Everything from beginning to end. The definition of excellency. During whole stay they treat you like you are the most important guest there! Everything you can imagine they will fulfill. Location of hotel is amazing. In the middle of the pristine nature (jungle), surrounded by beautiful tropical forest, with cute monkey visitors. The hotel is well equipped with all you need. They have beautiful pool overlooking canyon where you can relax, or if you prefer every villa has they own. Spa offers variety of treatments which we used few times (and we were truly satisfied- special thanks to Juli and Sofia). There is possibility of morning yoga or gym (anytime). Hotel offers pick up at airport, and we also used their driver to go to our next destination in Seminyak Beach (we definitely advise you to do that to avoid taxi bargains) . Also there is free hotel shuttle services to and from Ubud city center which we found very convenient (if you want to do some shopping or local dining). While we stay there we got recommendations for day/half day trips around Ubud. Hotel organized private driver and guide for us (amazing Mr.Yogi, who, as a local, showed us more than we can get from any other tourist company, with hidden gems, skip the line access to major sights, and we finished day in one of the most beautiful jungle observation deck drinking Luwak coffee). Let me tell you more about food. Breakfast is breathtaking (rooftop terrace overlooking jungle and whole resort) and delicious (many options, all customized for you). All staff there were so nice and caring (specially Ina). For all this impressions we would like to thank Niki and Adi (reception) who made this vacation like a dream. I had the most incredible experience staying at The Kayon Valley Resort in Ubud. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly taken care of. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort is simply unmatched. The staff were beyond amazing—warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making my stay unforgettable. Their kindness and dedication shone brightly, especially during the New Year’s party, where their happiness and hard work created such a joyous atmosphere. It was heartwarming to see how much they cared about ensuring every guest had a memorable time. The resort itself is a tranquil paradise. The beautifully designed villas, surrounded by lush greenery, create a perfect retreat for relaxation. Every little detail, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, made me feel like I was in a true sanctuary. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, comfort, and impeccable service, The Kayon Valley Resort is the one. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

Just beyond the expectations. I had a chance to stay 4 days at kayon valley. Breakfast, food, room, service, smiling faces, view, coctails, spa actually everything was soooo perfect. You are in a magical jungle Just outside of the Ubud (10 min by car) I would like to thank all the employees specially Nano and Iko for this magical experience. Also I had to find a chance to hire best driver in Ubud - Dek Tra for a day trip around temples🙏 I would love to come back here

Recently, we stayed at the Kayon Valley Resort. Resort is conveniently located and has got great views of the jungle and mountains. The location is very peaceful and away from hustle and bustle. The property was clean and offered all amenities, overall our stay was super comfortable. The restaurant serves good food with ample options for vegetarian or vegan. The staff at the Resort is very friendly, helpful and cooperative. The initial information about the Resort and overall about Bali was provided to us by very informative staff Rusdi. He was very helpful and provided good information about Bali. Thereafter, we were taken care by another super helpful and very informative staff Yogi. Big thanks to him, he took great care of us and shown us various places across Bali, Yogi is a very nice and safe driver. Most of the staff at the resort can communicate well in English, which also helps a lot.

Nothing specific. The resort might not be suitable for elderly or children as one has to climb steep steps which might be inconvenient

The pool villa was just a delight. It's clean, peaceful, perfect place to relax & meditate in front of the private pool while watching the jungle. There are sunbeds near the pool, as well as a sofa and a table where you can chill under the shadow. Hotel's restaurant is one of the best in Ubud. We ordered breakfast to the room once, the service was perfect. We felt extremely safe and at home during our short stay at Kayon Valley Resort. The staff was very responsive and determined to help us with all our needs. Hoping to be back!

The stay exceeded my expectations, and I could see myself staying here again. The free-flow breakfast was ala-carte, and it has a plethora of choices to select from. The view from the breakfast area was also great because it was filled with greenery, which brought upon a sense of serenity. I love the interior of the room and really appreciate that there was a private pool even for the standard rooms. Check-in process was easy and smooth. We were offered welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch

I wish the gym was more well equipped with heavier free weights. It would also be great if sanitiser and towels are offered, so that gym users could wipe the equipment before using for hygiene sake. Additionally, I felt the gym was not as clean as I had hoped, as there were plenty of ants and some used paper cups near the windows. That being said, this should not be a deal-breaker if you do not intend to use the gym.

The view at this hotel was absolutely breathtaking taking. The restaurant looks over the jungle and pool. Poolside menu was decent. Portions could be bigger…staff is very attentive. Good pool. Good proximity to ubud town and a convenient free shuttle via air con van several times a day. Also they offer to shuttle you for free to their sister property the kanyon jungle resort to use their amenities. Fruit bowl in the room nice touch. Breakfast is a la carte and was good.

Don’t love when staff come around at breakfast to sell you spa packages and activities private pools were cold if you don’t like cold plunge. Lots of leaves around the private pool, could be more on top of cleaning the private pool of leaves and bugs. Dinner at the restaurant was disappointing

Amazing reception at the resort by their staff, welcome drinks and they took their time to go through things and helped us plan our day. Our luggage was sent to our rooms and then eventually their buggy took us to our room with the butler who then showed us around the accommodation too. The villa itself, OMG, breathtaking. The room was beautiful. The bed was massive, the ceiling was high with nets hanging around it, lighting all around. Beautiful long bathroom with bathroom next to the window with that view. The outside space no different. Dining and small kitchen area all well equipped. The infinity pool and jacuzzi and again, that view of the forest. Just in complete awe still that we got to stay there. Their staff were exceptional from the reception, butlers, security, drivers, restaurant staff and even the spa masseuse. Took special care of everything. No where in the world have we stayed and received that quality of customer care. The food in the restaurant all tasted amazing. Fell more in love with Indonesian food there. We also made it to one of the Balinese night experiences which was also beautiful. They also have this communal infinity pool that is just stunning. Somebody please let me go back!!! We were so sad to leave.

Amazing views both from the villa and the main pool/ restaurant. Super quiet and jungle feel, despite being just a bit out of the center of Ubud, Great place to relax after a busy day visiting around. Food in the restaurant was great - both for breakfast and dinner, although I would still recommend going to Ubud for a better Bali feel. But if you want a more tranquil/ romantic dinner - the restaurant is great. We had a great half day tour organized by the place - Yogi was an amazing guide - takings as through all the steps for the water purification ritual in Tirta Empul temple. Thanks a lot for this! For travel to and from Ubud center just take Grab - best scooter - fast and costs literally cents. Generally, a great place to explore Ubud from but be away from the noise and crowds in the center.

There was a bit of a delay with the check in which is already quite late but that is a minor thing. They just wanted to make sure the room is properly ready,

Wonderful staff, super helpful, kind and make every effort to make your stay enjoyable. Everyone from the reception staff, housekeeping, grounds staff were excellent. Special mention to the entire restaurant staff who were absolutely amazing, especially Oka who knew our coffee preferences by day 2, went out of her way several times (providing us an extra takeaway coffee as we were rushing to meet our driver) and who was so lovely to talk to. The rooms are beautiful with amazing views and the outside private pool area is just gorgeous. The gym was also super clean and new.

Two things we would change. 1. The number of "ads" around the hotel for extras took away from the scenery and cheapened the experience. 2. The main pool hours are far too short. During prime daylight hours in Bali, many people want to go out of the hotel. Closing the pool at 6 pm (before sunset even) is silly.
