Loved everything about swastika Guesthouse. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The facilities are great and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was all we needed to start the day. The bar downstairs was a great place to meet people with atmosphere. Swastika is in the perfect location with Icon across the road and a short stroll to many great warungs, restaurants and the night markets. We will definitely be back.

The water pressure was a bit weak but was sufficient.

It was very central. The runs were really spacious bed was so comfortable. It was a lovely place to stay! The place was spotless the breakfast so good. It has a lovely relaxed feel to it, with seating outside the rooms also to relax. I would def come back

The water pressure was quite low for a shower & could have done with a new shower head. This is really the only thing I could say negative everything else was great!

A great little spot, with a nice bar and restaurant downstairs. Great food, and they do Room Service. Simple place and typically Balinese. Lovely staff. It's opposite the new Icon shopping centre. And you can walk through there to the Beach/restaurants. There's also a good supermarket in the Icon.

My first night room was very dark, so I managed to change to something brighter. The bathroom, as often in Bali, could do with a better scrub and the Towels need updating.

The rooms and bed were spacious and clean. There was cold air conditioning and a bathtub. Nice pool but a little warm. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of light coming into the room from outside and hard to sleep. There are a lot of stairs if you have an upstairs room. (Fortunately I was able to change to a downstairs one).

Excellent location, opposite Icon Mall, with an excellent restaurant at the bottom, close to the beach. The accommodation is not modern, but well maintained. Good breakfast. Good value for money.

More emphasis could be placed on cleanliness, it seems that they don't do thorough cleaning, although a simple descaling could improve the appearance a lot. The bathroom needs renovation for this reason (also). There was a lizard living in the room, which didn't bother us, based on experience, this is not a unique thing. It's not the accommodation's fault, but you have to expect noise from outside, even at night.

The rooms could do with a little bit of work.

The staff were all fantastic,polite and friendly and happy,breakfast was good,the place was clean and you could see they made an effort. Restaurant downstairs ,convenience store next door ,good walking distance to most things. The staff went out of their way to resolve my only real complaint and when l mentioned about the lights outside my room being left on most of the night they made sure they were turned off at a reasonable hour. There was also room service if requested. They also arranged transport to the airport and made sure l wasn’t going to be overcharged by the driver,so l was happy to give him extra. I would definitely go again and stay.

I didn’t like that light just poured into my room at night through vents on top of the windows and doors,this was fixed within minutes of me saying I wasn’t happy,there was mould in the bathroom but that’s not unusual seeing it the tropics, rain went onto the veranda tiles and they were extremely slippery. The place needs quite a few repairs but you could see that things were being seen to in Bali time and just some other cosmetic touch up needed. I wasn’t overly impressed with the noise coming from a venue close by at times .

Great Stay at Swastika Guesthouse, Sanur I had a lovely stay at Swastika Guesthouse in Sanur. It’s located in a great touristic area, just a short walk from the new Icon Bali shopping complex. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The guesthouse has nice swimming pool facilities, perfect for relaxing after a day out. It’s also very close to Dekko, one of the best restaurants and bars in the area—definitely worth a visit! Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient stay in Sanur.

Mosquitoes are a nuisance so make sure to have some antireppelant spray.

Convenient location.. close to beach. Restaurants.. Gardens and Pool area were beautiful place to chill. Staff were very helpful in anything I needed to know.

I stayed 4 times in between my trips to Ubud and islands. A friend was with me for 2 of the stays. It is value for money accommodation (incl b/f, which was basic but enough). The location is great. On the main road, close to numerous shops, restaurants and a few mins walk to the beach. Opposite the icon mall. A short taxi ride to Sanur Harbour. The rooms are basic but comfortable. All look similar inside. Bathrooms had plenty of amenities. There was a small pool, with loungers. Towels were provided. Wifi coverage was strong. Staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, kind, and considerate. Let me store my luggage in btwn my trips to elsewhere.

The shower in twin rooms did not stay up properly, and water splashed everywhere if you left it on the wall. Could only use as a hand shower. Mosquitos in 2 of the rooms (the twin rooms) - I did solve this by buying a mosquito repellent plug from the local supermarket (approx 22k to 25k idr) which worked really well. My friend fell near the reception area on one of the days and cut her knee (quite a deep cut). There was no first aid kit available at reception to clean up the wound and cover up the cut with a plaster.
