We had such a lovely stay at Katara Gili as a couple for 5 nights. The staff were so helpful and friendly and ensured we had everything we needed and sorted our bike rental for us. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned daily with lovely decorations and touches to the room making it very cosy and pretty. The pool is small but perfect to cool off in followed by chilling outside your room on the balcony, hammocks or beanbags. We enjoyed trying the beef pie at the restaurant which was tasty - unfortunately we did not enjoy the butter chicken. Breakfast was included which was great with basic options likes toast, eggs, pancake and fruit. Cold filtered water was always available aswell as tea and coffee. Location was perfect to walk to main strip and cycle around the island. We would certainly recommend this hotel!

The location was very good, close to all accomodations and 5min away from the beach. The staff were very professional and they did their job so well, the pool was constantly cleaned and looked after and our rooms always smelled fresh and clean after they'd clean after us. I've never stayed in a place that was so looked after. The room was of good size, very convenient lighting placements and so comfy. The pool was perfect for swimming, deep and so clean. We couldn't hear other guests around us and felt like we're in a private room. Free filtered water and coffee, cereals too. 15min from the port on foot. If you're coming to Gili T, this is definitely the place to stay at.

Had the best stay at Katara - loved it here! I’ve stayed in gili t a few times now and this is definitely the best place I’ve stayed in! The staff are really lovely, helpful and always down for a chat too which is appreciated. The room was very spacious and had great facilities. The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast was really nice too! They’re very accommodating with requests and questions. Also felt safe here as a solo female traveller as door was locked during night time with code to get in which they provide you with. When I come back next year, I will definitely rebook here.

- AMAZINGLY kind staff - greeted us with a welcome drink, cold towel, we could check in early. Helped us book tours and arrange bike hire. They really helped to make our stay really special, particularly as it was for my birthday 🩷 - bed was really comfy - nice room with a lovely outdoor seating area for chilling - bathroom good with toiletries provided & room was cleaned daily. - food really yummy at all times of day and nice breakfast included ! Eggs on toast or pancakes and lovely fruit. - location was a short few minute bike ride from Main Street and was quiet at night which we liked. 10-15 min walk to the boat harbour. - nice refreshing pool

Would very much recommend this property! The staff were brilliant, owner is very accommodating, helped us carry my suitcase when it was raining and the mud road had flooded. The room and bathroom were very clean, air conditioning was brilliant. WiFi was very fast too and there are multiple WiFi networks if one of them is lagging a bit. We used their laundry service for an extra fee and were very satisfied - clothes all came back washed, dried and ironed. The restaurant attached (Bobby’s kitchen) does very lovely food too. As a Brit, their food was very much comfort food. Since being in Indonesia, I was very weary of food and getting ill but I didn’t have this with their food and was the first time I was able to eat a whole meal with little anxiety. Water is all filtered. By far, the most comfortable place we’ve stayed since travelling Indonesia

No complaints. Everything was at very high standards

Very clean room, cleaned every day. Water jar in the room. Good bathroom with lots of pressure and very clean shower (water flowing from top, or hand). The water didn’t taste salty as in another accommodation (Paradesa Villa). Breakfast was great (oat pancakes, fruits, muffins, coffee/tea, scrambled eggs) The owners/staff made us feel really great and they were really attentive to us.

Guests are really noisy, and because of the proximity of all the rooms, it is difficult to sleep the morning. Improvements: add a curtain in the shower to not have water splashing. Bath mat could be cleaner.

There were table and chairs in our room and it kind of just felt like they were in the way. The bungalow rooms are right beside the common area/pool/restaurant and can be a little noisy at times. Breakfast wasn’t great, service at breakfast was awful. Staff seemed flustered and unclear about what they were doing.

Not my first stay at Katara and it gets better each time. They now have more staff who are very friendly and keen to help. They are constantly making sure your stay is going to be good. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The property benefits from being 5 mins away from the busy front so you can relax by the pool without being disturbed. The food is also exceptional with a choice of local or western . New on the menu is the smashed burger which has a new theme on an old favourite. Highly recommended . Ps the WiFi is good here.

The staff it's so bloody nice. The place is very well kept. Pool is nice, and big enough. Yeah you might find a couple of floating leaves here and there, but guess what? that does not make the pool dirty. food is 10/10 position 10/10 - close enough to everything, far enough to not hear the mosque and prayers. room 10/10 - yeah ofc there is some rust here and there, but what do you expect? this aint a 5 stars hotel, so do not have 5 stars hotel expectation! totally recommend.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff were so helpful and organized our ferry trip over among other things, the food at Bonny's Kitchen was outstanding and such good value for money, the rooms are gorgeous, nice cold air con and fridge, super comfy bed, the salt water pool was beautiful and clean, and cold! The location was central but far enough away that it was quiet. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.
