The 3 bed villa was beautiful. We had an issue with the aircon in one room but it got fixed immediately. The staff were amazing, and the level of service was so good. The what’s app butler group was very useful.

There is (or was) a gorgeous view from the shared pool/bar area. But some extensive building works are happening right in front of the hotel, which block most of the view. (And would be very loud for anyone using that pool/the bar). Luckily we had an amazing unobstructed view from our villa, and we couldn’t hear any of the construction noise. For the price per night for the villa I would also expect breakfast to be included, whether you book direct or through a 3rd party like booking.com. Also a welcome drink would be a nice touch.

The staff were exceedingly friendly, polite and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The use of a WhatsApp group for us to individually communicate with the staff was extremely effective, ensuring that all requests were promptly dealt with. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with an excellent view from the hills to the sea.

There is a lot of building and development going on in Bali and the land neighbouring Hidden Hills was being built on while we stayed (July 2025). There was unavoidable noise as a result an the site workers could see into our garden and pool area.

The location was magnificent, staff incredibly helpful. There is a sommelier onsite and wonderful, extensive wine choices available. Villa was amazing, spacious, all 3 bedrooms had separate bathrooms with a private pool. Restaurant very upmarket, good menu. Breakfast could be taken in the restaurant or delivered to the Villa, at no extra cost.

Hidden Hills Villas would have received an 11/10 except unfortunately, beyond their control, there was construction work across the lane. Which was seven days a week, early in the morning and occasionally into the night time. There are many stairs to both accommodation and restaurant, with no railings.

One of the finest properties we stayed in Bali. The staff are so nice and friendly! Loved their service and hospitality. We had the ocean view villa which had great views and amazing balcony/garden. The location is great too although a lot of construction is going on around and it’s not on the main road. Their food is really nice. They make communication very easy by having WhatsApp group chats. Almost in central Uluwatu, easy to get cabs and bikes. The room was amazing! So spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful too! Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a great hotel in Uluwatu. They even left us notes and small details were taken care of everyday.

A lot of stairs going to the rooms and the hotel. No lifts. Lizards and insects around but that’s ok.

the villa provides an amazing view from the room as well as from the infinity pool which was the perfect temperature. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and went above and beyond for us. They created a WhatsApp chat for our villa so we could text them at any time with any requests from organising us transport to getting us beach towels, ordering cocktails to our room and carrying our luggage around.

the menu at the hotel is pricey so recommend eating at local cafes etc

The location and gorgeous views were beyond what I could have expected. Even better than the photos! I booked an ocean view room and ordered room service just so I could sit outside in the private space and admire the views. Risma and the Butler team were incredibly friendly and accommodating, checking in daily via WhatsApp and immediately responsive to any requests. They provided me local recommendations and reservations in advance of my arrival. Location was very convenient, 15 min ride from all of the beaches and restaurants I wanted to visit.

The staff were so attentive I almost felt bad! But nothing I would change the stay was absolutely perfect

Stunning rooms, views, excellent facilities, delicious food offerings and a remarkable wine list. The service and care of the team felt very genuine and heartwarming. Thoughtful gestures and caring interactions from and with each team member during my stay. It feels like each one of you is proud and very happy to be part of this establishment. The staff were all so friendly. We stayed in a studio villa Tulum . It was a beautiful room

For what we paid I don’t think it was really worth it when I compared prices to other places. There was just the 2 of us, I think if you were a bigger group and had a villa it would be perfect. There was never anyone around that communal pool and when we came home in the evenings it was closed at 17:30. So basically we just used our room to sleep. The room was beautiful, but there was no bath which coming from Ubud and Seminyak it was a disappointment. We are in one night and it was very nice but again no atmosphere , just 2 and 2 others. We went out for breakfast every morning. I felt because we didn’t have a villa we were less important.

The villas are amazing. Well decorated. The bathroom is one of the nicest we have seen. The view on the island is breathtaking. The hotel is close to restaurants, yoga center (a few minutes/dollars in a Grab taxi) but in a quite area. We also liked the hotel recommendation for activities: Sunday beach club, Singlefin bar, Gooseberry restaurant, Our restaurant, Kacak fire dances at the Uluwatu temple were all highlight of the trip. The hotel restaurant is very nice too for dinner, cocktails were a highlight and we loved ordering breakfast to eat in the privacy of our villa terrace with the view.
