Stayed here a couple of times, staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is kept clean. The restaurant shows both the NRL and AFL and the food is good and very reasonably priced. Before I checked out I accidently broke a very small piece of crockery that held the satchels of coffee etc. They charged me around $7.00, I wasn't concerned about the charge, but if I was the manager I would not have charged a good returning customer for this trivial thing.

I loved the cleanliness of the rooms the room attendants are amazing at what they do. As Bali is hot, I found the pool the pool to be a welcome relief from the heat. There was always a happy attendant there to bring towels, drinks and food.

Continental breakfast with good variety. Staff are in general quite nice and helpful. There’s the possibility to do a late check-out for an extra fee (300k). Nice swimming pool area. Room was very comfy. Located in the heart of Kuta/Legian.

I booked a room with “Pool view” (and not “City view”) because I explicitly wanted to avoid being close to the street (I had read some reviews about the hotel being located in a very busy street and being quite noisy). This was not enough in the end: our balcony was towards the pool, but our door was towards an open corridor overlooking the busy street. The door had 0 noise cancellation. Make sure you specify you want a “quiet” room.

The rooms are clean and I love the balcony overlooking the pool, the rooms have heaps of storage space to keep your things organised. The pool is the perfect temperature and has a pool side bar, the staff are all fabulous and location is perfect. Price wise, you can’t get better value. 300m walk to beach and Poppies II. Money exchange, Circle K, restaurants and laundry lady right across the street. Airport transfers through the hotel are a reasonable price at 200K IDR each way. Breakfast is the same everyday but they do have an egg station and the coffee machine is similar to the ones at Australian 7/11 service stations.

10/10 for me, nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our stay here the location was perfect in the heart of main area for shopping and dining out. The room was always kept sparking clean and staff always friendly and go out of their way to help and meet any request. We loved that the pool water was always clean and that there were pool noodles and pool rings available for guests to use. Menu items were very reasonably priced which meant that we could eat at the resturant and enjoy the live entertainment in the evening when it was on.

Grand La Walon staff are amazing, who are so inclusive and always have a smile on their face. Grand La Walon is our first choice for accommodation when holidaying in beautiful Bali. Outstanding value for money, great sized, comfortable clean rooms, cold quiet air con, and room service available from their great restaurant downstairs. Good sized pool, where you can have icy cold drinks and tasty food pool side on your sun lounge. Words can only say so much, We have recommended the Grand La Walon to family and friends, and many have stayed their and love it.

Staff were super kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is in great condition (for the price). Clean, spacious rooms; great air conditioning in rooms; comfortable bed; good refrigerator; quiet; peaceful and comfortable balcony. Excellent location... I think there were at least 50+ restaurants of all different varieties and a dozen corner shops all within a 10-15 minute walk. Please keep your prices humble and I don't think you will ever have any trouble booking out. I will definitely stay here again if I get a chance to come back to Bali and prices stay affordable. Matur Suksma wonderful team!!! :-) *One more thing: being English speaking I personally had no idea I could watch TV. I turned on the TV for the heck of it one night and was pretty thrilled to see there is a solid cable package with major English-speaking news channels, premium HBO movie channels, and some fun local channels with cooking. I was rarely in the room, but when the sun sets at 6:15, that was an awesome surprise and comforting to have to end a late day sometimes ☺️

Location was great …finally scored a ground floor as we requested after 6 nights as requested when booked around 8 months earlier…luv the fact that Norman comes to chat with everyone …it was my sisters birthday and they came out at breakfast with cake and sung to her …thank you …staff were all great …

We had no hot water in ground floor room ..unless we let it run for 15 minutes whilst having a coldie ….finally reported it and it was gonna get looked at …

The location was central to all shopping areas I like to visit. The restaurant had a huge variety to choose from and was well priced. The room had every thing I needed for a short stay.

They were very accommodating considering my 1:00 a.m. arrival. Check-in was easy. Wish I'd had time to enjoy the pool and restaurant. Super lovely staff. Nice bed, sheets, shower. Sweet balcony overlooking the pool. Decent internet. Two bottles of complimentary water. Fridge stocked with reasonably priced drinks.

This is a 97-room hotel that had only 17 guests (off season), including me the night I arrived. The otherwise lovely room was super musty (and I'm not that fussy). I think some investment in space station quality Febreeze would help a better first impression. They were over-the-top responsive when I mentioned the smell, and wanted to spray something while I was there.
