the villa is just wonderful! Except for the bed, everything was extremely comfortable. The entire place is very well maintained and sparkling clean throughout. We loved the size of the pool and how clean it was. The water temperature was perfect and it was a good size and nice and deep. The outdoor living area was so comfortable, with the couch having room for 2 people to both lie down, the dining table, the good cooking facilities, the full size and cold fridge, the microwave, the ceiling fan and the extra toilet in addition to the bathroom. The 2 sun loungers were very comfortable and a sun umbrella. Inside, the room was very, very spacious and we enjoyed the indoor lounge as well. I loved having the walk in wardrobe behind the bed so our messy stuff was hidden away from our view. The bathroom is huge with separate shower, separate toilet and a beautiful marble bathtub. The daily house keeping was excellent and the standard of cleaning is fabulous. The staff were all lovely and friendly and we enjoyed a few good conversations with the lovely reception lady, Tika (I hope I spelt it correctly). Location is good - very close to plenty of shops and restaurants but in a quiet lane away from the road. Access to the beach was easy, about 5 - 7 minutes walk via the locked gate of their sister villas over the road. We've stayed in 5 other villas over the last 5 weeks and this was absolutely the BEST! We will definitely come again, provided we can be sure no families with screaming kids would be staying at the same time. :-)

~ The bed mattress is hard and lumpy. New king size beds would be a serious improvement! Simple topper pads for the existing queen beds would also help big time. ~ There are 2 turtles kept in a concrete bunker style 'pond' in our villa. It was very distressing watching them trying to climb out and beg for food. It's very, very, very cruel to keep any animal in a prison like that. ~ A very LOUD family in a neighbouring villa had a couple of small kids who constantly had tantrums or cried at 100 decibels or shouted. The staff had no control over this, though they did ask the people to be a bit quieter. The villas would benefit from having a 'no kids under 10 years' policy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa itself was secluded, private and quiet. It has everything you need. Clean, spacious, outdoor lounge and kitchen next to pool. Kitchen has cooking equipment, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave, stovetop, full size fridge/freezer etc if you want to cook etc. I noticed each villa is a slightly different design/layout. The staff were incredible. We had breakfast cooked for us every morning. Order the night before. Rooms cleaned daily, linen replaced. The location is close to everything you need. Able to walk, but the villa has bicycles you can borrow for free to get around. They even had a bike with a baby seat. Our 2 year fit comfortably.

Nothing.

The location is really incredible. You can move freely with your own feet, which is a complicated mission in Bali... The villa was very decent. The pool big and clean, the room and toilet enormous, the kitchen also spacey.

The staff is not incredibly welcoming but maybe it was our perception considering the extreme sympathy in other parts of Bali. The outside space is a bit weird, you don't have a lot of margin to enjoy after a refreshing splash in the pool. Maybe the room and the toilet should be considerably smaller to allow more breathable space near the pool. The kitchen could use more cooking material. The point of renting a villa is to be able to prepare at least some meals, so you would expect more cooking tools to do it. The windmill outside is placed directly above the table, so when on, all your food starts to fly away... for the price you would also expect some plugs anti mosquito since it's a very aggressive area for mosquito attacks during the night. So don't forget some spray!

Just came back after 7 nights. Highly recommend. Staff are fabulous, such a handy location and pool is huge. Very well maintained for an older villa and exceeded our expectations and it is very large. Cut through Icon to the beach, very quick. Surrounded by money changers, restaurants and shops. Management should be very proud of their amazing staff who made our stay such a wonderful experience. Breakfast was always fresh and cooked beautifully in your villa each morning. Cannot wait to return to Ellora Villas and Sanur

My only negatives are toiletries could be better like the addition of hair conditioner and sometimes a little noisy at night from dogs barking and motorcycles but nothing extreme.

We travelled as two couples and had the two bedroom villa with private pool. It was fantastic -spacious and clean. Each morning the staff cooked us breakfast (at whatever time we asked for) in our own villa. The breakfast included choices of eggs and bacon with fresh fruits, juice, bread/toast, croissants and tea/coffee * or of the above. We were a short stroll to shops and restaurants, and just a few minutes walk (through one of the other hotels) to Sanur Beach and LOTS more shops and restaurants.

The outdoor shower was at the back of the villa, so we had to go thru the room to use it? it would have been so much better next to the pool. The bedroom doors were difficult to open and close. These were only minor issues and didn’t really affect how our stay went.

Villa Ellora was exactly as advertised, we booked the 1 bedroom villa and it a pleasant experience from check-in to check out. We especially like that it was a private villa but you could have some of the services of a hotel (breakfast made for you, regular cleaning, laundry service, and room service from their restaurant). The villa was clean, spacious, well decorated and well maintained. Location was also good as it was away from the busy street but not too far away from good restaurants, shops, ATM, convenience store, etc. The property also had an access door closer to the beach. It was a perfect stay for us.

Only thing we would like to improve is maybe a bidet in the toilet :)

Rooms & bathroom were massive Pool was amazing Air con was so cold We didn’t use the kitchen but it had everything you needed if you wanted to cook The staff were so helpful with requests e.g helping book fast ferries to Nusa Lemongan, ordering food, local information etc They truly went above and beyond Safe was good! Fairly central location, short walk to restaurants.

I would have liked an actual lock on the door as when you are inside and just using the latch to lock the door it felt the door could just be pushed and there was a gap to have a look inside. It wasn’t a deal breaker but I like to swim naked so like that added bonus of complete privacy. A few cockroaches, nothing to bad.

Great location, well appointed villa. Court yard pavers were mouldy and when wet were very slippery to the point we both slipped and fell while staying at the villa.

Location - beach and restaurants. The villa also offerred bikes ofr use during the stay which we used and enjoyed riding along the foreshore paths.

(Villa I) The private pool and outdoor area were much bigger than expected (about 10 mtrs in length) and felt so spacious. The pool also recieved good sun, so you could swim at any stage of the day/night. Having a second toilet was a bonus also. The villa inside also had plenty of space. I had booked it for the outdoor features, which I was super happy with. It was also quiet, we couldn't hear any traffic

The pillows. Way too high for the mattress. The mattress also a bit to hard (get used to it) ...but these things are subjective

The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and respectful. They were always available to answer any questions and give advice. The location was great being tucked away down the end of the lane. It gave some peace and quiet from the busy main street. Only a short walk to the beach and a secure place to park my scooter very close to my villa. I also liked that there were very few, if any, bugs in my room and yard. Close to lots of great choices for eating breakfast through to dinner from 6am onwards.

I had some trouble with the wifi, but this may have been due more to my own device settings. It would have been good if the TV was bigger but there were so many nice things to do round about, including using my private pool and sitting outside under the fan reading that I only used the TV once in 11 days.
