The room is very clean, good breakfast, the location is good, it is near restaurants or beach club.

The time for breakfast start from 7.30. One day before, I asked if we can have it earlier at 7am because my husband will be picked up by diving company at 7.30, but unfortunately they can not do it. Then I ask if they can do breakfast box, they also can not do it. They need to improve about this service because a lot of tourist from Nusa penida take early boat, or leaving early for diving. If they can not prepare breakfast at 7am, then at least they need to give breakfast box. Breakfast is the right of the client because they pay for it.

Absolutely chilling and relaxing atmosphere. There is pool area. Good breakfast choice not lots of items, but more then enough. Good location in live area, there are few restaurants near by. Personal is very kind and responsive. Will give you advice where and when to better go for snorkelling, how to get to picturesque places.

The room was very spacious, probably the biggest I’ve stayed in so far, with plenty of storage space. The bed was large and comfortable—maybe a bit too soft for me, but I still slept well. The bathroom is outdoors, which was nice, and the water was always hot. Simple breakfast, but tasty. I really liked the banana pancakes. It’s quiet at night. During the day, there’s some noise from construction work behind the hotel, which can be a bit annoying if you’re around. There are some good restaurants nearby. I’d recommend Secret Penida for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—the food is really good. If you’re looking for a quiet beach to walk around, check out Bubu Beach. It’s small, clean, and not crowded. Stuff really helpful and friendly. They arranged for me a day trip to Nusa Penida with Putu. As a solo traveler, i would’ve appreciated if the driver spoke more english, since we spent 8h together. Also I’d have felt more comfortable if he paid much more attention to the road instead of his phone.

If the walls in the room got a little refresh, this place would easily be a 10/10.

The Tentacle is very close to the ferry port roughly 8 minutes by taxi. Very friendly/warm check in. Nice pool to take a dip. Plenty of restaurants outside the property and easy to walk to. It is also a stones throw from the beach. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The outdoor Hammock was a nice touch. WiFi was really good also. Breakfast was very very nice. We enjoyed the omelettes and my daughter loved the pancakes. Room was clean and the staff all were friendly/helpful. The tea/coffee station was workable.

Unfortunately the bathroom is outdoors. My fault on booking I didn’t realise. There is a lot of mosquitoes here. So we were constantly closing doors behind us. The bedroom needs some TLC. The walls need a freshen up as does the bed linen. I would happily pay more to have a kettle, some tea/coffee and cups inside the room. For what we paid I really can’t grumble and would stay here again!

Really warm welcome and super helpful staff! The accommodation itself was beautiful with places to sit for breakfast and to chill by the pool. Nothing was ever too much for the staff, we had taxis booked for us and an island tour round the east side which was great value for money. They also booked our snorkelling exhibition for us which meant we could just go with peace of mind. Overall amazing value for money and such great service!

This place would be perfect if you are comfortable riding a scooter or can pay a bit more for taxis, we struggled with a slight lack of freedom but this was after coming from a busy city. There are walkable shops and restaurants.

We have stayed in two bedroom cottage and it was good option for our family. For the price the rooms are quite good with two bathrooms, one is an outdoor bathroom which is functional and provides an interesting experience. The beds are very comfortable and the cleaning is done daily. The breakfast menu is simple but it is cooked fresh and the pancakes are quite tasty. The location was good enough for us, a good restaurant with an entertainment and a bakery just across the road, we had a nice massage with an ocean view nearby and the resort itself is very quiet and peaceful. It is a bit away from the main area so a scooter might be needed if someone wish to get there. The staff has made a huge difference to our stay. The ladies at the reception are very cheerful and most helpful. They can organise tours and taxi at a reasonable price. My daughter and I have fallen sick and the ladies at the resort made sure that we had a breakfast that was advised by the doctor (it wasn’t on the menu and they cooked it specifically for us). They have also prepared some herbal tea for us and generally were concerned with our wellbeing.

The staff were incredibly helpful! They organised our pick-up and drop-off from the port, helped us rent motorbikes (we just asked at reception and the next morning the bikes were parked outside!) and were overall very responsive to our feedback. Additionally, arguably the best restaurant/bar in the whole island is literally next door (Secret Penida!)

No hair-dryers in the rooms, although you can ask for one at reception. The (only) mirror in the room was in a pretty awkward position (had to sit on the ground to see ourselves). The ground floor room was clearly better than the upper-floor one.

This place is a true gem. The property is gorgeous, well-maintained and the room are clean & spacious. The bathroom has hot water, the pool is not too cold and the staff is incredibly friendly. They clean the room every day and the property has cute areas to relax and hang out. The value for money is incredible.

Honestly the only thing that’s not ideal in this place is the WiFi - it’s almost non-existent. It’s so slow you cannot load a lot of pages. The breakfast is very basic but good. It would be perfect if they would add fresh fruit and real milk.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was okay. They had a few options for breakfast and the portions were good enough. The villas were nice too. They were perfect for what we needed and good value for money. The location was great. There were a few restaurants beside it. We went every night to Secret Penida beach club to have dinner. That place was super nice and had live music from Thursday till Monday. Will recommended it too.

The shower heater wasn’t working so we had to use cold water but it was actually not that bad as climate was hot. The pool is not that tempting. We didn’t used it .

All the staff there were very helpful and friendly. They helped us to arrange everything from snorkelling trips, day trips out, rental of scooter and transfer to the pier. They also gave us recommendations on where to go for lunch and dinner. There are small warungs and cafes within walking distance. Rooms were clean. There was a cute little dog to welcome you. Gardens were well kept with lots of greenery. It gives a calm, relaxing feeling with sunbeds and a hammock by the poolside. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit juice served daily. I like that they provided drinking water that you can refill in your tumblers anytime, it's encouraging to see an environmentally friendly hotel that helps to reduce plastic trash.
