good for value, have all the basic setup you need, friendly staff. pool & restaurant & wash machine, good and convenient.

The location is not perfect, if you want to go some where the traffic of the road is always bad. one thing not about the hotel, the currency exchange & scooter rental across the street are owned by criminals, they steal your money, don't get anywhere close to that shop. of all the people I met in bali, most are nice, but the owner of that shop is really bad.

The facility itself is great! Everything is kept clean all throughout the day, the pool has a nice size and the giant bean bags around invite you to hangout. The free breakfast is simple but tasty and a great gesture. Free water is also provided at any time. Showers are also stocked with free shampoo and body wash. The staff is absolutely exceptional! Such friendly people that remember your name after the first day and really want you to have a great stay. Thank you so much!

Privacy is an important issue for any backpacker as we rarely have any, so no privacy curtains on the bunk beds is a bit of a bummer. It would also be nice if there were a door to the restroom/shower area. Listening to strangers bowel movements isn’t super pleasant.

The room was a good size, even for 6 people (although for my stay we were often 3-4). Breakfast was enough to keep me full for a while so I was thankful for it, and the water section was great to keep my water bottle full. Plus the AC and wifi worked really well, especially the AC in my room sometimes had to be turned off during the night bc it got too cold. I gotta say thanks to the staff, especially the night receptionist who helped me whenever i had questions such as a good ATM to go to or if i could leave my suitcase while I was away in Nusa Penida (to later comeback to this b&b). but the biggest thing was on my last day checking out around 6am when i told him i was feeling stomach sick, hoping he had any pocari sweat or sports drink to sell, but since he didn't he gave me some medicine which probably helped me survive the whole day ahead to nusa penida and such. so I can't thank him enough for that. overall completely recomend this place and I'm happy I'm staying there again.

the only two things i can point out are sometimes the mugs weren't as clean as i wish. but mainly the fact that the bathroom area in the room doesn't have a door separating it so some of the noise/light gets blocked. the bathroom was really clean so the only small issue for me was no having an extra door between the spaces, but overall as i stayed in a girl's room that wasn't bas either.

I enjoyed my 3 nights here overall. The pool and the layout of the property is nice, and the breakfast included in the price meets the standard of what you’d expect (western style included eggs, 2 pieces of toast, and some fruit). I stayed in the shared dormitory, and I could say that the toilets/bathrooms could be taken care of a little more. The door’s squeaked along the floor when you opened them, and it seemed as if the hand towels for the sink were rarely replaced. Also there is building going on opposite the property at the moment which was quite loud at times (though this is no fault of the staff) but this is uncontrollable. To get properly in and around Seminyak square you would need a bike/grab/taxi but there were enough cafes/restaurants on the street to be satisfied. During the day it was nice and quiet, perfect for people who need a bit of time and space to themselves.

We stayed here at the beginning of our Indonesian holiday, and came back for a night before heading off too East Java. The best part of Gelatik is the extremely friendly & helpful staff. They looked after one of our cases as we travelled to Lombok, Gili Air & Nusa Penida, whiche we were really grateful for. The bedroom could be bigger, but it was okay, but the bed was very comfortable.

We generally prefer tea/coffee facilties in the bedroom, but it was very easy to nip up to the common area to make drinks. As I say, the bedroom could have been bigger, but no big deal.

Clean room with a good location, surrounded by many restaurants and close to the beach and yet quiet at night. The laundry is free and the staff was sooo friendly.

Good location, near the beach and a lot of food options while being on a side street so little noise. Facilities pretty good, room was a good size.

The curtains in the room could do with being darker, particularly given that the lights outside the room stay on overnight.

I stayed for 5 nights, and overall, everything was great. The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. I also met some amazing people during my stay, and we had great conversations every day, sharing updates about our travels. Every morning, Buri prepared a delicious breakfast, which made the experience even better. I was genuinely happy here. Thanks to everyone who made my stay enjoyable!

I didn't really like the shared areas. I wanted to work, but the chair wasn't comfortable. I needed to use the table, but the wooden chair could really use a pillow to make it more comfortable. Adding something like that would definitely make visitors happier.

The location, the staff, all of the outdoor areas. It is tucked away right on a main street, so it’s easy to walk towards anywhere you may want to go. It’s also close enough to Canggu to not get caught in too much traffic when wanting to travel up, among other lovely areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was simple and nice too !

The room I had was right in front of one of the common areas so I avoided keeping my curtains open, when is something I usually prefer to do. This just meant it was a bit darker than I’m used to, but there was no real need to stay inside much anyway.

I stayed at Gelatik Bed and Breakfast in a 6-bed mixed dorm, but I always shared the room with only 3 people, which made the stay quiet and comfortable. The accommodation was always clean, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, truly making a difference. A special thank you to Budi and Ayu from the breakfast team, who welcomed me with so much care and attention. The breakfast was delicious, always served with a smile and prepared with love. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to organize some activities for the guests, making use of the lovely pool area, which is such a great spot for relaxing and socializing. Overall, my experience was incredible: everything was clean, well-organized, and very cozy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back, well-maintained place to stay in Seminyak.
