We LOVED our stay here. The hotel is so beautifully built and with all the greenery around it and all the antique gorgeous furniture pieces and art, its a stunning place. Everywhere you look there is something to admire. Once you step into the hotel you are transported into this beautiful peaceful environment that its hard to imagine that you are in such a busy place. The bedrooms are beautiful and a generous size, the bathroom is ok (has a bathtub which I personally don't like) We ate a few meals at the hotel restaurant and they have a fantastic chef, so highly recommend that. We really enjoyed the pool here, great location of pool given all rooms around it so its never a far walk from your room. The staff were wonderful, always helpful and super friendly. We will definitely come back and stay here again next trip to Bali.

Location of the hotel is not totally ideal. Its a short walk to the amazing seafood restaurants on the beach in Jimbaran but apart from that , there is nothing really right outside the hotel. We are a family of 5 so had to catch a taxi to go to the markets and shops generally. But that really is the only downside that you are not able to walk to anywhere apart from the beach. Having said every time we needed a taxi, the hotel would call for one which came within 5 mins and really going somewhere else didn't take more than 20-30mins, so all in all location didn't worry us that much but thought would mention it if you hoping for lots of activity right outside the hotel like in other areas.

The Puri Bambu property is gorgeous - the gardens, lovely Asian antique furnishings and grounds are exceptional. We loved the pool, surrounded by orchids and lush plants. Our superb room was spacious and clean with a great shower in the bathroom. Breakfast under a large traditional pavilion was great. This hotel is really special!

The WIFI was not secure.

Architectures and atmosphere was beautiful. Rooms are a little outdated but fine.

I got the feeling that the staff gave up caring. They were polite, but also somehow absent. I was really unlucky with the food: had 1 dinner there and 2-3 hours later I felt sick and had to throw up.

A charming and peaceful hotel. Good sized room, clean and comfortable. The water in the shower took a while to get hot (I don't like wasting water) but that's a small fault. Lovely pool, and garden areas well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh fruit and freshly cooked foods, and lunch and dinner menu was good. Staff were very pleasant. 5 minutes walk to beach area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants selling freshly cooked foods and all very well priced. Would stay here again if in the Jimbaran area.

Could do with more umbrellas around the pool as there is little shelter from the sun.

Built 35 years ago, traditional style features, gardens and decor. Amazing tropical garden featuring orchids and stag-head ferns. The pool is well shaded. Outside dinner area for breakfast. Rooms are simple and air conditioning is excellent. The location was great, hidden from “humbugging” close enough to the beach and restaurants. This is an excellent budget hotel.

As the tropical weather can be quite harsh, the property could do with a little maintenance.

Beautiful hotel and pool. The restaurant was great and really good value for money. Jimbaran does not have many options other than seafood restaurants and as a vegetarian the hotel met my needs. 24/7 coffee and water available. Staff were lovely and massage therapist was much better and cheaper than what you would find in Kuta

The bed was really hard. Found it difficult to sleep in and when I did sleep I woke feeling stiff and bruised. Located on a narrow rd with rubbish everywhere and no pavements. Hard to walk along with traffic. I also found Jimbaran disappointing with little to do. Beach had a lot of rubbish and no shops or bars.

Lovely and friendly staff, great room and nice pool. They have some great vintage furniture all over the place, and some great display pieces in the lobby. The food was excellent and good value for money. Short walk to the beach where there are some really good restaurants

Some things could do with a little bit of maintenance, the drains in the bathroom gurgled a bit so they'll need clearing out soon. I forgot to mention this at checkout so hopefully they read this 😊

This is a delightful older style hotel full of antiques and lovely wood carving. Beautiful gardens. Rooms are simple but comfortable. I enjoyed having a hot bath. We stayed to go to the visa office at Benoa Square. Also only 5 minutes walk to Jimbaran Beach.

A kettle and larger water bottles in the rooms would make it perfect. But water refills and tea/coffee available free in the restaurant.

Beautiful old traditional Balinese Hotel with immaculate lush gardens and lovely big pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice and the complimentary tea, coffee and water in the outdoor dining area was a real bonus. Location is fabulous, only 10 minutes to the International airport. We will be back!

Everything was perfect.

This was my favourite hotel. I loved its old worldy charm. The high ceilings and spacious rooms with a solid desk, cane lounge and comfortable solid wooden bed. Every where you looked in this hotel you found something special, a statue, a flower opening , a woodcarving, a dragonfly in the quiet gardens. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful . The breakfast and menu was good with lots of chive. I enjoyed the pool and having access to drinking water and tea and coffee whenever we wanted it.

If you were relying totally on hotel wifi sometimes you had to go to the lobby for best reception. It was quiet when we were there and we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Puri Bambu. Pauline and Glen
