I was in different hotels, villas, bungalows. I can't even find words to describe my impressions of staying in this wonderful house. Friends, this is the best thing that can happen to you in Bali, honestly. great staff, kind people. It was here that I was able to entrust the washing of things made of delicate fabrics, which I really love and cherish. I have an important hobby for my soul - I love to cook. It was in this house that I had the opportunity to enjoy my hobby to the fullest: the kitchen is perfect for reading, there are all the necessary appliances for cooking. The yard is very clean and well maintained. The street is quiet and calm, no noise. In the morning you can go out and enjoy meditation, yoga, just collect your thoughts and walk barefoot on the grass. But, the best thing that happened to me on the island was Opi. I'm not exaggerating. Opi is the doctor of the soul. This is a smart, loyal, true friend. I will remember him all my life. Many thanks to the owner of this wonderful house, Desi, for organizing the space in such a way that it is impossible to find a single reason why you would not fall in love with this house.

I loved everything about my stay! Cozy rooms with comfortable beds. Everything was very clean (including pillows and bedding). Very thoughtful host- you have your own fridge with freezer, a sink and even your own water to drink from inside of your room. A lot of stuff that just makes sense like every room having their own umbrella on the porch in case it rains. Mosquito spray is also provided. WiFi is a 10/10. There’s a shared kitchen area you can use that includes a coffee machine. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Desi, the owner, is the sweetest person. I will definitely return :)

This felt like my Bali home away from home - highly recommend esp. for longer stays. This will be one of the best value for money properties in Uluwatu for sure (I spent quite some time looking at that). The room itself was one of the nicest I've got in Bali (and I've been almost everywhere :) ), very clean and comfortable. You get loooads of bottled water in the room - which is so nice. The garden and space outside is lovely. Very quiet - which I loved. You also get a kitchen you can use with a big table, ideal for working. The staff are lovely - although not always around. I did laundry there too, and it was one of the favourite eveeer.

Nothing much I didn't like. It's not a very sociable place - but I wasn't looking for that. The seating at the big kitchen table wasn't super comfortable.

Beautiful open area, lots of seating spaces, floating nests and a bed hanging in the trees ! Located on a really quiet back street but very close to the main road that connects to the beaches.. so it was very peaceful. The kitchen is amazing, the level of organisation and cleanliness is next level. There is a coffee machine, a supply of drinking water and all of the kitchen equipment you need.. great value for money. Rooms are neat and tidy

Honestly this has nothing to do with the property, but just advice; the rooms are a bit small for 2 people with a good amount of luggage.. not really anywhere to store things or a big suitcase. For long term it might be a bit squishy

The position is perfect, nearby Dreamland beach (put the location Dreamland Parking Area which is 8min from the house, instead of putting dreamland beach which will double the distance/time) and nearby Balangan Beach! You can also reach other attractions quite fast with a scooter! The house offers a shared kitchen and dining area therefore if you want to order something after an entire day out, you can eat it in a cozy environment! The rooms are not big but comfortable. They offer a laundry service on site, which is quite nice as well! The garden is very nice and you can chill on the hanging chairs! Nearby you can find very nice restaurants, our favourite one is Ayus food from the heart, for breakfast and lunch!!! We had a very nice time and had some lovely chats with the neighbors of the other rooms! We will definitely come back!

This is not a negative thing, since it is quite a normal thing in Bali: the neighbors around thee property own 2-3 roosters which you can imagine have their own wake up time, so if you are a light sleeper like me, I recommend you putting some earplugs as soon as you go to bed :) this thing didn’t bothered our sleep with the earplugs!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The garden is amazing, so many places to take a breather and admire the beauty of it. The kitchen has everything you need, I enjoyed many dinners and met lots of other travellers in that space and the absolute highlight was Opi. He is the sweetest dog and would follow me everywhere. I highly recommend staying here and experiencing the love and care that has been put into The Bali Boarding House.

I stayed here for around a month. Perfect for me as it is really in the center of Bukit. Close to everywhere by motorbike and also quiet in the little street. The room is clean but not the biggest in Bali for sure. But you will spend very little time in it since the yard is just perfect for hang out. No mosquitos and with the breeze, I had so many good moments there with the sunshine. Full kitchen and free coffee is definitely a plus. And all staffs are helpful and willing to help you with your questions. In short, not a villa with swimming pool but a nice little home with lots of greens.

Desi and the staff here are so lovely and kind! I got pretty sick my first night, and after I had let Desi know they came to check on me and bring me a few things to make me more comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The place itself is really nice, big communal areas that are clean and well maintained , and the rooms were exceptionally clean too. The location is about 20mins on a scooter to bingin beach, which is pretty good considering the price of rooms. There is also a main road, with plenty of places to eat + grocery store, about a 5min walk from the Bali Boarding house.

Where shall I start…. A truly special place. If I would stay for longterm in Bali/Uluwatu, this is the place I would choose! The area of the homestay is perfect, it is quiet but all the stuff to do in Uluwatu is easily reachable by scooter. The room is perfect, comfy bed, fridge, all is clean, nice bathroom. The garden and the outdoor kitchen are an absolute highlight! Everything is made so lovely and the staff takes care of the homestay so well. Also the staff is so lovely, helping and make you feel at home! I can just say: Thank you thank you thank you! You made our last days of our journey perfect. If I come back to Uluwatu one day, I will definitely know where I will stay ♥️

We had a great stay at the Boarding house! The garden-kitchen area is amazing, you can make your own food, and chill in the garden. It’s also very quiet at night, because it’s a bit out of the way from the noisy street. The room was big enough for 2 people, there was drinkable water and fridge inside the room. We also rented a scooter there for a reasonable price to go to Uluwatu Temple and Padang Padang beach. Definitely recommend this place for a cozy and quiet stay!
