I absolutely loved my stay here, it is situated in the tranquil beautiful ubud jungle with amazing views and sounds. I was a bit worried the accomodation would be hard to reach and in an unsafe location when I read other reviews, but it’s super easy and cheap to order grabs/gojeks and get into the centre. The staff are the kindest, most lovely people I have encountered in Bali (and I’ve met many!). They arranged an early breakfast (which is really good!) so I could visit a waterfall early hours and sorted a transfer with a family member who was so accomodating and made me feel very safe. They went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable and happy and were very quick to response to messages/requests. The room was great for the price and the cleanliness was above usual standards. The pool area is so beautiful and private, I really enjoyed relaxing here after a long travel. I will stay here again if I visit Ubud ✨

From rainy forest, to chirpy birds and even monkeys, the property is surrounded by nature with incredible sounds! The place to wind down and connect with nature is indeed here! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and compared to the hustle from the rest of Bali, Angsoka is easily a place thats disconnected enough to wind down. Even a walk down the street to enjoy cooking classes nearby is a breeze!

The terrace ceiling had many termites that leave little wood chips everywhere, if you dont mind wiping the floor once in a while its all fine! Our shower unfortunately had no real vent to the outside so moisture just stayed in one place throughout our stay that caused all our laundry to be moist over time.

Stunning location with view from the infinity pool right into the jungle. Modern, clean and comfortable rooms. The bathroom is open to the main room, a circumstance that may not suit everyone. Breakfast was fine. Quite if you want to escape busy Ubud.

Apart from breakfast, there are no food options at the property itself, which means you need to go by scooter or car through the heavy traffic in and around Ubud every time you want to visit a restaurant. This pictures give the impression that the hotel offers yoga classes, however, unfortunately that was not the case during our stay. Spa treatments offered at the hotel are insanely expensive considering the price level that Bali has otherwise.

If I could give this accommodation 1000 of 10, I would. This was so far the best hotel we ever stayed in in our entire lives. It is so calm and peaceful, we felt like we're the only one in a whole hotel. Even though there were three other couples, we were always alone by the pool - which is absolutely incredible. Whole staff, especially Cynthia, was so nice, doing maximum they can to make your stay most special. Breakfast were also very tasty, enough diverse for 5 days stay. Rooms are well-furnitured and amazingly clean! We haven’t seen such a cleaness in whole Indonesia. Thank you again for such an incredible stay. We will never forget it.

Location: the bungalow was about 2km of a typical Bali narrow and hilly road from the centre of Ubud so you either need a scooter or use taxi to get to city and back, but it was not a problem at all. Because of being slightly out of Ubud, it felt like you are in a paradise, no noise except all the birds and frogs etc. Hosts: Well, I can't speak highly of them all, so thank you very much hosting us. They were all so friendly and helpful, even offered to pack the breakfast on those mornings when we left the place like 2am to go to other parts of the island for extra activities. Poolside was a great addition to the whole setup, too.

Hmm, not much to add here. Ideally, it would have been nicer to be closer to town, but you can't have it all. Would we stay there again? 100%

We stayed in the Deluxe room where you have a very beautiful view. We spend quite some time at our terrace ( or at the pool), to enjoy the green view, sound of the animals. And we even saw quite a lot of monkeys. The room is very spacious and clean. The shower is excellent and the bed is really comfortable. Cynthia and here staff will take very well care of you. We booked a tour with Cynthia’s husband; I would certainly recommend that. He is a great driver and a very good guide who can tell you quite some background information. We loved spending our time here; outside of busy Ubud.

We loved the fact that it was remote, the only thing that wasn’t clear for us, is that the restaurant isn’t really a restaurant. They provide breakfast (which is very nice by the way), but no lunch or dinner. You can easily use Grab delivery for that; there is a lot of choice. Our you take a taxi/grab or drive a scooter to Ubud for lunch or dinner.

Very good, spacious and clean rooms with amazing views on jungle and ceiling fans (top!) Everything was covered with mosquito nets, so no mosquitos or geckos (they are cute!) went in. Nice green territory. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very calm green area. Buildings and territory are separated in the way so we haven't seen our neighbours too often.

No in-house launch and dinner options available. Nothing from restaurants in the area. Only ways - to go to the city centre or to order through Grab. The Internet was laggy sometimes.

It was a real delight to be waking up to the jungle view during our stay. Super helpful and friendly staff

Due to the damp climate, the room and bed linens of first smelled a bit. The staff quickly came to replace the sheets and brought a humidifier, and the problem was solved. The location is far from the centre of Ubud, although we knew, we didn’t realise how terrible traffic is in Ubud. Lots of time in the car, every time we went out. The room was old and the blind in the bathroom is mouldy. The property overall didn’t seem to be well maintained. They just look good in the photos from afar, but once you get there, you can see the details aren’t too great.

Hotel is stunning. Amazing swimming pool overlooking the jungle. The rooms are clean, the shower is very nice, the beds are comfortable. It is such a beautiful place that you could not stop photographing it. The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared every morning.

Ubud city center is not within walking distance. The road is short, but very dangerous and very downhill. There are no restaurants within walking distance and safely nearby. The problem can be solved by renting a scooter or taking a taxi for a few euros.
