Great location with basic but comfortable rooms and facilities. We used this hotel as a base to travel which was perfect due to the location.

Some of the guests that stayed there just need to be more patient, some rude people staying there wanting 5 star service at a 3 star hotel. This has nothing to do with the staff or hotel. Some guests just need to relax and enjoy the experience and slooow down. It's Bali time ⏲

Location was great!! Facilities were great Price for stay was affordable Breakfast not worth including in your stay. Go out to eat is more worth your money. Only a couple of the staff made the effort to get to know us, mostly because of the language barrier.

Wifi wasn’t great. food wasn’t great, popcorn chicken was probably the best menu item. Breakfast and room service had different breakfast options. Breakfast came cold 4 of 8 days of my stay, Forgotten about 2x when at restaurant breakfast. Ended up cancelling our meals. Breakfast not worth including into your stay. staff wouldn’t allow us to stay in the lobby area for a quiet game of cards, It was the only space to fit more than 2 people.

I loved the location. Easy walking distance to shops and beach! It was a very clean little hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating, I had my 2 and half year old daughter with me, the staff were so sweet and kind. A special mention to the girls; Dila, Dayu, Astri, Kris, Dyah, and Esik… above and beyond care from these ladies! Oh and don’t forget to say Hi to Sally on the corner. Very handy to have a cheap laundromat next door! As well as bike hire, and massage up the same little alley.

If you’re planning on a place to get your tan on, this isn’t the spot. The way the building is positioned the sun is only over the pool for about 4 hours of the day. There are also only 4 sun beds, so good luck getting a spot! The pool is VERY deep also. The same depth all the way across. The breakfast wasn’t all that great. Didn’t have a lot of variety. But had what you’d want to fill you up. It’s definitely value for money if you’re after a cheap but still with that luxury feel to it. It’s quiet, safe and tucked away from traffic and noise. Age range.. I wouldn’t recommend it to 18-30yrolds … it’s very much a 40yr+ that commonly book to stay here

I came to Fourteen Roses Beach hotel with my friend for 16 nights and we had the most amazing experience. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing and they took very good care of us. I’d like to give a big shout out to Made, AstRi , Dayu, Adi, Cahya and Angus. If it wasn’t for them our experience wouldn’t as been as wonderful as it was. They upgraded our room very fast and officiant when our aircon wasn’t working in our first room. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Bali/Legian to stay at Fourteen roses beach hotel. Love Lia & Serena 🩷🎀

This was one of the loveliest hotel stays I've ever had — I had a room for 17 days! The staff (in every role) are the sweetest and most accommodating, always with genuine smiles and kindness. They are available to help you book rides using their shuttle service which I did use to get to the airport when leaving and was a breeze, and answer any questions. The grounds are gorgeous. The pool looked impeccably clean (I didn't get to use it as I freshly tattooed). The room was lovely and well kept, warm shower, mini-fridge, ample storage, and clean. They provide water. The outdoor seating area was an amazing place to rest during a downpour. If I return to Bali and am in the Kuta area I will no doubt stay here again!

The light switches are confusing as they must be set just right in three places to turn off/on where you like — I think an instruction printout added to the very useful handbook would be great! The WiFi is geo-fenced so you must login in every time you return to the hotel.

The staff were beautiful at fourteen roses Chris was so lovely!! We loved the breakfast got to pick from menu so was made fresh for you each morning once you ordered what you would like but there was also simply options that was in ‘buffet style’ (cakes, toast, fruit, cereal, juice, tea, coffee). We had a pool side room so we loved it very much

There are no lifts or ramps so was difficult if on higher level to get bags/ suitcases up the stairs, also would say doesn’t accommodate very well for wheelchair accessibility. Place was also down slight alley to get to hotel entrance with minimal light and sercurity so would be a bit ‘dodge’ going in dark/ late at night

The staff are definitely what made my stay fantastic. Can't say enough good things about Astri, Kris, Dayu, Sepya, Dwi, Agus, Coma, Panji, Cahya. Hope I got the spelling correct. All the rooms are based around the pool. I was in a pool garden room next to the restaurant and once or twice I was woken by the clinging of cutlery when the team was setting up in the mornings. The rooms are huge and cleaned exceptionally well by Dwi. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable that I've slept in. The air con works very well. Breakfast was a small buffet style meal. With four choices of hot food, eggs cooked how you like, one ceral, some pastries and fruit. Top value for money.

Staff and cleanliness were the standout.

The location was phenomenal. It was a little oasis from the hustle and bustle. The beds and pillows were fantastic.

I think the addition of shower curtains to the bathroom and blackout curtains for downstairs pool access rooms would make a great addition.

Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel has become my go-to destination in Bali—this is my fourth visit since October 2025, and every stay has been just as enjoyable as the last! The hotel continues to impress with its amazing amenities, from the beautiful pool to the relaxing atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The location is absolutely perfect—whether you’re in the mood for delicious local food, a rejuvenating massage, or vibrant entertainment, everything is just a short walk away. But what truly makes this hotel special is the incredible staff. I want to give a special shoutout to Cahya and Fenny at reception—they are warm, welcoming, and always go the extra mile to make sure guests feel at home. Highly, highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait for my next visit!

The location was a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk to a nearby mall and it was some art markets as well. The rooms were great and the balcony overlooking the pool was very peaceful. The pool was beautiful and the breakfast was ala carte mostly but everything we tried was yummy. It was very comfortable and the distance from the Main Street meant it was quiet as well.

The bathroom was outdated, the shower head was too low and it needs to be repaired as water was coming from both the shower head and tap. The water was not heated unless we specifically called and asked for it. We had room cleaning done everyday but they didn’t refill our hand wash or change our cups which got ants. Housekeeping was slow and we had to call multiple times to get the hand wash refilled or get the cups replaced. The road towards the hotel was narrow so several taxis and grabs could not come towards it and we would need to walk towards the Main Street.
