The staff here are amazing! all of them were so so friendly and helpful. The wifi wasnt working when i was staying there which i was really upset about as i had no sim card and planned to spend time speaking to my family. The staff went above and beyond, driving into town at 9pm at night to try and buy me a sim card, and also letting me ( and other guests ) hotspot from their phones any time we wanted. This would of cost them money from their own data but they were happy to help. The location is so beautiful, I've never seen such a relaxing breakfast spot. The breakfast was lovely and the room was beautiful. The pool was lovely and kept very clean every day. It is a very small, peaceful, relaxing place to stay and i would highly reccomend to anyone who is going to sidemen- i cant wait to come back!

Bed was pretty hard ( which i know some people like ) Wifi was not working ( but staff were amazing )

The food was exceptional, lots of variety and they cater for vegetarian & vegans too! We loved the outdoor shower, and the room is large and spacious. The pool and communal lounging areas, and dining area are lovely. We loved Sidemen, and we especially loved that Pelangi is set amongst locals and small rice paddies. As with every place in Bali, the staff are wonderful and helpful!

2 chairs on the veranda would have been great. There was just one bedside table with power point and lampshade, it would have been better to have on both sides, for reading and cellphone charging at night.

Brilliant Staff very knowledgeable on the area and surrounds. Sideman is a special place to relax and breathe in the fresh air and escape life in Seminyak etc, breakfast was lovely and we even had lunch at the resort on arrival which was delicious Pelangi only has 5 rooms we like the boutique style resorts, the 1 bedroom villas are clean and very spacious, will be back for 3 or 4 days next May, do yourself a favour and book now.

Nothing to fault only I should have booked 3 or 4 days that would have been perfect.

Very nice airy room with lovely views of the gardens and cultivated land. Bed was super comfortable and air conditioning was good. Room decor was very restful and quite interesting. The pool and the pool lounges were very nice. The restaurant was quite good and the staff very helpful. Due to the higher altitude, the climate is quite pleasant in Sidemen.

Bathroom shower base comprised small stones with just a few concrete blocks to stand on. I could not manage this as my balance is not good and the bottom of my feet are sore from recent surgery. Thankfully the staff laid a mat down over the stones for me to walk on. Unfortunately, because the property is built on sloping ground, there were many quite steep steps which I found very difficult to manage. It was particularly difficult to get into the restaurant due to the very high steps. Therefore it should be noted that this property, while quite lovely, is not suitable for people with knee and foot problems or for older people generally.

lovely pool, depth between 1.5 - 1 meter. I mention this because we have encountered several pools in Bali which were 1.50 deep without a shallow part. nice restaurant for lunch, breakfast or a drink. not sure if they serve dinner a guest asked for a cocktail, but that they did not have. Please correct me if I am wrong. beer yes :)) the breakfast choices were good surrounded by green fields well kept garden bar fridge with some drinks and some snacks available to buy some quite high steps on the property several nice restaurants at walking distance in the village are scooters for hire it is easy to spend a few days here if you have a car or scooter to explore stunning rice fields in all sort of stages of growth in October and November at least.

the bed was to hard for me seating (sun lounge) for 1 person on the terras of villa number 1, no other chair or small table not sure about the other 4 villas

Pelangi Villas is in a great location in Sideman, near an excellent warung (Warung Bija - exceptional food). The villas had beautiful views of the rice paddies around them - we got to see the rice being harvested during our stay. Mt Agung also loomed in the near distance. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and provided scooter transport to near by warungs, as well as advice about local attractions. They also enjoyed practicing speaking English with us! Some staff are more proficient than others with English, so patience and kindness is required, and humour - having a laugh about trying to understand each other. The pool was heavenly, and very clean. The rooms were spacious. The meals were OK, some ingredients are sourced from a local organic farm, and the menu caters specifically for vegans as well as meat eaters. Overall the accommodation was excellent value. I woud definitely stay here again.

The only thing I could suggest is for the stone tiles in the shower to be more level, with less river stones around them, as it was a little difficult to walk into and stand in the shower without being careful.

The staff were the best, so friendly and attentive. They speak very good English and super easy to communicate with. Very quiet location, good pool and views of Mt Agung on clear days.

Only downside really in our opinion were the number of deep stone steps. After just having had 2 knee replacements and a foot surgery between us the steps were awkward to climb up and down and there are quite a few that are encountered.

The surroundings of the hotel, which is located in a street away from the main road. Unfortunately there was a big ceremony during the first two nights we stayed at Pelangi Villas. At night the sound of motorbikes passing by on the street was noticeable. The third night, when there was no more ceremonies, it was much quieter. The friendliness of the staff and the swimming pool are also very remarkable.

The condition of the mosquito nets on the beds could be improved. Ours had huge holes in it, which we had to fix by tying knots to prevent mosquitoes from entering (although by keeping the doors closed and A/C on, mosquitoes hardly ever get in). The restaurant is unfortunately not remarkable.

Breakfast was to order and was always tasty and served with a friendly smile. Staff were most attentive and everyone was keen to help in any way should the need arise. The Hotel was lovely and mostly quiet, look out for the crazy farmer who keeps banging his shed to keep the birds away from his rice paddies. Other than that, if you are looking for a quite getaway then Sideman is the place to go.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The place was peaceful and very relaxing. Swimming area lovely, quiet, private. Hot water in the shower. Beautiful honeymoon decoration made it extra special.

If you don't like ants, geckos, and little creatures, you might not enjoy it.. the geckos bark at night, but that's part of nature.. you get used to it after the first night :) Having to leave the place.
