I really loved my stay at this homestay in Ubud. It’s tucked away just enough to feel like a peaceful escape from the busy main roads, yet still super close to everything. Waking up to the jungle views each morning was such a highlight. The location is perfect — it’s just a short walk to the Yoga Barn, which made it really easy to catch classes without needing transport. There are also plenty of great cafes and restaurants nearby, so finding good food was never a problem. The staff here are genuinely friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home and were always happy to help with anything I needed. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable spot in Ubud with nature around and a great location, I’d definitely recommend this place!

The atmosphere, welkom very kind hosts, beautifull tradional housing, completely relax in a peacefull balanced stay ( away from still “bussy ” Ubud) Breakfast served as a handcrafted piece of art while monkeys can suddenly make their appearance too!!

The property is beautiful. The insides, the furniture looks new and stylish. The breakfast made to order is delicious and beautifully presented. I loved that it's very quiet, no street noise while also walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.

I had a wonderful stay at Praety Home Stay! The location is perfect — just a short walk from Ubud Palace and the market, yet the place is very quiet and peaceful. One thing I really appreciated is that the room stayed pleasantly cool even without using the air conditioner (I personally don't like it, so I kept it off the whole time) — and I still felt very comfortable. The breakfast was great every morning, and the garden is such a beautiful, calming space. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and quiet place in the heart of Ubud!

The place was in the center of Ubud so you can walk anywhere if you want. Also, even the Main Street was full of traffic and loud . When you enter the Praety home hotel all the bad sound goes away and you just feel relax and calm. The family was so nice and they ask us everyday how we feel. The breakfast was good especially the omelette was really tasty. We didn’t see bugs and it was a clean property.

They clean the floor everyday however they don’t change the bed sheets or the towels they gave you in the first place.

The room in Praety 2 was comfortable, with good aircon and the breakfast was really nice every day with lots of mains choices and fresh fruit/juices. The balcony is also really nice to have breakfast on or work from when it's raining. The room is in an excellent location in the centre of Ubud, so you can reach many destinations by foot, to either get some food or drink at local restaurants, visit the local attractions (like the Palace, Market or Monkey Forest) or to make your way to the Yoga Barn that's only a 12 mins walk. I would definitely stay here again. The owners are also super friendly and even let me amend my booking when I had to depart a couple of days earlier than expected.

The shower temperature can be a bit hit and miss sometimes and the free Wifi wasn't great for streaming.

Nice room, comfortable bed and good lighting for reading by. The veranda with a sofa was very nice. Good breakfast. It is fairly central but quiet.

The only negative was that this is a satelite of the Praety Homestay. It was 5 minutes walk away and I would not call it a homestay as there were no owners on the site. (People came to do the breakfast and cleaning.) There was a menu for breakfast but no information about where it was served and how you ordered it. It would help to have this information near the entrance. Also, other reviews talked about help with organising trips - there was no-one to ask in this accommodation.

Comfy bed. Warm water for shower. Relatively quiet.

I was in Praety 2, a few mins up the road and had two huge suitcases which had to be dragged along cobbled streets to get there. Would have been so nice to have known the address before I arrived. The bath tub in the bathroom is wobbly, so when standing for a shower it can tip. It's away from the road but there's building work happening right behind the room and if you have noisy neighbour upstairs you hear everything. That being said, it's hard to escape building and noise anywhere in Bali sadly, and this was incredible value for money in comparison to a place I stayed at before.
