We stayed at Griya Private Villa for four nights with our family and had such a relaxing and memorable experience. The villa was set in the peaceful countryside, offering a quiet escape from the busy tourist areas. The space was beautiful—spacious bedrooms, a private pool, and all the comforts of home at a great price. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay feel extra special.

The only small downside was that the shower had a bit of trouble draining and the water pressure was a little low, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it for families looking for a peaceful Bali getaway.

The overall property was very nice and we had a comfortable stay. The location could be a little more centric from the main market area and may have some nearby shops etc.

The breakfast was ok and it could include more quantity and varieties, also the care taker (Puttu) could be more helpful in terms of being around the property, the help was only available in the morning time around breakfast. Also, when asked for more quantity, we were told that it was chargeable. This could be listed on the site itself at the time of booking, so the customers are aware prior to booking the property.

I actually had to cancel my booking due to personal reasons shortly after arriving at the place. The care taker helped us with a driver for us to reach the town centre. Special mention to the driver who was very accomodating and helpful. Even though the free cancellation period was over, the owner was.gracious enough to refund one night stay which shows their commendable respect towards the customers. Kudos for that. Coming to the place,. it is great for people loving a peaceful and private time away from the main town hustle and bustle.

The villa was very beautiful and comfortable. It included breakfast and Putu the Cook was very friendly and menú accommodating, it was always delicioso. The villa also has a private driver service that can take you every where you want to go and he can charge per single ride service or you can hire him for a full day 6 to 10 hours. The driver name is also Putu and he just lives next door for grester convenience. He is also excellent and could help you plan a full itinerary of places to show you with excellent choices where to eat.

The only bit of inconvenience was that it was not on one of the main roads for walking and shopping but again having the driver next door compensated for that specially since his fee was very affordable and the heat outside was quite bad to be walking around.

We had 2 villas, Villa 1 and Villa 2. The pools in both were great. The rooms were clean and the staff were great, very friendly. Breakfast was made for you in your villa at the requested time. Very peaceful area outside of Ubud. So if you want to see something, you have to go by car.

There was a big difference between Villa 1 and 2. Villa 2 was very good. Villa 1 had a dirty kitchen. The utensils and glasses hadn't been cleaned in a while. Also toaster and coffee machine were moldy.

Lovely spacious villa and pool area, the chef Putu made us decent breakfast every morning and he was very kind and polite.

The beds were very hard, the pillows too high for my liking and the AC was just above the bed which made sleeping with AC on very cold. The location required us to have to book a taxi every time as the access by foot on the hilly and poorly lit roads would have been unsafe for pedestrians.

Property is beautiful. It is located only a short drive away from Ubud centre, which costs between £3-£5 per taxi ride. The on site driver Putu is available to take you whenever you wish and pick you up for a good price. The Villa is fantastic and the pool lovely. We were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great stay at griya private villa, beautiful location and some great views from the pool. Putu driver and Putu chef were both amazing and really looked after us for our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Slightly out of the town centre of ubud, however putu is great and was able to drive us in each night.

Loved the ambience and secluded area - peaceful at night no traffic and not busy with other tourists - The local cat was amazing and gave us company
