Breakfast was basic but suited me as I'm not a breakfast person. Plenty of good restaurants and warungs and the Icon shopping center to eat what you want. Coffee Balinese so if you don't like Bali coffee bring some you do like. Best coffee at Formers cafe just down the main road and they do a great breakfast too. Cheapest coffee at Cottee's in the Icon shopping center $2.40. ask for extra hot though. Gazebo hotel is old style and run down but the location is brilliant, the pools are great and so are the staff. I bought a local data sim for my phone so Internet was ok

Gazebo is quintessential Bali. Very traditional style of 40 years ago, This is something we really like about it. The location is terrific. Close to everything we want. The staff are lovely, friendly. Typical Bali. Will be returning in March 2025

The wifi is not good at all. I purchased an Indonesian tourist SIM.

Location is excellent. Right on Sanur beach, walk out from the restaurant and you are on the esplanade. Front end is on a main road, short walk to supermarkets. Short walk to night market. Gardens are beautiful. Pools clean. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. Cleaners came daily to my room. I paid extra and was in Joglo 1, traditional style bungalow. I loved it. Bed comfy, clean linen and towels. Private Roof balcony on bungalow was awesome. WiFi to my room great. Outdoor enclosed bathroom, step in shower. Old fashioned, but that's what I like.

Limited choice for breakfast. Rooms could do with a bit of maintenance, since Covid, but I'm sure they are doing the best they can. Kitchenette was not very practical, no bench space, but they did supply a kettle. Tv only local channels. Some rooms I heard had no WiFi, but mine was fine. Old fashioned, may not suit some people.

Location, location location - 100m south of the Icon, entry from street (Danau Tamblingan) and beachside. Staff friendly and helpful. It's a slightly old-fashioned place, so whingers will complain about slightly faded decor etc, but it's fine (we looked at the cheaper rooms and thought the extra Rp.90,000 per day for the junior suite well worthwhile beautiful gardens and two decent pools with lots of loungers, some in shade (but water rather warm!) Decent sized fridge, excellent a/c, beds and towels done daily (but see below for a minor niggle). Comfortable bed. We will definitely want to stay here when we are in Sanur. Decent if uninspiring restaurant, standard dishes at a modest price but glad we didn't take breakfast, looked pretty miserable, plenty of other places to eat.

Minor niggle: housekeeping a bit over-eager to get room cleaned earlier than we would have liked - we're on holiday, want to get going at OUR pace. But they eventually got the message, so no points off!

The gazebo is a lovely older hotel in Sanur. The gardens were lovely and pools ok. Needing new cushions for deckchairs. The family room we had was spacious and comfortable. Things were basic but we enjoyed. The air-conditioning was great. The fridge was big enough and all staff we came across we're friendly and helpful. The location is the best thing about The Gazebo.

Water pressure in shower was very weak.

Good spot. Just what we wanted and without the huge price tag. Room was perfect for our 3 kids and restaurant was good value. They looked after our bags as well for us while we spent a few nights out on the other islands

Where to start! Glorious gardens … secluded rooms… breakfast overlooking the beach… carved authentic wooden furniture… We have been coming here for years and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Access to beach and the Main Street.

Don’t expect to be in a very modern room. Hot water doesn’t always happen but it does eventually. If you want expensive and you could be in any city in the world then this is not the place for you.

The location is great, beautiful gardens and really nice pool. There are 2 pools but we only swam in the one up the beach end of the resort. The staff were lovely. We stayed in the Joglo (No 3) which had a little sitting area upstairs.

I didn’t dislike anything really, the resort is in need of updates and the shower wasn’t great but overall it is a great place to stay if you don’t mind “old”, clean and tidy and perfect location and not expensive.

The location on the beachfront is perfect. They have lounges for guests on the beach. It’s a central location with an easy walk to unlimited restaurants, shops and night markets. The traditional style Bali gardens are beautiful. There are two swimming pools situated either end of the resort. They need some TLC but are clean.

We stayed in two different rooms. The large villa style was very dark and needed lights on even in the day. Breakfast was very basic. Rooms definitely need some TLC.
