We stayed in 3 of the villas, over 2 weeks time. Waduri was our favorite because there was less road noise in that one. The staff is fantastic, and Niloo was very attentive to needs or concerns. This very high end, exquisite property is overlooking a deep canyon with a river that roars after a hard rain. Monkeys visit regularly! You’d think you were in heaven, if it wasn’t for the extremely busy road on the other side of the canyon. It’s the road that passes Maya, to get to Cahaya Induh Villas.

The very taxing road noise. We sleep with high decibel ear plugs, but would be woken up often by trucks or Harley Davidson type engine noise.

Absolutley the best Villa in the area! It exceeded our expectations starting with the beautiful view of the forrest with a loft style living area. The layout was perfect with a comfortable bed, open kitchen, huge shower area, and a private entrance. The back patio was our favorite where we did Yoga every morning, swam in our own infiniti pool, and lounged in our second outdoor living room! We even saw monkey's from our backyard and while taking a shower. Reccommend ordering the floating breakfast! The service was perfect, and they can arrange everything from a personnal driver and excursions! Grab trips to the Ubud market was only $2.00 We will definately be back again!

Everything was perfect in our stay, the villa is so so clean and free of insects or anything harmful. The pool was always clean and so good with the view. It is also 10 mins away from Ubud city center which was perfect. The villa also had a kitchen which allowed us to cook and prepare quick meals. The wifi was just amazing and the villa was so quiet. I want to thank the team they were very helpful and welcoming thank you 🙏😊

The villa was lovely. The views amazing and very peaceful, didn’t see any other guests because of how private is.

It’s a bit far away of everything which makes it very difficult to walk specifically during the night. Unfortunately staff work just till 6pm so if you need anything after those hours you won’t find anyone around. I booked a massage session (which was just fine, in fact quite low quality) which was supposed to be done at the “spa room”, nobody was around because it was 9pm and I didn’t know where the spa was either the woman who came to give it to me . So spent like 10’ around looking for the room. After that I had an issue with the key which didn’t open so had to wait like 20’ for someone to come and help. The times which was supposed to be a relaxing moment turned to be quite the opposite.

This was by far the most luxurious villa we stayed at during our time in Bali. The facilities were outstanding, and the infinity pool on the terrace was beautiful. This is the perfect place to stay if you just want to relax on your holiday. On one of the nights, our room became infested with very small bugs, which are not harmful but are very annoying. The villa manager warned us upon arrival that this would occur if we left the lights on at night, but housekeeping was sent to our villa after hours anyway to vacuum them up, change our bed sheets and spray insect repellant. We were very grateful for this excellent service, which was maintained throughout our stay.

The entrance to the villa is tricky and difficult for drivers to find during pick-ups and drop-offs. Also, there is no streetlights in the road leading up to and directly outside of the villa. Ubud generally isn’t as busy and alive at night as other places we stayed in Bali, which we were disappointed by, and ended up staying at the villa for the majority of our time there. The villa is also right at the edge of the jungle, so the sounds of strange creatures and seeing many bugs and other creatures while taking multiple flights of steps up to the villa may be uncomfortable for some, particularly at night.

From the moment the booking was confirmed, NiLuh contacted me directly on WhatsApp to welcome me with a touching message and information about the villa and amenities and tour bookings, etc. Cahaya Indah is located on the slopes of Ubud's terraces, lush with greenery and our villa had complete privacy, the only neighbours being the curious monkeys (they kept their distance but said hello on our first morning), lush nature and vines teaming with life. The private pool was just 😘 The villa is quite spacious, with high ceilings and high built with quality fittings. Most kind and generous were the helpful staff. Tari, Willi and Putu and the massage therapists all went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Willi and Putu set-up the most gorgeous floating breakfast for us. Very talented. Tari made sure our checkout process is managed with a hitch. Our stay in Ubud was magical.

The property was clean and inviting.

The mattress needs replacing as it's sinking in the sleep zones. Salt and pepper would've been nice in the well equipped kitchen. Difficult to contact NiLuh, responds after a long time, we tried to order room service for dinner and were told the next morning that staff only do b/fast and lunch, if we knew this we would have eaten out. Tried to order transport and again NiLuh didn't respond for hours. Went outside and found Tari, she was great and ordered us a taxi.

Generously sized room with excellent privacy. Loved the water dispenser and great for hot day. All the necessary was provided incl bug lotions and sprays. Amenities were excellent and were beyond expectation.

Not at the fault of accomodation but by being near nature we had to be extra cautious to avoid bugs entering the property. There were steps to get up into the room which could be challenging for elderly but were fine for us.

This location is a hidden gem. It is nestled into a jungle setting and is private comfortable and well taken care of. The staff did an amazing job, making sure that we had everything that we needed and they went above and beyond our expectations. The villas are amazing, clean, And I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy Ubud. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for luxury, quiet, cleanliness, and an amazing, relaxing stay. There is nothing like swimming in an infinity pool overlooking the jungles.

Absolutely nothing lol

The setting is beautiful. The private pool is amazing. The size of the rooms. It was much bigger than i thought from the pictures.. The staff were amazing, communication from the time of booking all the way through was amazing. Everything they arranged for us from breakfast to massage to drivers and trips was great.

Not a problem for us since we used grab bike taxi but location is a bit out of Central Ubud and the traffic was heavy in the main part of Ubud so car taxi wasn't really a good option. Just something to note for future.
