Sare is a traditional homestay that has been modernised with new rooms and an amazing restaurant. The staff are super friendly and the food is fantastic. The pork sate and crushed new potatoes were amazing, highly recommended! The room was modern, clean and spacious with a TV complete with Netflix and the aircon was great and quiet. The location was perfect as it was on a quiet street, right next to the night market and only a short walk to the beach and centre of Sanur. Can't recommend the place enough, wish I'd stayed there the whole time I was in Sanur!

There was nothing I didn't like about Sare!

I spent just one night here. It's a cool little set up and was a breath of fresh air after a couple of underwhelming homestay style places. It's well thought out with a cafe/ resto downstairs and rooms upstairs. My superior double was spacious and had nice design touches. No shower over the toilet here. Good pressure and hot water was plentiful. The fan was powerful . The bed was comfy and the aircon worked fine. Brekky was included they do a mean scrambled eggs. Didn't eat at the resto but the food looked very good. Location is bang on. Great night food market nearby. 5 min walk to the beach.

You do get noise from the cafe coming upstairs to the rooms at times. It' comes and goes depending on how busy they are. Things wind up pretty early so you won't be kept awake.

Sare Homestay is such a beautiful space, with a welcome much like living with family, and delicious food! You get free breakfast every morning that you setup with them the day before too. Many reviews warn of hearing busy traffic or a rooster but that wasn't the case for my week stay. The location is confidently close to Sanur Harbor too if you have trips to Nusa Penida. The biggest highlight are the ladies who work there who are especially sweet and attentive. They made my stay so welcoming :) Only thing: not sure how the cleaning routine works but my room was never cleaned during my week long stay. If I needed fresh towels, more toilet paper I just asked though!

I really liked how big the rooms were, so spacious especially for one person. Free breakfast was great to have, and the location was ideal for getting around. The bed was also very comfy! It was also really quiet at night which was nice (except for the rooster!!).

Even though the rooms were big, they could definitely do with a bit of renovation. There was damp on the walls with the paint peeling off and a bad smell from the drains at times. Not sure why the rooster is there also, so so loud!

The vibe is like its name - an artspace, very cool one. The meals exceed my expectations - delicious. Location is great, near the beach and still feels private. Room is clean and comfortable. Sofa is awesome too. The staffs are charming and helpful, they're there 24 hours. We feel safe.

An improvement would be a choice of blankets and pillows. The blanket is a bit too thin. Pillows are not very comfortable. Everything else is great. Nothing else that I can think of. So great job, Sare Artspace :)

The Location is walking distance to the beach. The room is very spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Breakfast might as well not be included... :( Just sip the coffee or tea and go somewhere else for bfast.

Comfortable room in a renovated part of a Balinese house. Short walking distance to Sanur beach boardwalk and Bali Icon shopping mall. I and my friend did enjoy the stroll along the beach boardwalk. Breakfast is basic and there are options you need to pick in advance. They have a small restaurant, a little water fountain in a fish pond on the ground floor. A very nice place to stay.

The contrast between the modern & the traditional balinese architecture creates a perfect ambience to relax in. This is a beautifully run family hotel and they were kind enough to treat me like family too. Big thank you to Putu for giving me a private tour of his art gallery & teaching me all things yoga. These few days spent together will remain in my heart forever ❤️

Loved the vibe of this beautiful space. Loved the pond, loved the trees and artworks of the owner. Overall good stay. Location is great too. Close to everything.

The blanket need a bed sheet!! We don’t know who used it beforehand. And the blankets are not usually washed that often. Just a sheet between the blanket and me would have been great. I used the towel instead. Some stains on the bed made me freak out.

The staff were fabulous. Food was great Comfortable bed Everything was great except the rooster on site.
