This was our second stay at Semaranda. Cheap accommodation in the centre of the tourist hub. Large rooms with kitchen. Staff are fantastic and friendly and keep the place beautifully clean.

Arrogant Australian couple who sat at breakfast table, claimed to be long time experts on Indonesia, loudly advising other Australians on how untrustworthy Indonesians are, and in particular blamed moslems for changing Bali for the worse. Naive fools, knew nothing of Indonesia other than the tourist spots, couldn't speak a word of Bahasa, and need to be culturally sensitive and understand that Indonesia is a religiously tolerant country, and Australia has far more seedy types per capita than Indonesia has ever had.

Great location very close to most things in Sanur . Great team all doing their best to help you where needed

Only some feedback really to improve on an already very good place : - some background music around the hotel would be a nice touch keeping a chill vibe with either local Balinese style or chill cafe type music. - an additional clean of the pool midday would keep it sparkling all day as the tress do drop stuff ( it is already cleaned morning and night but and additional skim would make it really good ) Some of the matteress’s could be due for an upgrade Other than that really good !

The Place was nice enough for the money. The rooms while dated, were ok. Mattress was on the older (softer) side but still comfortable. Price was around $35/night in December. Reception doubles as the kitchen and the staff as the cooks, but it works and Breaky was satisfactory all be it basic, made to order menu. AC was great and the room quite. The pool was great and we had a dip. Location is the key here.. Directly down a lane opposite Icon Sanur, Close to Night market and local warungs and through the mall to the beach..

Totally not a negative about the Hotel, more its location. When it rained, the laneway leading to the hotel floods and there is a 10m long puddly that you cannot avoid walking through. You have options to walk a very long way around if you want to keep dry feet.

Staff were friendly, helpful, welcoming & very accommodating. Couldn't do enough for you! Carried our suitcases upstairs for us. Breakfast was included & good value. Luved my pancake - so soft & fluffy. Pool was clean, inviting and luved it. Provided swimming towels for our use. Staff let us put drinks in their locked fridge to cool them down. Safe on site for passports. Short walk to Sanur night markets & nearby shops.

The bed was king size which was great but we just found it too hard. AIr con & Fridge not cold enough. We asked staff & got to put out drinks in their fridge.

Swimming pool and breakfast were great! We had the studio on the second floor. It was spacious, very good airco and nice bathroom, with kitchen and refrigerator. Very good location! Right in front of the big mall, ATM, … and in 5 min you are on the beach. We had a late pick up from airport, Oka picked us up and made sure we got safe home. After my husband lost something at the airport, they drove back with us the next day and helped out. My son was sick and during the night they helped out with new linnen. Although not everyone speaks well English, staff does their best to accomodate. We recommend this place!!

I stayed here for my last night in Bali. Location is great for accessing the beach, last minute shopping, and good food, and it's a quick jaunt to the airport. The breakfast was really nice and I like the set up around the pool with the plants and the sound of the water. I think it's good value for a great price.

I was traveling alone with a small suitcase but if you were in a couple traveling with a couple of large suitcases, the room I was in might feel a little tight. However, if you were staying longer and had time to unpack, they did have an armoire in the room which would be helpful.

The staff were so lovely, every time I walked past the office they would say hello or good morning. They even offered me a beer the night before Galungan because they were celebrating. The pool was nice and the cleaning standards were good. It's a decent place for a good price, and it's in an excellent location, just across the road from icon mall but nice and quiet as it's down a side street.

The only thing I would give feedback about was the bathroom because there's no extractor fan. The moisture being trapped in there has made it a bit moldy and musty. It was clean, just a bit weather beaten.

Large bed in large room on the second level so could get some exercise using the stairs (no lift, staff happy to carry bags), Set back from the main road and quiet location down R.O.W. directly opposite Icon Bali, eateries and shops close by. Nice small pool with wide steps, great for kids and the not-so-mobile. Pleasant staff. Comfortable bed. Great hot shower. Reasonable value for money.

Bathroom looked a bit rustic but was clean and the water pressure of the hot shower was great. Would have been wonderful to have a more easily-accessible power point right next to the bed for charging the phone, and more counter space beside the bathroom basin. As a solo female guest, I'd've felt more comfortable returning at night if the whole of the R.O.W. was well lit rather than just in some parts.

This small property was operated by a dedicated team of young locals. They provided 24 hour reception and were at all times helpful, courteous and a pleasure to engage with.

The property exceeded our expectations and I have nothing to highlight in terms of areas to be improved. The cost was extremely fair, the support and service from staff was excellent and to draw attention to possible failings would be a level of pettiness to which I will not descend.

We stayed here for a week in a studio flat which was located in a quiet neighbourhood and yet close to everything. Room is good size, has large windows and small kitchen. Breakfast was very nice and you can choose from quite a few options. Staff was very lovely also. It’s a good place to stay if you ok that pool area not always be available to hangout around.

Air conditioning is not as strong for the size of the room, we kept on 16 degrees Celsius all the time and at times we felt quite warm. Bed matters needs to be changed for sure as you can feel it’s been used a lot. Also common space around pool is very tiny, we been unlucky that there was a huge family staying at the same time and they would occupy pool/ dinning areas and felt if we would be using those spaces we would interfere their private time. we would request breakfast to eat in the room as there were never space to eat at common areas and we used pool only once due to same reason.
