We loved the location, the sound of the river was so soothing (although may be loud for some people). The accommodation was lovely and everything was very clean.
We didn't like that they played loud boom boom music at the pool most of the day. It was such a beautiful, serene location that it was spoilt by that. In fact nobody spent time at the pool and that was probably why. We certainly would have like to but just couldn't due to the loud music. They played lovely soft background music in the evening and that is what should have been happening during the day as well.

An incredible place—the view from our tent was breathtaking. We fell asleep to the calming sound of the river. The whole area is well-organized, with plenty of different seating areas. Great curated playlist. Tasty breakfast. The AC worked perfectly; we never felt hot in our tent. They provide umbrellas in case of rain.
There was nowhere to hang out stuff, nor any hooks to hang towels. There was a table with some decorations, but I think this space could have been used for something more practical. The same goes for the toilet-shower area—it would be nice to have hooks, as I had to place my towel on the toilet seat. There are stones to walk on from the swimming pool toward the cabins, but the path ends before reaching our tent. Due to heavy rain, there was slush near our tent. Dirty shoes could have been avoided by adding a few more pebbles.

I absolutely loved every single aspect of this paradise spot. Randomly I found this place - it was surely meant to be that i ended up here for 3 nights. I searched for a calm spot in Bali and this area came up and straight away I fell in love as soon as I saw the photos. I had tears when I saw this place, because I was so touched of its beauty. The people working there were all extremely friendly, lovely, and so helpful. I loved the fire at night, the fresh river, the amazing food, I had Gado Gado, a cappuccino, fresh fruit every morning, pizza and beer and it was all delicious. The tent was amazing, the bed very comfortable, it had all i needed and the toilets and showers so clean and natural Come here if you just want to relax and wind down in a quiet peaceful spot. I'd also recommend to not tell too many people (social media) about this as we want to keep it a well kept secret and not the New Ubud. ;) To do there: cooking classes at Natya River, massages from professional masseur Wayan, or also ricefield tours (2hours) with Wayan, rafting in the river (different river nearby) and lots more Thank you everyone who made it my best holiday and I'll be back next year xoxo

My husband and I have been fortunate enough to stay in some stunning places, but this place takes the cake. When we arrived we were actually a little speechless. Driving past the rice fields on the way to the resort was stunning- and so lovely to see authentic Bali. Our driver wanted to stop and take it all in himself! Rice workers in this area still farm by hand which is amazing to observe. The resort grounds themselves are beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant was quiet (presumably due to the rural location meaning they only serve guests. There aren’t that many tents/much capacity, but that makes it peaceful. ) Food was excellent (in our opinion- the manager told us some tourists have critiqued the traditional bali menu in the past, but it suited us.) There aren’t really any other places to eat nearby unfortunately. If you are looking for some time to chill away from busier parts of Bali this is for you- there are activities you can arrange nearby such as water rafting, traditional cooking classes, jewellery making (we did and adored!) If you don’t have a car the hotel can arrange a driver for you but best to do this in advance. Swimming in both the pool and river was lovely. Our tent was clean and cool, and the outdoor shower water pressure was surprisingly good. There were some creatures keeping you company but we don’t mind that- it’s to be expected with glamping.
We should have stayed for more than 1 night. Not a critique but be aware that the walk to the resort from the car park/welcome area is long and down a lot of steps, which is awkward with luggage

The views from the tents directly at the river edge are mind blowing, particularly in the morning when the sun shines into the tent. The surroundings are incredible. The restaurant area is also a nice place to sit and look from. The pizzas were good.
Everything else was ok. The bar is super basic. They didn’t know what rum was and only seem to have arak cocktails, which were way too sickly sweet. The menu was small, so would get sick of it quickly if you were staying for more than a few days. The walk down with heavy bags is pretty long too. It would be good to have somebody at the entrance lobby to help. Music was sometimes a bit cheesy and loud, but other times more chilled. The pool is very shallow. So not the best, but considering you are in an incredible location it was all fine.

The staff were exceptional, very smiley and extremely helpful. They organised a taxi for us , they did our laundry, even made us a pack breakfast because we were leaving very early in the morning. The restaurant food is very nice and affordable. Super cheap cocktails! The view over the river and hills is beautiful. The tents and beds are comfortable. There are 2 aircons but we didn’t use them so it got a little hot in the morning.
The location is quite isolated so it was difficult to rent a scooter. We had to walk 30mn to the nearest rental. The hot water runs out quite quickly in the showers, but there are 4 outdoor bathrooms for 7 tents so no problem. Sadly our laundry came back with pink stains, but the staff were super efficient and took it straight back to be cleaned again.

I’ve never been to such an incredible place in my entire life. The nature, the warmth of the locals, the outstanding service, and the view… What an absolutely breathtaking landscape. We were unsure about visiting Sidemen, but thank God we finally decided to come here. If you’re looking to escape the gentrification of Ubud and truly rest in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place to do it. Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible 🙏

Incredible experience. Not only was the view and surrounds exceptional, so were the staff. My only regret is that I only stayed for one night. The sound of the river was so relaxing at night and chilling during the day by the pool, having a coffee and reading a book was made even more beautiful when surrounded by stunning Sideman. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be back!
Everything was only open until 7:30 which I would have liked to have been later so I could have stayed up and enjoyed the facilities more. But that's the only downside. And if it's raining you will need to walk to the bathroom in the rain so prepare for that. But that's part of the camping experience so didn't bother me at all but may bother some.

For a quiet, off the beaten track getaway, this was perfect. Beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Gorgeous infinity pool, and they light a bonfire at 8pm. The staff were very attentive. Food was good, coffee was as great, and the chocolate lava cake was incredible. For the price, hard to beat this place!
This wasn’t a problem for us, but we came by scooter and it was an adventurous ride on some tiny, hilly roads. Maybe there is another route for cars to come here as the route we took wasn’t accessible by car. Also, I’m getting really nitpicky here, but I think wasn’t a fan of their shampoo and body wash (although it’s nice that they provide it) so I recommend bringing your own.

I was tempted not to review as I wanted to selfishly keep this hidden as long as possible. The location is a bit further away from most other spots but still easily accessible. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The views really cannot be beat - it's bucolic. The staff are all very attentive, warm and friendly and the tents are well maintained with comfortable beds. It's my new favourite place to stay in Bali and it's a bargain at that.
I wish I could have stayed longer. The only thing of note that I can even think of is accessibility - to enter you have to walk down a path with quite a few stairs so this might not be your place if that's the issue. Also, worth noting the pool is shallow throughout.
