We loved everything about this stay - the service was great, fresh cooked breakfast served next to the pool, 2 a/c’s in the room kept us cool out of the heat, great size bed and living space too. The absolute star was the pool though… absolutely huge, perfect temperature and half is always in the shade throughout the day! We had such a relaxing stay and would definitely come back!

It would be great to have a fan in the shower/toilet area, just to get some air movement in the humidity. The walls and pool could do with a paint/refresh soon as well.

⸻ There is a lot of rust in the main bathroom. The shower makes an annoying and very loud noise when turned on, so the bathroom needs maintenance. There is no lock in the master bedrooms, which means no privacy. The kitchen equipment is only suitable for two people, not for six as expected for a villa of this size. There is no microwave, which is a very important point. The staff member who welcomed us and introduced the villa was not friendly; he spoke to us in an aggressive manner regarding any potential damages, and we did not like his attitude. The rest of the staff, however, were very nice. The bathtub light cannot be turned off.

Ziva Villas met very expectation. The staff were so lovely and helpful, we were able to check in about 2 hours early. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom is outside but we enjoyed that aspect. There is a big mirror in the room so you can do hair and make up without getting sweaty. Everything was private and felt like we were completely alone. Our room was cleaned every day while we were out, with all amenities being replenished. Room service was affordable and delicious. The wifi worked perfectly and there was a smart TV in the room. Ziva is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed, we definitely plan on returning!

The villa layout is lovely with lots of windows. The pool was extremely large but difficult to get into from the bathroom as the steps were very high. You could only get in the pool from the bathroom. the beds were very comfy and we had breakfast delivered to our villa and it was hot and very good. Pool lounges were comfortable. Pool towels great.

As you only could get in the pool from the bathroom on exiting the pool it was very difficult not to flood the bathroom., It was strange as the pool lounges were on the opposite side of the pool. The shower and toilet is in the same area and when you had a shower you flooded the entire floor toilet end. Also we didnt mind, but there is no door for privacy to the toilet.

The size of the villa was perfect for us 3 adults and 2 young children. The swimming pool was beautiful and cleaned all the time. The private garden area was beautiful and perfect for the kids to play. There was also an indoor lounge area with TV for the kids to play inside when it was too hot. The in room dining was great.

The kitchen facilities were difficult with 2 young children. We needed to ask for utensils and the kitchen is outdoor so not ideal for mosquitoes.

Location: The property is a 5-10 min walk away from the main market, La Favela, the shopping street, and some brilliant eateries. Grocery stores are at a stone's throw distance. A massage parlor is right outside the property. Villa: Beautiful private villa with a lot of greenery around, perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway, with all essential amenities. We have stayed in other villas in Bali before, but Ziva villas are the best managed and maintained in the heart of the city. Housekeeping had arranged a beautiful flower arrangement for us when we arrived. The swimming pool was big enough for a couple, and the kitchen had all the essentials for someone to cook a small meal. The room was not only perfectly designed but we were also provided with speakers to play our music while we chilled in the pool. F&B: We ordered dinner 1 night and their floating breakfast on Day 1. The breakfast spread was superb. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff: Very polite and helpful for all our requests. They made our stay super comfortable. Housekeeping service was prompt and they kept our villa clean every day.

Since everything is open and outdoors, this villa is essentially for a couple. The mosquitoes and insects in the outdoor/open bathroom and pool areas were quite a nuisance. While the staff helped us by installing mosquito coils on our every request, we required a continuous supply of those at all points of the day to step outside the room.

Villa pool is large and overall a really spacious villa. The location is central and you can walk everywhere you need. Loved that there was 4 separate spaces (3 bed, 1 TV room and then outdoor kitchen). Highly recommend for a family or even 3 couples.

The bathrooms and some furniture were a bit dated. It was still comfortable though. Bathrooms are outdoor so lots of mosquitos and def need to keep the doors closed!

Villa pool was much bigger than expected, the room was so spacious and the outside bath was beautiful. It was SO quiet, even though other villas were occupied we heard no noise and no street noise. An easy walk to the main Eat St in seminyak without being ON that street.

LArger selection on the in room dining would be good and nets around teh bed for protection from mozzies that get in through the sliding doors

Beautiful villa. Great sized pool and lovely gardens. The spa next door was wonderful.

Reception was a bit sad and the pool side deck needed some maintenance (we got a few splinters). I thought the main bathroom was enclosed when we booked, but it is open. I always want a air conditioned bathroom.

The one bedroom villa was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of seminyak. I was working remotely for part of my trip so wanted pool etc nearby for my online breaks. I felt I was in my own little world, with fantastic service within arms reach. The staff are super friendly. The pool is miles bigger than most other villas offer. Breakfast is good. Room service dinner was fine. Nearby to many amenities. I didn't walk anywhere as taxis are pretty cheap. I wouldn't fancy doing the 20-30min walk to the beach. Highly recommend.

All was perfect for me. I'd maybe include a stand alone room divide / screen for the toilet area. I was travelling solo so wasn't an issue. But if my partner or a friend was with me, then it would have been a little awkward being that exposed with no option to close the toilet off.
