We stayed in the superior king suite and it was the perfect space for us to rest and relax after a long flight. The hotel is super calm and pretty, especially during the night. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the stay, simple and delicious. The hotel manager was great and the staff was in general really nice to our kids and made us feel super comfortable.

As other people mentioned in the comments, the location is not necessarily the best if you want to go explore (without a bike/scooter). That was not the purpose of our stay, and it worked perfectly for us to rely on grab to go to the beach or just walk to the very good cafe down the street (Oku).

The place is exactly as seen in the pictures. The layout of the place and the surroundings is well thought out and being here gives you pleasant emotions. It is a pleasant place to stay. The staff is responsive and helpful. There is a restaurant on site, and the food is delicious, and the prices are friendly. Coffee and coffee drinks are good. Being in Uluwatu, I can definitely recommend this place as a very good accommodation. The surrounding beaches are 15-30 min. away by bike.

This may not be a minus, but the hotel could think about - beach towels and more choice when it comes to renting bike.

Our stay at the hotel was mostly pleasant, and we were ready to leave a good review until the check-out experience spoiled it. Upon arrival, we asked to book a bike for one day—Friday—since we planned to be out on a tour all day Thursday. When signing the agreement, the staff member insisted on filling in the dates and handed me the key. Just to be sure, I returned a minute later to confirm that we only needed the bike for one day, showing her the calendar. She nodded and assured me it was fine. However, at check-out, we were charged for two days of bike hire. Despite our efforts to explain, they insisted on the two-day charge. This felt like a very dishonest encounter and left a bad impression. It's a shame because, apart from this issue (and a few minor things like some non-functional power points), our stay was otherwise enjoyable.

I loved this property. The layout of the room with high ceilings and the nice decoration were a highlight for me. Very comfortable bed, nice little kitchen. The pool was clean, with good depth with vegetation all around with a swim-up bar. They offer 24-hour co-working and the restaurant is also open 24-hours. I really like the food, the coffee and breakfast. Maria, the manager, is excellent, very attentive, extremely pro-active and helpful. We mainly stayed in the hotel, so can't comment much about the surroundings as only went to the nearby supermarket which was AUD2.00 one way by Gojek.

We had an issue with the bathtub and the pop-up drain stopper would not hold, so the hotel had to have a worker come and fix it but it was just temporary so it made it difficult for us to use it. Clogged drain in the bathroom would hold water in the shower.

Great place to stay overall! We lived the design of the room, and the way the whole place is accessible to the pool. It’s in a great location for lots of good eateries too. Staff were excellent, friendly & very welcoming.

Our bathroom definitely wasn’t in the best shape and needs a re-vamp. It smelled like mold, but still a nice design! Some more breakfast options would’ve been good too - but overall we loved our stay here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We like the workspace area a lot.

Guests staying next door were noisy. Even though we warned them, they didn’t listen and kept making noises because they were drunk. The hotel staff wasn’t on side and there was nobody to take care of the situation. So you are on your own if there is any problem you have at night. Even the security was loud and singing a song in the middle of the night.

We liked our staying at Nagara. I expected the room to be worse, but in fact it was better. It's not easy to find a good hotel in uluwatu for these money. we were lucky to find it. The room is spacious, stylish, well-kept area, delicious breakfast, pleasant staff.

in the first room the door was constantly stuck, and we slept with the open door 2 nights. because at night, when we came back, it broke down, there was no one to fix it. But the staff provided another room

Nagara is my home in Bali. I have been at Nagara many times and it stays my first choice. I love the design of this little boutique hotel and Maria, German, and all the staff make their best to make you feel home from dawn till dusk, and this is priceless. I love my nasi-goreng for breakfast, and the restaurant offers a very good menu. Scooter for rent available at the property. Nagara has something special, and I am always looking forward to come back. Recommended! Ps If you need to work every now and then, wifi is super fast and the ambience perfect.

Nothing that the staff can't address promptly.

I recently visited twice Nagara, the first time for 2,5 weeks and then after a trip 1 more week. I stayed in the queen room, then in the junior suite, which is larger and worth the extra value. Both room were very nice and comfortable indeed. The staff is very kind and always ready to help. The hotel is new and very cosy, my stay was definitely great. Recommended, I would definitely come back.

My stay was overall great, nothing wrong to mention.

We arrived at 7pm tired and hungry. Fortunately the restaurant was still open! The staff was very friendly and inviting. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a very delicious dinner and a good sleep :) the rooms are sound proofed quite well too, so the roosters didn't wake us up lol. After a hot shower we went for breakfast, which was included in the price of our room and it was very tasty and filling! Later we went for a swim which was nice. The pool was clean and the water was refreshing. We only stayed 1 night, I think if you stayed longer you'd need a scooter or some mode of transportation, because it's located rather remotely.
