Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Out the front to the main street - and Icon Shopping Centre next door. Out the back to the beach path, cafes, markers etc.

The back entrance is a bit scary at night as you need to walk through the empty markets, and it is very dark and a bit creepy. But we just walked around to the front entrance either via the street at Sindu Beach (Jl Pantai Sindu) or through Icon Shopping Centre, so not really a big deal. Don't worry about being harassed by the market vendors, once they learn you are going to your villa, they will just say hello as you pass and not bother you to buy,

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with our family and a toddler. We all had so much room and privacy. The breakfast that was cooked for us was so filling and tasty. The private pool was clean and the filter ran all the time. The villas are next to the Icon shopping centre and close to the beach.

The tap to the bath didn't work. Reception sent a handy man but after he left it still didn't work. The outdoor shower had little or no hot water. You have to run the hot for a good 5 minutes and maybe get a little. The private back entrance through the property that leads to the beach was sketchy. It is through markets that are shut, run down, stank of rats and scary during the day. There is no way we would go that way after dark as there is no lighting. I would suggest walking through Icon to get to the beach.

The location is great. Private beach access through to the market. Staff are 5* friendly, helpful and professional. They went above and beyond. Villas were roomy and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. There's a gym out the front which is free for guests.

We had a few daily maintenance issues (shower tap running and handle coming off, dirty water into the bath, phone not working) They were all quickly fixed. Pool was a little chilly. In saying all that - I would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent. Quick walk through the back entry and the market to get to the beach. A polite “No thank you” to the market ladies and the humbug is kept to a minimum :) The villa is private and the staff do a great job keeping everything clean and tidy. The 1 bed villa has two buildings either side of the private pool, one with bedroom and bathroom, the other with kitchen, living and second bathroom. All the conveniences you need for a comfortable stay. Really lovely food and coffee options nearby. Our favourites were Warung Little Bird (across the road), great flavours, local Balinese food, amazing iced cappuccino! Over the Moon and The Glass House are also nearby and do wonderful coffee. Soul on the Beach for a refreshing coconut and a lovely meal.

The internet dropped out a bit which was a little annoying, but that was a minor thing. We really loved our stay.

Lovely private villa in a perfect location. The hosts ensure you’re comfortable and cleaners are in every day. Private gate to a path straight onto the beach (via markets), and a Warung across the road. This is a great location.

The villa shows its age a little, though certainly not run down. Our fan was either on or off, with no control so it was really unusable. The pool was a little disappointing as it would fill with dead leaves and pollen daily, due to the foliage in the garden. Staff would clean each day but by afternoon it was all back. Don’t let this stop you booking as it’s a great spot, but just being honest that the pool was below expectation.

This villa is great value for money. The private pool is lovely, location is excellent and we really enjoyed all the local restaurants. The staff were lovely and I was so surprised to get a birthday cake! We would absolutely stay here again.

Only minor things to mention are the bed is quite firm (common in Asia) but you can ask for a mattress topper. That helped a lot. As many others mentioned the shower is very low water pressure and the water is hard which is just something to be aware of.

Loved everything about this Villa. Location, reasonable price, cleanliness, amazing private pool. Close to Icon Mall, great restaurants & the beach. Very quiet & tranquil amongst the hustle & bustle of North Sanur. Highly recommend and we will return.

Only fault we could find was the aircon did struggle. Due to the large living/bedroom space, it could have used a second aircon in the room. We survived and wont let it deter us from returning

I liked the the location and that it had beach access. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I didn’t like how the doors didn’t completely shut which then allowed mossies to come in hence getting bitten. Pool tiles coming off bottom of the pool. Tiles around the pool were slippery. Shower head squirted every where.

Absolutely lovely staff & a HUGE villa with nice swimming pool. Breakfast was made to order every day and they also surprised my son with a birthday cake on his special day. A small problem with the plumbing was looked at VERY promptly by the on duty staff late at night & a plumber sent the following day to resolve more completely - you really can't ask any more.

Having to leave....3 nights was MUCH too short a time there.

- Great location, quiet but close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Private path (with locked gate) to rear of complex gives access to beach (although you have to run the gauntlet of shopkeepers to get there!) - Our one-bed villa (Villa C) was huge with a nice outlook to our private pool. - The pool was a good size and refreshingly cool in the heat of the day and evening. - Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. - The outdoor kitchen looked over the pool and was equipped with stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and basic kitchen utensils.

- Floor tiles were very slippery when wet particularly around the outdoor shower area. - The bed base (squeaked at the slightest movement) and mattress are past their best and could do with replacing. - A friendly warning...don't leave food on the kitchen bench overnight. We put most food in the fridge but left 3 bananas on the bench (wrapped in plastic) and the next morning we had one banana and some scraps left. Suspect the squirrels or bats may be the culprits! Not the fault of Ajanta but something to be aware of.
