Location was great, along with the roof top pool. Rooms are as the photos but much more spacious. We stayed in both types of rooms. The shower /bath set up in the suit room was a bit of a fuss, would have been better to have a full walk in shower like the other rooms. All in all a grate accommodation near to everything with great staff. Would stay there again.

The roosters that can be heard from every room in the hotel. Unless you have ear plugs and sleep in them at night then you will have no sleep at all. The 3 Cockrell's living in the neighbourhood are loud and crow all day and all night. The noise from room 2 on the second floor was deafening even with the doors shut. It was slightly quieter in the suit room on the 3rd floor. again room number 2. apart from the roosters nothing to dislike. We had no smell in both our room that people had spoken about, you could smell it in the basement when parking but thats all.

The food here was exceptional especially for the price. Other places at same price point were no where near as nice. Places charging alot more we not even as nice. The quality of food and presentation was fabulous. Cocktails were the same. Really lovely tasting cocktails, good price point. I also loved that as clear as day you could choose premium spirits. Alot of places in bali serve local spirit but don't disclose that or can't quite get a proper answer. Here it was about $8 aud for a local spirit cocktail and about $11 or $12 with premium spirit. Still have the buy 2 get 1 free happy hours aswell. Staff were really great also. That had a sip and paint class on the Friday night we were there. Great location close to the beach, icon mall, night markets and other great restaurants. Rooms had a lounge and eating area and ability to cook your own food. Roof top pool was great with food and drink service brought up also.

Nothing really. I could only suggest maybe a nicer reception area. I think at first impression you think it's not going to be good when it's actually quite nice. So only suggestion for the property is to present reception to match the quality of the food and hotel. Maybe a few more plants or statues so first impressions matches how nice the stay was 😀

Amazing place! Was very worried after reading stupid negative reviews but it was nothing like the negative reviews. Location was so close to beach restaurants and markets. Pool was pretty much our private pool and was clean and peaceful. Lovely scenery. Staff were great! Food was really good, we actually chose to rat here the whole 5 days because it was better than the other restaurants nearby! Food was so affordable and quality was great!! Aircon worked soo well! Tv was great! Balcony looked into others houses but it was nice! The room was big and spacious bed was comfy and big enough for us and the baby! Most of all I respect that they booked us airport shuttle for us both ways as requested and the driver was on time. Thank you for a nice holiday. ❤️ Loved the stay!see you again!

Friendly staff, great location, modern Hotel and room with a lift, roof top pool with ocean views, fancy breakfast, great restaurant,good wifi, cheap cocktails, spotless rooms,5 minute walk to the beach and seafood restaurants and Beach bars. Local fixed price shops ( Tootsies) 10 minutes beach walk to the brand new Icon shopping centre. A lot of restaurants and bars within 1 minute walk, also a good cheap laundry across the road. Dentists and Doctor also in the street. Very popular tattoo shop also. This our third time we have stayed here. They now call it The Roof although it is still the Kayangan boutique Hotel.

Fixing up the steps during the day got a bit noisy, not to bad

Fairly new and reasonably well kept, although some aging is already evident, such as peeling walls and corroding bathroom blind fittings. It was spacious with comfortable chairs and lounge furniture. Adequate kitchen facilities. Breakfast food was good, but the menu was limited to 4 main choices. The rooftop pool and views were sensational.

The shower was fixed too low on the wall, and it was a little difficult getting into the bathtub to have a shower. The toilets are not able to cope with toilet paper, so that makes things slightly trickier for our western practices and sensibilities.

newish property 2019 with excellent inclusions. the area is perfect for access to Sinduh Beach, bike & walking paths and restaurants, the local shops & markets are plenty but very pushy to their department.

unfortunately Covid has impacted on the maintenance of the building and we experienced problems with air conditioning and water pressure which did get better by the end of our 7 days but left plenty of room for improvement. communication was poor from the onset with no guest companion provided detailing what was on offer in way of in-house services. consequently we did not take up the breakfast included or use the bar or food services, opting to explore local venues.

Beautiful spacious room very clean bedroom & living room, 2 bathrooms Excellent breakfast was included at the downstairs restaurant which itself is excellent also Decent location - beach down the street, can rent surfboard at beach, large modern mall close by on beach, many restaurants and other amenities near by Rooftop swimming pool has nice view of ocean

Swimming pool has no room for lounge chairs, but this is not a deal-breaker Hated hearing the noisy roosters at 3 am although I guess we need them if we enjoy eating eggs

Location of hotel is near the beach and shops and markets. Spacious rooms with good design/configuration having a separate bedroom to the lounge/dining room. Rooftop pool is a great feature. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Not maintained very well. eg paint and plaster chips off walls, bedroom door knob comes off, sliding door lock broken, fridge freezer full of ice and bed sheets, towels very worn and thin. It is a shame as all these things that can be easily rectified with a little effort.

The suite was very spacious, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the pool had a beautiful view, the staff were very friendly, the airconditioning worked very well and the food and cocktails were delicious

The entrance is not great having to walk down an underground driveway. A sign to say where reception is located is needed. A pool towel in the room would be a good idea and on booking.com it needs to say you can pay by card not just cash only

The location was great, close to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovey big rooms/kitchenette and dining area. The rooftop pool was amazing. The staff were very friendly and always very helpful. Thank you to Dewi and Adi and our driver Andi, we really enjoyed our stay it was great.

Breakfast was basic, we also had an awful smell in one of our toilets which we mentioned to staff and they put a lovely smelling diffuser in our toilet which did the job, thank you. Maybe needs update with new sheets and new towels.
