BASK from breakfast, lunch and dinner for a whole week and the standard was high and the quality of ingredients and preparation was of a high standard with great consistency. Great wine list, beers and cocktails, as well as fresh juices and smoothies, all delicious. Manu is a a warm and welcoming host and he made us feel at home, as did the small army of excellent staff. The transfer by car and speed boat from Lombok airport was easy, efficient and a fun way to arrive in style! Access to brilliant snorkelling opportunities directly in front of the resort. We left feeling absolutely satisfied by our holiday!

The only negatives to speak of were that we could hear the music from Gili T across the water, which was quite loud on some nights, even with earplugs in. While it didn't affect us hugely, it's something to consider if you are a light sleeper or easily irritated by noise at night. The water did shut off a few times, but never for long enough for this to cause any major inconvenience. Both of these downsides are out of the control of BASK, of course.

Staying at Bask Gili Meno was a truly extraordinary experience. The amazing staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The villas were absolutely stunning, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. If I could, I would rate this place more than a 10! The breakfast was simply delightful, with a variety of delicious options to start the day right. The service was impeccable, and the cleanliness was beyond impressive, maintaining a pristine environment at all times. As for the island itself, if heaven exists, I would say it is located in Gili Meno. The serene beauty and tranquility of this island are unmatched, making it a perfect paradise.

everything! my father gave me a mission to find a perfect resort with beachfront villa and can snorkel from the beach, this place meets all criteria! - the resort is beautiful with awesome pool and restaurant in front of the beach - the beachfront villa is luxurious, comfortable with modern design - the room is spacious and clean - the breakfast is included in the room rate and is so delicious - the food in the restaurant is super delicious and the price is fair - the staffs are super friendly and super nice - the snorkel from the beach is very nice Thank you Bask Gili Meno! You have excellent manager/ chief/ staffs. Would love to come back again!!!!

Our stay at Bask definitely exceeded all our expectations. The suites are both spacious and luxurious with a big private pool in the front. The staff is very friendly and will do anything to accommodate your wishes. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes from different kitchens - all taste just as impeccable. The island itself is dreamy and offers the perfect serene oasis for a relaxing holiday. Just in front of BASK is one of the most beautiful coral reefs we have ever seen, so certainly don’t forget your snorkeling equipment. Be advised to bring your water shoes as entering the sea with bare feet is nearly impossible due to lots of sharp stones and dead coral. If you want any recommendations just ask the hotel manager Manuel as he knows the island through and through.

It is more than stunning accommodation, Bask is world class in terms of high-end, beach-front, architectural resort living, without any compromises to experiencing the very special Gili Meno. Bask compliments Gili Meno’s stunning little island identifying, as the quietest of the nearby islands, making the sense of a tropical island paradise become a reality. Bask provided us with luxurious villa living, our own beautiful pool, thoughtful furnishings, and a breakfast that was a total food highlight in quality. The staff were so incredibly kind, caring and brilliant in their ability to deliver a very special holiday life-style. The owner/s of Bask have a considered approach to conservation, community care and local wellbeing too. Every day we snorkelled with turtles, grabbed a local massage, enjoyed a stunning dinner in the Bask restaurant, walked a different path in the island everyday and frankly, even though its only minutes away by boat, chose not to move far from Bask. The main resort has a glorious large pool, art gallery and underground pool. We loved it, and look forward to seeing Bask continue to influence improvement in environmental care in the local region.

We had a very memorable stay at Bask Gili Meno. Getting there was a bit of a hassle, but we were absolutely compensated when we arrived at this beautiful resort. The design and style is exactly to our taste, modern and cozy at the same time. The staff are very friendly and there is a very personal atmosphere. Manuel, the sommelier, is not only an excellent advisor on wine, but also embodies the good soul of the hotel. Our villa was very spacious and tastefully furnished, with lots of extras (coffee, water, cosmetic products, anti-mosquito spray etc.) and good products. The private pool is spacious and the adjoining house with an additional bedroom is also spacious and furnished and equipped in the same style. As if that wasn't enough, the food is excellent and there is a very good selection of wines. There are comfortable sun loungers and lounge areas in the complex and on the stretch of beach in front of the complex. What irritated us a little is that guests of the neighboring hotels can use these facilities for free without any preconditions; if word gets around, the limited pool area could quickly be occupied by non-hotel guests. We have fond memories of our time at Bask Gili Meno and will definitely be back!

DJ was cool 😎 Bask is not just a hotel – it's a haven of hospitality and indulgence. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable getaway. Everything was really thoughtful, the shower cap was biodegradable. A lot of details shows that they care about the environment 🌱 BTW, I do LOVE the almond croissant and Taro ice cream.
