The view from villa and the staff are super nice

The villa is kinda dilapidated...probably because ist an old establishment...need a little refurbish for the room and bathrooms

The staff were excellent, prompt, lovely and a joy. They helped us with a lot of things during our stay. Our villa was at the bottom of quite a few set of stairs, but the staff took care of our bags. Our private pool was beautiful and just really nice! Breakfast was tasty and was a definitely enough food. Our villa was tranquil and the nighttime lighting allowed us to use the pool at night as well. I loved this hotel and would definitely come back!

Our villa was at the bottom of some steps, so it was a very minor inconvenience during our stay. Our villa is also 2 levels, with outdoor stairs. I was a bit confused about the layout of the villa. The hotel is in a slightly harder to reach spot by foot with limited lighting. so you will need to take a taxi!

The villa exceeded our expectations, it was large, comfortable and private. We had everything we needed for our stay, with the bonus of the daily room cleaning and towel change service everyday. We even had a water tower in the kitchen so we didn't have to go out and buy bottled water everyday. The breakfast had lots of choices (both Indonesian and western food) with a lovely tropical fruit platter. The gym and spa services are a nice addition to the facilities.

We had a balinese massage on the first day which was fantastic but later during our stay I had a 'hot stone massage' however it was exactly the same as the balinese massage but using stones at some points moved along my body, when I asked why it wasnt like a normal hot stone massage the therapist said different technique, however when my partner came back from her 'medical massage' she had the exact same style as me. May be best to really specify between the services and make sure you are getting what you requested. Otherwise the massages and spa facilities were great.

Our villa was huge for two people, with ample room to relax. The bathroom and bathtub was massive. The resort grounds are beautifully kept, with the flowers and gardens bringing a lovely fresh vibe - great to return to after a long day adventuring in the busy areas. The pool in the villa was lovely - very private, clean & the view into the rainforest was beautiful. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, as well as all other staff we encountered during our stay. The breakfast options were great - portions were decent size and kept us fuelled throughout the day.

Whilst it was a great (unexpected) workout, the large amount of stairs down to the bottom villas would ideally have been made known at the time of booking particularly if someone has a disability/elderly/carrying extra weight. The resort itself is beautiful but is a decent taxi ride to get anywhere for the day - theres few shops and limited food options within walking distance. The room/villa we were in was older, with extensive renovations needed to get it to a 5 star rating for us (missing tiles, dated furnishings).

The staff, Gia and the other lovely lady were the nicest people I met during our 11 night stay in Bali. They upgraded us to a two bedroom villa which was immaculate and had the rainforest at the edge of the infinity pool (great for a skinny dip to get in touch with your own nature and that surrounding you!). There are steps to get to it, sure, but they are modern steps and MUCH easier to traverse than the giant leaps and bounds required at other rustic Ubud accomodation. You will be fitter by the end of your stay. The grounds are beautiful. We wish to return with a group of friends to make the most of the kitchen and living spaces that just ooze relaxation and cocktails. I went with my sister, and while we still had a great time, this place would be amazing for larger families and groups of friends if you appreciate peace and quiet. The area is nice with famous Jimbaran beach nearby (go by GoJek), but don't expect any retail shopping. There are 2 small Indo mart type shops walking distance that you can stock up with basics for self catering. I took the bedroom downstairs by the pool - this air con was the best in Bali! My sister was upstairs in the room connected to the lounge/kitchen and copped a lot more midday heat. It was lovely waking up every morning at Gending Kedis. Both bathrooms were open air and gorgeous with plants growing around you. Our room was private and no monkeys to worry about there, and unfortunatly did not spot the elusive Java Kingfisher that their restaurant is named after, Alcedo. There is some bird life there (a lot more compared to where else we went, as they seemed to have all been caged or eaten, even in Ubud!) at the pool and we saw no critters to speak of if you're worried about that. Don't hesitate, book this place and Gia will take extra good care of you :)

The continental breakfast could have been improved and looks very minimal on the plate. The bread came out 10 minutes before the rest so it's cold by the time you want to eat it with your eggs. Not the end of the world though as this is not the type of breakfast Balinese people eat themselves and thus, have not perfected it.

We had a 2 bedroom villa. It was very spacious with 2 en-suites. It was very clean. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Beautiful tropical gardens. The big pool by the restaurant is lovely. The restaurant served food from 7 am to 11 pm. Breakfast was very good, fruit followed by eggs,sausage,bacon and tomatoes or Indonesian dishes and croissants and pastries. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant a few times and enjoyed everything we had. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We liked everything.

We stayed in the 4 bedroom pool villa and absolutely loved our stay here. My husband and I stayed in the master bedroom upstairs which was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was a great size. The upstairs living area was huge with a well equipped kitchen if you wished to do your own cooking. All 3 of our kids had their own bedrooms with ensuites downstairs. We had breakfast each morning up in the restaurant and it was very plentiful with lots of options. The gardens leading down to the villas are lovely and tropical and also very well maintained. Fogging is done each Thursday to keep away insects. There are a couple of mini marts just outside of the villas which we found quite handy. The staff were very lovely and accommodating. We felt very safe here and would definitely stay here again if we returned to Jimbaran.

The staff is very helpful, the administrator Gia is the best!) We were checked-in early in the morning upon arrival and we were extremely grateful for this. The two-floor Villa Prinia was wonderful with jungle view, birds singing and the scent of frangipani. Spacious, clean, appliances and furniture are a little old, yes, but we did not cook, so we were not disturbed by this moment. Breakfast is good, but it could be more varied. + staff + villa + gym (large space, there were even yoga mats and small dumbbells, water in the cooler)

My hair turned green after the pool, so I have to fix it at the hairdresser. Ladies with blond hair, be careful and pin your hair up high. - green hair - old facilities (if you are going to cook) - our pool at the villa was pretty cold, but it's because of shadow

- great set-up - villas are large, very nice pool, great garden. Truly the genuine Bali vibe still there. Not as in Changu etc, where everything is small sized gardens and too modern.

- it needs some proper maintenance. Its somewhat worn out, and with some work it can be brought to good standard again. Its in line with the price though…..
