We really enjoyed our stay at Unicorn Bungalow. It was a very quiet and relaxing spot for returning after diving. The staff were very friendly and arranged an early breakfast for us every day before we went diving. The bed was comfortable and they asked each day if we wanted our room cleaned with fresh towels. The view of the ocean from the communal area was beautiful.

Slight damp smell in the bathroom and not very good water pressure (but that is just island life)!

The staff are very friendly and they helped me with directions, recommendations and arranging transport. The place is really comfortable and cozy, and just a few meters away from the dive center that I signed up with. Would recommend this place to stay if you’re diving with Purple Dive, or just as an escape from the busy touristy areas and just want some calm and serenity

Very small and cosy accommodation, not so many people were there when we stayed, it was calm and relaxing. The location was very close to our diver center (Purple Divers) so it was very easy to go there and back. As we were there for diving, other items didn't interest us. However there is a good pool in the property and a few places to chill down around it using sun loungers. Overall it was clean and tidy. Stuff was very polite and accommodating to all our requests. The restaurant has the ocean view so you can enjoy it during your meal. We needed to leave later than regular check out time, so we asked to leave our luggage at the reception until 3pm and that was very useful. Overall - it is very good value for money, especially if you are up to diving in the nearby areas.

In the last bungalow where I stayed, one of the body soap containers was broken. It would be great to have a small fridge in the room so you can keep a few bottles of water cold. The light was too dark in the bungalow on my taste but my son liked it. We had some early dives at 7:30 and wanted to have breakfast before, but normal breakfast time was 7am. All that we needed was 10-15 minutes early. The staff was very accommodating and helped us doing it very quickly so we ended up having it 6:50am. The foot path to all bungalows has pebbles - so you woudn't be able to ride your suit cases if they have wheels and it might be a little difficult to walk on pebbles as we didn't used to it.

The hotel was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel completely comfortable throughout our stay. Everything was well-organized, and we truly enjoyed our time there. A great bonus was the option to rent a scooter directly at the hotel, which was quick and hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location was comfortable to reach easily the most famous touristic places, amazing views, nice clean house and the smell was also amazing in the room, and staff really kind and helpful ( we wish them all the best). I will miss this place a lot!!!

Lovely and spacious bungalows with mini fridge. Pool was great for a refreshing dip after a hot day and the breakfasts were delicious (try the noodles!). The people were so friendly and helpful too and we met different guests from various countries. On a clear day you can have a great view of Mount Agung (unfortunately we never saw the whole mountain because of the clouds).

Out of town a ways

Its very good stay for families we had one incident we are planning to go gili island from nusa pendia but feery tickets was sold out that stay owner helped me . She got ticket for us and she dropped us in that ferry point with her scooter she actually carried 2 bags of luggage with her friend and i carried 1 bag with my husband she dropped there and be with us to complete check in. She so humble and very good helping tendency without her i couldn't able to come gili on planned day then my plan will be disaster but thank god she helped me in that time.

The location was great for Nusa Penida, walkable to massage, cafe, beach, beach bar/restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and the view from the breakfast spot and pool was beautiful - particularly for sunrise/sunset.

Breaky could definitely be skipped, and the bathrooms were very stinky without hot water. From research pre-booking, the whole island struggles with hot water.

Beautiful view, friendly staff, comfortable beds, lovely pool. Nice to have a fridge in the room. Close to some nice restaurants but scooters or a car are necessary to access the main areas. Very quiet and relaxing.

A bit of a strange smell in the bathroom. Restaurant only serves breakfast which was good but basic.

The breakfast was good, we enjoyed the unicorn breakfast. The facility is well placed, close to many amenities offered on the island however it is on a hill, so one would have to walk uphill from the street. The two ladies at reception were really awesome, so helpful and so accommodating.

There is a stoned pave way which was difficult to walk through, found ourselves using the grass instead of the facility built walkway, also the water from the shower felt bit salty but that may be an island problem.
