This lovely place is held by a local family that is absolutely adorable. The girls working there are very friendly and although not all fluent in English, they do their best to understand your needs and help. The pool is clean, the room is also great. Beautiful view on the rice fields. You can also rent a scooter at the hotel - which you will need to get to ubud center. Location is perfect if you want to be surrounded by green and in a calm area. Also, very cute cats on the property 🥰

As for many hotels in this price range in Bali, the bathroom doesn't meet western standards. But the water pressure is good and there is hot water.

The staff, large room size, quiet but central location and price are incredible. Breakfast is delivered to your room at whatever time you wish and is delicious. The bed is also super comfortable. This is our second time staying there and it truly is worth every penny spent. The staff makes you feel like family. They made everything super easy from checking in to arranging the motorbike rental.

My experience at Tantra House Ubud was amazing! It is outside of Ubud center but not to far. It was quiet and peaceful and had a restaurant right around the corner. One night, I did not want to go to town and asked the family running the place if they wanted to play cards. We played cards for a long time which was a really enjoyable experience! I would recommend this place 10x over to anyone!

rice field views and very quiet. room was good size, lovely balcony overlooking the pool and rice fields. Good AC, good hot water. breakfast delivered to your room. staff was very friendly. only 4 rooms (4 more being prepared) so it’s a low key place. fresh towels daily

it’s very isolated. but a bit of of a walk to neighborhood restaurants and, though cheap, the food was fair only. if you don’t have a. bike you need to order Gojek- and there is usually a wait for cars. 10-20 minutes into central Ubud depending on traffic. Went in daily so add 120,000 Rps for Gojek.

big, spacious rooms and a nice, clean pool

the location is quite a long way from the centre so there is nothing much within walking distance. It's a 10 minute scooter ride into town, which isn't ideal when it's raining (which it did throughout my stay).

Absolutely amazing. After months traveling around SE Asia this place is in our top 3. The location (beautiful and quiet), the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was amazing and the people working there adorable. It couldn’t have been more perfect ! There are also great Warung nearby !

Nothing at all

The view from our balcony was so nice. During night you can hear the crickets. Great cute breakfast on your balcony. The cute cat. The nice family that owns the accommodation. Mosquito net around the bed.

No window in the bathroom. It is far from central ubud but we rented a motorbike so it wasn’t a problem for us

Great location, away from the busy roads but still pretty close to central Ubud. We stayed for a week. You are surrounded by rice fields, so very nice view from your balcony or when you're having a breakfast. Room was really spacious, sunny and super comfortable beds. Wifi is great for those who need to work! Staff was amazing as well, although they don't speak english. Breakfast was really good, we always had an omelette, you get a coffee/tea and some fruit as well.

The bathroom could use a proper deep clean.

Gojek and grab apps doesn't have Tantra houses location name. If you use these apps you have to select location yourself in the map by looking at the Google map or you have to show it to drivers etc in Google maps.

Location was right in between rice fields. Bit away from main centre, you can take rental bike at property and reach UBUD centre in 5 mins. Fixed Breakfast was excellent. At this price, I couldn’t ask for more. Nice swimming pool.

Everything was fine. Needed little more cleanliness in kitchen area.
