Super clean, cosy bungalows. Excellent staff and a great location to explore Nusa Penida. Pool is a nice addition to enjoy after a busy day exploring the island on a scooter.

If your neighbours are on a different sleep schedule, you may be woken up earlier than planned. We were woken up by the next door TV on the other side of the wall, and TikTok videos coming from the front. Not necessarily the fault of the accommodation, but in a beautiful place like Asoka I don’t think TVs are needed.

Friendly staff, basic but yummy breakfast and pol was a definite highlight (jungle oasis)

More supply of hot water in the shower, but was not a big issue since it’s so hot

Large, comfortable room with patio equipped with kettle, tea & coffee. 5 bungalows beautifully nestled inna small, yet lush tropical garden with pool and sun-beds. There is also a shared kitchen close by the pool, with toilet. Kind staff always available. Good breakfast (a large plate of fruit with a choice of eggs, and a glass of fresh orange juice) Pay cash or by card. My A/C had a little leak that was fixed in no time as soon as I signaled it. Location is perfect to me: hidden at the entry of the forest, quiet and away from the noise, yet walking distance to good restaurants like Vegan Soul Cafe, Coco Penida, Penida Colada, etc. Walking distance to a mart, scooter rental shops, laundry, and Penida Pantry (should you fancy some organic products), and several dive and freedive centres.

Nothing. I really enjoyed my stay.

Staff were really friendly. They let us use their fridge for our almond milk. Breakfast was lovely. Shared kitchen area and free water. Room was a good size for all our travel bags and spacious bathroom. Everything we needed to feel at home for the week thank you

The walls are a little thin the place is quite but behind bungalow 4 you can hear the dog, chicken and people who live there on occasion but it was never at an early or late time so it didn’t affect us

Very tidy, lovely staff, great location! We stayed for two nights and rented a scooter as well. Short ride to all of the nice restaurants, close to the beach while still feeling removed. The best wifi and cleanest bathroom of any of the places we’ve stayed so far!

Slightly noisy at night with dogs and roosters but got used to it by the second night and wouldn’t let it stop us from coming back!

Nice pool surrounded by lovely gardens. Everything was clean, comfortable bed. Sweet little bungalows. Close to the beach but far enough away to be quiet. Friendly helpful staff.

The goldfish pond was in the sun and only had 2 inches of water, I asked the host if he could top it up, which he promptly did , the fish were noticeably energised! Just a small thing, but I'm a big animal lover.

The room is pretty spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was tasty and the staff was very friendly. They really helped us out by taking us to a morning dive trip when our taxi driver didn't show up last-minute. Value for money is very good.

The bathrooms are spacious but a little bit murky. Cleanliness was okay but not great. Location is a bit remote, which is okay if you're renting a scooter (which I would advise against given the quality of the roads) but more of a negative when you have to take a taxi, because taxis on Penida are expensive as heck.

Quiet, peaceful location, away from a lot of the street noise, but close enough to walk to cafes etc. Wayan, family and staff were very helpful. The air conditioning was a huge relief for sleeping at night!

The rooms were a bit dark.

Clean room with incredibly comfortable bedding, delicious breakfast and beautiful pool area. I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Great value for money.

There was some noise from other guests and neighbouring homes during the evening.

I really enjoyed my stay at the cottage. It was clean and comfortable, with a lovely garden where I could relax in peace and quiet. The town center was also quite close, which was very convenient.
