Many of the facilities that were said to be available were not. This is concerning when the property is isolated, as it is at Scar Reef. Things like ‘driver available’ when we found there wasn’t a car for use at all, many things were not on the menu, no water working and the staff did not tell new guests until they had already gone up to their room, and then the guests had to come back to reception to ask about the water, when they could have already been told there was no running water and offered a discount. They need to refresh their snorkelling gear, as there is only one mask available. Yes, it is a beautiful ‘out of the way yet on the beach’ accom, but the owners have ‘abandoned’ the lovely staff who work best with what they have.

The position was excellent, with beautiful sunsets, clear water, and friendly people everywhere! This Beach Lodge is very nice, with friendly staff. Our room was a family room with 3 big beds, very plush. Imam is an attentive manager. Fahrizal is kind and very helpful in customer service. The new guy Jumahir is friendly and helpful, an asset to their team. Adi, the gardener, is always smiling, a pleasure to have around.

It had lovely, partly frosted glass doors that looked ultra modern but unfortunately let in too much light when other guests left their balcony lights on. Apparently, other guests complained about privacy due to the clear glass at the top and bottom.

Beautiful property on a stunning beach. The building has a great design and feel to it. Surrounded by coconut trees and view opens out onto the beach. Modern clean rooms with a fresh design. Ocean suit upstairs with a great patio with a view. Very comfy bed. Efficient AC, plus a ceiling fan (we love this combo, tho usually simply opt for fan only, as in June is not humid). Breaky; menu offers Continental, American, English and Indonesian options. But we were told only Continental was available. So, a choice of pancakes or bread basket, plus fruit plate & a Lombok coffee.

Bad odour in bathroom; drains need cleaning. Staff were pleasant, though not super friendly or proactive.

The location and the staff made this such a great place to be. The room and facilities were great but the people made the difference.

They already know it but upgrading to starlink will help with the local connectivity. Not a must have and like I said they already know.

Very nice and quiet place with nice beach. The accomodation was really good and right on the beach, we saw the sea from our bed. The food in the restaurant was very good. Staff was fiendly and nice. The place needs some improvements and then it will be a paradise.

At the time we were there the restaurant had a problem with food supplies, so the menu was quite limited. We did not get the room we were promised - instead of three beds we have two, this would not be a problem in case of normal extra-bed. But the extra bed was really small and narrow mattress (like from the sunbed) ... The breakfast included in the room rate are only pancakes with fresh fruit - good but not suitable for longer stay. Other beakfast options you have to order from restaurant menu and is not included in the price. The stairs to the beach were broken. The wifi was really poor.

The staff are amazing. The cleaning was exceptional. The only negative was the depleted food supplies and beer, as it was not being delivered. The staff were very apologetic and quite embarrassed. I suppose being an island and having to rely on supplies from the mainland makes it difficult. Although it did not detract from our stay. We would definitely return to Myamo Beach Lodge. Surf was great every day for my husband. A quick boat ride out for 50,000 rupiah. Much thanks to the staff 😀 Anne-Marie

Only the items of food in short supply, but that was ok..

The staff were so kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Special shout out to imham and agung. They made us and our children feel very special. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed the kayak, trip to waterfall and transport. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was good value for money.

Everything was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. Only feedback we have is re kitchen. The food took a long time to prepare and often what we had ordered was not available, but we wouldn't find out until a while later, sometimes the wrong thing was served. Not a big deal but the only feedback we have is that the chef / cook could communicate a bit better, or do some work to speed up their work process? Also the drivers would beep the horn / rev engine loudly in the car park (which was right outside our room) once at 2am ish and another time at 5.30.

We were fortunate to experience the beauty of Myamo Resort in Sumbawa, nestled right on the beachfront, offering breathtaking views of the beach, ocean, and hills. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my specific dietary needs, and the entire resort was impeccably clean. We also formed a wonderful connection with the staff, who not only provided excellent service but also shared valuable recommendations for local places to visit and engaged us in enjoyable conversations.

The location is just stunning. This may be the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. And the staff it’s absolute best.

The bathroom smelled, and the internet was awful. For remote workers that’s a problem. Especially in days of Starlink, that shouldn’t happen.

Maybe the only thing to say is the breakfast too much expensive maybe it should be less nearly half and bule would take it there or else everything was clean peaceful and perfect
