We have been on the road for more than a month and have visited several good hotels. But Gladek di Uma Bali, there you will find the highest possible. It was a fabulous experience. A place that reminds you of the old people from the villages, with the smell of animals, but pleasant and not disturbing at all. Supreme silence, even though it is being built in the area and you could still hear machinery working, likewise, not disturbing at all.

If you want to serve wine or prosecco, sparkling wine, even a local wine, there's a good chance you won't find it. Only plenty of beer. Because of how wonderful the location is, it's a pity that there were only 2 towels for 2 people, after all, there is a swimming pool, you also need a towel to wash yourself after

Views, peace, nature, and the staff. Everyone was great and Wayan in particular was always there. Friendly, helpful, and capable. We had a number of visits from the local wildlife. Might not be a plus for everyone.

Some prior guests seem to have been confused about where the toilet is. WTF. While it's great to have food delivered to your room, some dishes were better than others.

The place looks great. Beautiful views over the fields, rice paddies and mountains. Your high up so the view is really stunning. The sun rise over the mountain tops we could see from our bed. The house and tree house was just perfect for us. It’s a smaller set up. We had our own little private pool over looking the mountains. Food is good not a 4* meal but good. It is very remote so only some locals shops around. There are tons of nature activities to do in the area. It’s beautiful to drive up there. Wayan, Kadek and Kadek were more then helpful. Super friendly and always willing to help with what ever you want. Wayan even got us some delicious durian for breakfast. A warm welcome and they show out also at the end. This team really make you feel at home, suksma! The tree house is our favorite spot. This has the bed directed to the beautiful views and in the morning I woke up early to open the big sliding door so we could enjoy the sunrise from the bed. For those on the road needing a good place to stay with some luxury will find all they need here. We will be back!

These are not things I don’t like. More to give some info on things people might see as a inconvenience, -no hot water in tree house -steps up to entrance -not handy with small kids -quite a drive -small villages around only -construction going on although it wasn’t noisy. It was almost done and is looking really cool the new bamboo house.

The service was extraordinary. We were helped in every possible way starting from our entry to exit. The hosts especially, Wyan was really helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable and we were well taken care of. The location was gorgeous as the villa was facing the Mount agung and the rice fields at the same time. Also there is an outdoor pool with gorgeous views to it

The villa was not properly maintained, as the outside door was not there, causing some inconvenience to privacy. Also the furniture is quite old. Hopefully the new villa they are building will curb all the cons.

A very beautiful property in the middle of nature. The views of rice terraces and mountain was surreal.Special mention to the staff who were always there to help us with our stay. They also provided us with ubud city tour and drop off at the airport as well. Very friendly attitude of all the staff and authenticity made our stay memorable. The place is very very beautiful and the view of the area is magical, especially from the tree house! The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful and the bed was extremely comfortable. The net around the bed is a huge plus. There are no words to describe how accommodating and helpful the staff was. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, they welcomed us very warmly and took very good care of us, always with a smile. These genuine and positive people made us feel very special and welcomed and made our stay amazing. Although the place and the view are stunning, the heart of Gladak di Uma is its wonderful staff! The bugs noise, but that is normal given the nature and environment of tropical climate. Also, it gave real village feel in Bali, unlike cities, traffic noise in Kuta.

Fotos don't show how great, calm and positive energy place it is. Every morning you can wake up with beautiful view on volcano, rise terrace and sunshine. Family staff are trying to help you to feel like at home and doing everything to makes you staying there the Best. Total private place, nobody around and view which you never be boring. Great small but enought swimming pool, hamook and swing. Breakfast which they bring to you to home. It was our the best place where we had occaction to stay in our a lot of yourney in the World.

Nothing. Everything was great! Maybe add some sunbed and change garden cusions. Is good to have a motobike because is little far away to shops, restaurants and tourist atractions.

The staff here are so amazing. They accommodated us so well and went above and beyond to make sure we were situated. They really showed they cared for their guests. The property itself is beautiful. The view is amazing and it truly feels like you’re in a romantic get away. No bad things to say about this property. Their nearby restaurant is a must try as well with great local/cultural food.

The location is very hard to fine, there are no signs indicating where to turn. You’ll have to contact the property and have staff come find you. The address takes you to the nearby supermarket and restaurant which is where staff found us. Staff is very sweet though. Recommend checking in during the day.
