The place is very nice, I loved the rooms and the outdoor bathroom. The beach where you can see turtles is 10 minutes walking.

It’s not the hotel fault, but there is a HUGE noise coming from the mosque right around the corner. At 5AM everyday you will be waken up for 10 minutes, hearing the prayers. I bring my own earplugs in wax but I could still hear it so loud. Plus, the hotel doesn’t accept the Italian cards for payment. We found out just at the check out, maybe they could’ve told us since they knew it. The staff was nice to accompany us to pay in a shop close to the harbor, but we had the boat leaving in that morning so we had to rush a lot, being worried.

wonderful stay in a little corner of paradise We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The place is peaceful, full of charm, and perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The family who runs it is exceptionally kind and welcoming. From the very first day, they made us feel at home they even invited us to share a meal with them, which was incredibly touching. Breakfast is definitely one of the highlights: fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. A perfect start to the day. You can also rent scooters, bikes, and even book activities directly with them very convenient and well organized. In short, you can go with your eyes closed. We absolutely recommend it!

The location is close enough to the main street, but far enough that you don't hear it. The luxe hut was well set up, the outdoor bathroom was a brilliant experience. The breakfast was a great size and you can order it whenever suits. The gardens are beautifully designed and maintained. If you arrive late 'The Shack' restaurant across the road is a perfect option. We hired bikes for the full stay at AU$5 per day per bike. The private snorkelling trip they booked for us at AU$25 per person was one of the best experiences. I would thoroughly recommend this accomodation for a couple, group of friends or family with older children who can stay in their own room. Lots of warungs on the same street that have local and western food options at great quality and price. Be sure to try the donuts on the corner on the same street. We weren't too bothered by the call to prayer. You hear it and then go back to sleep. It's quite nice during the day, and you find you tune out quickly anyway. Jit the manager and his team were so friendly and accomodating. To be greeted with 'welcome home' when you arrive back each day is lovely, as is the welcome drink.

If you can only cope with a firm mattress you may not love the bed. It's medium firmness. Just be aware that when messaging via booking.com you are talking with the owner who is in another country and does not pass on the message details to Jit the manager.

The staff always welcomed me home at the end of my day. And as I was leaving for the morning, they would always be cheerful and tell me to have a good day

A restaurant on site or maybe a few simple meal options for dinner. Although the restaurant across the road was great. Laundry was done around the corner by a local but staff were amazing at dropping it off for me. Maybe a minibar fridge in the room would have been a nice addition to the room.

Facilities were clean, great island vibe. Beautiful shared pool. Bikes available to hire. Basic breakfast. Ear buds provided.

Located near local village so loud noises from local machinery early in mornings. Be mindful gilli is a Muslim island and has call to prayer multiple times a day starting at about 4am. Guava garden is located close to a mosque but the call can be heard all around the island so it’s just part of the culture and experience.

The staff was very nice. The room had al the facilities needed: a big unit of drinkwater, an outside shower (under the stars), airco and windblower. Location is just outside the busy areas but very quiet. Pool very nice. Breakfast more than enough and tastefull. We didnt mind the mosque or the chickens (it’s a part of travelling).

We would like to have not only a flat sheet but also a duvet (the airco works so good we got cold haha).

Everything!!! The rooms are extremely clean, the breakfast is really vast and delicious, the staff were super friendly and attentive, and they provided complementary tea and coffee after 3 pm! Furthermore, the staff prepared a welcome decoration in the room for my boyfriend’s birthday and made it very special! We also loved that Guava Garden is very committed to sustainability. Finally there were a couple of pet cats around the property who also gave life to the place. Guava garden also offers bicycle rentals and many tours to choose the one that adapts better to your needs. Location is very centric and convenient. Near the port and close to the most beautiful beaches in the island.

As it is very close to a mosque you can hear the prayers throughout the day . However, the staff provide you with earplugs during the check-in which made the nights more quiet. Also, it is important to mention that the Gili islands are mainly Islamic so it is totally expected to hear the prayers.

Upon arrival, the customer service was already amazing and the room itself is so lovely, very spacious and clean. The pool was great and the location was awesome. Very close to the main area and beach and can easily rent bikes for a reasonable price and bike around the island. We also did a snorkel tour through them which was very smooth and easy and we absolutely loved this place, my favourite so far on my month long holiday. We got breakfast every morning and it was very good and lots of options to choose from. The workers are so very friendly and helpful.

Guava Garden is super closed from everything, the staff is amazingly friendly, welcoming & always available to help you, the pool is amazing and super clean, and the rooms are perfect. I was supposed to stay for 2 nights but I decided to extend my stay as I felt super good in here. I'd recommend this place to all my friends & relatives for sure.

Nothing. The only thing you need to know is that Guava Garden is located in the real Gili which means you will hear children, roosters & prayers made by the muezzin. But to be completely honest, I got used to it super quickly.

Do yourself a favor and book this place if you find it available! You’ll find beautiful lush vegetation, superb fragipani, and the most zen pool ever. My room was super clean (and serviced every day), with an amazing outdoor bathroom ( showering and looking up to the stars is v cool). The staff were so nice! Always smiling, always ready to help with anything, the absolute best! They make you breakfast every morning consisting of fresh fruit, fruit juice, eggs of your choice, coffee or tea and toast with butter and jam, which you can enjoy on your own little porch. It was a fantastic stay that I’ll always remember, and I hope to come back soon!
