A nice boutique hotel hidden away from the busy Ubud streets. The rooms are spacious and have balconies or outdoor gardens. The hotel is also relatively small with around 15 rooms, which makes it quite intimate. The staff was also exemplary and always ready to help out with whatever is needed. Also, the hotel offers a lot of services to enhance your stay like scooters for rent, organised day trips, laundry, etc.

The location on Booking is not the same as the location in Google Maps and we had to redirect drivers multiple times. The road to the hotel on both sides is of very poor quality. The bathroom facilities were wonky and need some adjustment, some pieces could fall in your hand.

The property is quite beautiful and all of the staff was really nice and helpful about everything. The pool gives bonus points to the property.

The breakfast is very delicious and well made, but the thing is that you can only choose out of 4 menus for the breakfast, and to be honest after the 3rd day the breakfast became kinda boring for me. Also the towels as well as the toilet could be cleaner but nothing to be disgusted about.

The accommodation is simply stunning, just like the pictures. Even though it was fully booked the entire time it never felt busy and it was so peaceful. The rooms themselves are big and clean and the aircon is really good. You had 4 choices for breakfast each morning and they were all delicious. The staff on site were extremely nice and accommodating. We did our laundry here and ate on site numerous times. If you want to go any where you will need a scooter or a grab but there’s a small warung next door which the food was amazing. If you want something quiet and good value for money, I’d recommend this. The jungle is very noisy but you get used to it! Would stay again

It was in a walking distance to Ubud city center. We could walk easily but to be honest the small street in where the hotel is dark and like a path but we didn’t feel unsafe although there were some constructions ongoing. The staff is very nice and friendly. We even learned few Balinese words. The food is decent for breakfast and dinner. The pool is clean.

There was an issue in the bathroom with the shower the first night we arrived. However, the staff fixed it when we asked for it.

Pool isn't as spacious as the photos make out The hotel is brand new in the photos and a lot more tired now (but really not that bad for the price). We underestimated the proximity of the hotel to the center and ended up having to get taxis every evening as the access road is pitch black at night. The above didn't bother us too much and this is reflected in the cheap price.

The room was big, clean and well decorated. The hotel is beautiful and the pool is amazing. The food from the restaurant was good and cheap. Overall, excellent value for money

Beautiful little place just outside Ubud. Walking distance to town but hotel offers to drive guests for a small fee. The unpaved road to the hotel is no issue at all (at least not during dry season). We preferred the room upstairs to those on the ground floor. Service and communication are both EXCELLENT! Lovely and helpful people all around. The manager gave us a small tour through Ubud and told us about some of the local projects they’re involved with. Great to hear from people who are looking out for the overall development of the area and local culture, rather than just in it for the profit. The whole team, from the security guy, both Risma & Ajus at the front desk also the manager Dewa were so friendly, and so helpful, we had a wedding to attend and it was during big ceremony day, they have arranged everything for me so i can be there on time while also still get to see ubud. They made my stressful day so easy, picking/driving us up from where ever we were and making sure the transfer were on time. On our hangover day after the wedding, they were also very accommodating, i cant complain about anything. Delicious breakfast delivered to our room with plenty of mineral water 😂 all of this were done with a big smile which we loved! Some guests complains about some animals in the room, like geckos, but they are meant to be all over ubud, since its located in the jungle. This is very normal and its caused by nature. Nothing to be scared of, its rather cute and beautiful! We’ll gladly come back next time in Ubud to Kandarpa

Nice quiet hotel and location, didnt have to fight over poolside chairs or finding somewhere to sit while dining. Food was exceptional and made to order fresh and reasonably fast.

The towels were clean, however could do with replacing as some were a little grey looking with some stains,

All the people who work there are very kind and helpful, they are attentive to everything.

The hotel is not exactly as it looks in the photos and it does not show you from the outside where it is located in an alley far from the main street and nobody knows how to get to that location, you always have to walk from there.

Everything was great. Rooms are cleaned every day, wifi is working ok and we haven’t had any bugs or lizards in our room (we’ve stayed on the top floor). You can also rent a bike at the property (all was in very good condition). Breakfast was good (you have 4 options, served with fresh fruits, juice, coffee/tea and croisants). Owner and staff was very friendly, communicative and helpful, especially Arisma - she is a real angel.

The road to the property is a little bit bumpy - but it’s close from the main road, so it shouldn’t be a problem for anybody. Also the view is not like in the pictures, because there is a new house next to the hotel - but it didn’t bothered us.
