We were traveling with two adults and two kids. The family room was great two rooms - separate with two separate bathrooms. The pool was lovely and refreshing. Breakfasts were big and included in our stay. Remote place, which we loved, quite dark and just gorgeous. We traveled to Ubud and didn't like it, so if you like a nice quiet place to gather your thoughts, this is the place. We will come back and stay! Loved our stay and would recommend it. It was one of my favorite places. The staff were all divine and well trained with incredible English Best gardens ever!! Separately - Make sure you book the Sideman Silver class near Yellow Bridge (just google it) was the best activity we did all trip!!

We went on tour in the rice fields and the local area was filled with rubbish, it was heartbreaking! This was separate from the hotel. It ruined what we thought Sideman was (a rural village and pristine village). They do weekly clean-ups in the street with the locals, but I feel they need to go into the rice fields and river areas to combat the massive problem (I won't put up photographs). Dinner was on the pricey side compared to other local restaurants The cocktails weren't that great! So skip those! The massages we had weren't that great compared to other places. The practitioner we had didn't put much love into the massages.

It has a super nice swimming pool, the room in itself was comfortable and nice outdoor bathroom. Location is not in sidemen center but you can walk a bit and right next door you have a nice coffee shop and also some eateries. Friendly staff! And we had an amazing cooking course, make sure to try that one!

Everything was good and we enjoyed our stay. However the place can use a little refresh and small maintenance eg electricity plugs… It was clean but just, refresh a bit, especially knowing a brand new place is built next door. Not the most important, but the wifi is quite bad.

Sawah Indah Villa in Sidemen is a beautiful and peaceful place for an immersive stay in nature. The hotel is surrounded by lush green rice fields and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains. The rooms are tastefully decorated in an authentic Balinese style while providing modern comforts. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Location - the room was beautiful in rice field, the jungle atmosphere. Gardens absolutely made this accommodation experience beautiful and peaceful. Restaurant was great, good prices and tasty food. Staff very friendly. Beautiful balcony to sit and enjoy tea and coffee and read a book. Staff carried our luggage thankfully, which saved the wheels from being broken (although not sure of oh&s!!) 10 minute scooter to widana silver class was the hilight of our trip. Must do. 10 minute walk up the street to small road shops and other restaurants.

A lot of bugs in the room - ants and small flying bugs- the air conditioner wasn’t very cold, maybe due to the large gaps in the windows- the air conditioner wasn’t facing the bed so couldn’t feel it. We asked for a fan but never received one. My husband has a disability (MS) and gets very hot so the air conditioner wasn’t great for us. Also the room was very far from reception and down a lot of stairs- my husbands disability meant it was very difficult for him to get to and from our room There’s not much to buy in the road side shops, some snacks and drinks only. The bathroom bath was stained so didn’t want to use it. Shower had no water pressure. But did the job.

We've been there in December 2024 and there is a big construction site right in front of the restaurant which is operating more than 12 hours a day So either you accept this and enjoy the construction site (interesting to watch), including noise or don't book I would say until March 2025 !? - the hotel is very good in compensating the negative experience- but they cannot change this!

The location and the place are amazing. It s so quiet, the garden is lush and the view from the pool, the room and the restaurant are fantastic. The food was overall really good and in big portion. The staff was incresibily nice. There are some music events in the restaurant every now and then. I am a frequent traveller and this place has reached my top5

Just be aware that it is an outdoor bathroom so it comes with natural surprises like snail or caterpillar :) As well, you must get a motorbike or a car to explore around. Though many cafe and restaurants at a walking distance.

Beautiful gardens and pool with a fantastic view, we were in deluxe room 4 which was on a corner so we had two outside sitting areas and great views over the rice fields. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a big bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Sideman is quiet and very pretty there are plenty of places in walking distance to eat and drink. Really great place and value for money.

As others mentioned there is construction work next door, the workers are staying on site right behind our room so we could hear them talking at night, not an issue for us and it didn’t impact our enjoyment, however it may bother others.

Our room, BR1 was lovely BUT we did not have a view. We were expecting a view of your beautiful valley (being the reason why we booked our visit with you) We are an Australian Tour Company and were hoping to video from our room. Tidak Apa Apa...

Take me back please! What a gorgeous resort on a breathtaking location. We slept in the family bungalow and this was simply great with 3 kids (20,17 and 14). Two of them in the double bed, the other in the adjacent room and we in the other room which was seperated by a door and wall. So really privacy for the parents. The bungalow had insane views over the valley and the swimming pool, which was equally stunning located, was around the corner. The breakfast is a nice combination of Indonesian food and western food and is very tasty. So is the food and cocktails at night. The resort is great value for money and Sidemen is simply lovely. This was how Ubud was like 25 years back, so let's try to keep it here unspoiled and enjoy the countryside of Bali. We enjoyed the rice field tour by foot and the tubbing. On a scooter you can enjoy all the great natural treasures in the surroundings.

Great views from the room with massive veranda which we absolutely loved. Very comfortable bed. Good air conditioning and fan. Nicely decorated. Staff very nice and helpful. Nice restaurant. Very good communication with the staff. Nice breakfast with fresh juices and variety of dishes to choose from. Great pool to swim anytime. Very peaceful and quiet. Live music in restaurant quite often.

Wi fi was constantly dropping off and you need to log in every time even when you connect automatically. Shower was beat weak.
