Amrita Villa is a very nice little Villa in the more "touristic" part of sidemen and the perfect location to visit the village. We stayed there for 3 nights and had a wonderful time in the bigger Villa. The place is super clean and you have more then enough space for 4 persons. Air con works perfect, pool is nice, breakfast was good and the staff is super friendly and helps you with everything you need (scooter-rental, driver to the next location and so on) We did the ricefield trekking tour with super nice Guide Nyoman and it was one of the best experiences on our whole Trip to bali so far. He told us so much about balinise culture, the plants and Sidemen and he brought us to wonderful places, we won't have seen without him - if you are in Sidemen you should definitly do the trekking tour with Nyoman :) We would definitly come back to Villa Amrita. We stayed for 6 days with our 9 month old baby. The villa is perfect, loads of space for him to crawl safely, a nice little pool to take a dip and the most incredible views of mt. Agung from the cafe and pool (and balcony if you stay in the room above the cafe - we were in the villa below). The team looked after us so well and were fantastic with our young son. We also had a great treck in the ricefields with Nyoman - highly recommend. The villa is located next to many excellent restaurants, resorts and warungs all within easy walking distance. You can get a day pass to the nearby fancier resorts which is great if you want more of a swim. The road is quiet and calm which was great for getting out for short walks with our baby. We had such a relaxing time here after the hecticness of Ubud and could easily have stayed longer. Thank you!

I just had a wonderful stay here during my time in Sideman! Nyoman, Komang, and Ketut took great care to make sure my every need was met. The King Room was very spacious and clean with a large balcony and the best view of Mt. Agung. They all speak great English, so communication was easy. Komang was always available for a quick ride to the bank or my amazing massage at Canting Spa or a spontaneous waterfall tour. He was even open to exploring a new waterfall he'd never been to called Aan Secret Waterfall that turned out to be a spectacular adventure! He also connected me with his nephew Wayan for a full day tour of the area by motorbike that was a blast. I toured the local rice terraces with Nyoman on a different day, and we ended up having dinner with his farmer friends who live in the middle of the fields. My four days in Sideman were as true to a local Indonesian experience as it gets thanks to the wonderful staff at Amrita, and I will for sure return to see all of my new friends! I wish I would've booked here longer....

I loved everything about my stay. From the coziness and cleanliness of the place, to the wonderful service and hospitality of the owners. There are lots of hotels around the area, but personally I do not think they do justice to Sidemen’s true charm. If you wish for a more serene, quiet, authentic stay in Sidemen, look no further. Amrita villa is truly a hidden gem! Special thanks to Nyoman and his wife for taking care of me and for treating me with such kindness!

I liked everything

If you're looking to reconnect with nature, Amrita is a great choice. The serene surroundings and beautiful view of Mt. Agung create a peaceful atmosphere. The small pool was a hit with my kids—it felt like our own private retreat. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the in-room Balinese massage was a highlight of our stay. A special shoutout to the staff, especially Manager Komang, who went above and beyond by personally dropping me off and picking me up from my yoga class. Truly appreciated the warm hospitality. One charming surprise was their friendly guard dog, who added a warm and welcoming touch to our stay.

The room is very spacious, has its own bathroom and a little terrace overlooking the pool. The view out the back is very nice, and on a clear day would have stunning views of the volcano (sadly it rained a lot when we were there). It is in a great location, in easy walking distance of loads of restaurants and the town has some great workshops too, doing weaving and silver jewellery-making. Komang and the ladies working in the cafe downstairs were very kind and helpful. Komang organised a driver for us for a day (his brother, who was also lovely) to take us to some of the temples around the east of the island, and even booked rafting for us after we had left and moved to a different location. There is also a lovely dog who hangs around which is a bonus if you’re a dog lover like us :) Would recommend staying here to meet some very kind local people who will help you make the most of your time in Sidemen!

Lovely light filled apartment provided with every comfort. I was overjoyed to find a fridge as well as the kettle & the large water dispenser. I loved all the windows & the 2 balconies with different views of nature. Charming hosts. It's close to lots of local Warungs, walking distance to the rice fields & the local markets which are worth a visit - go early. All the outlooks & the garden are so pretty!

At the time of writing this I will have travelled for 3 months in SE Asia, including 6 week Bali, and this remains my favourite place 😍😍😍 I want to come back to Bali just to stay here for a week, as 2 nights was too short! Firstly the pictures of the room don’t do it justice. It’s soo spacious, and beautifully decorated, ideal for a solo girl or couple. It’s got 2 balconies with GORGEOUS views each so you can choose what to look at! The room is veery quiet, it’s on top of a small veeery cute café and it’s the only room!! How cool is that? The pool is so nice and clean - it’s been the only pool I used across my stays (I’m very picky with pools!) The ladies downstairs are soo nice - they make you breakfast at anytime you want, and just for you on the spot 😍 One of my fav eggs to date! And location is perfect esp if you don’t drive a scooter. You’re in v close walking distance to restaurants, spas and yoga places. Sidemen is so gorgeous and tranquil and you can unwind and relax or go on trekking etc. So much to do and so authentic. Much better than the touristic places, such as Canggu or even Ubud My top tips for Sidemen. Try any treatment at Samanvaya - gorgeous spa within 1 min walking distance. And try the pineapple tart at Lihat Sawah restaurant & butterfly pea tea at the cafe downstairs!

That I didn’t stay any longer!

This accommodation is family-run, which makes it a very pleasant place to stay. The owners are extremely friendly and courteous. We stayed in the villa, which surprised us with its architecture, spaciousness, cleanliness, cosiness and privacy. It is especially recommended for couples who want to get away from it all or for families. The breakfast was generous and very tasty! There were exotic teas and the smoothie is highly recommended. Unfortunately, we only had one night on our itinerary and would otherwise have loved to stay longer. Many thanks to the hosts!

This is my fourth visit. As a cyclist it is a great place as a base. For anyone else the location, pleasant Warungs to eat near by, scenery, trekking...the list could go on. I met guests in the ground level villa and they loved the views. I was upstairs and the views are also amazing. Also because there are two balconies the breeze flows through and I never used the air con. I love this place.

They can't control the clouds to the volcano. Most times views are beautiful and other time AMAZING
