The property is beautiful. The insides, the furniture looks new and stylish. The breakfast made to order is delicious and beautifully presented. I loved that it's very quiet, no street noise while also walking distance to many restaurants and attractions.

The room in Praety 2 was comfortable, with good aircon and the breakfast was really nice every day with lots of mains choices and fresh fruit/juices. The balcony is also really nice to have breakfast on or work from when it's raining. The room is in an excellent location in the centre of Ubud, so you can reach many destinations by foot, to either get some food or drink at local restaurants, visit the local attractions (like the Palace, Market or Monkey Forest) or to make your way to the Yoga Barn that's only a 12 mins walk. I would definitely stay here again. The owners are also super friendly and even let me amend my booking when I had to depart a couple of days earlier than expected.

The shower temperature can be a bit hit and miss sometimes and the free Wifi wasn't great for streaming.

Nice room, comfortable bed and good lighting for reading by. The veranda with a sofa was very nice. Good breakfast. It is fairly central but quiet.

The only negative was that this is a satelite of the Praety Homestay. It was 5 minutes walk away and I would not call it a homestay as there were no owners on the site. (People came to do the breakfast and cleaning.) There was a menu for breakfast but no information about where it was served and how you ordered it. It would help to have this information near the entrance. Also, other reviews talked about help with organising trips - there was no-one to ask in this accommodation.

I stayed at Praety2, the second location of the Praety Home Stay. It's very close to the central area of Ubud, down a narrow alley. The staff was kind and helped take my luggage to the guest house and my room. I really loved the room, it was big and wonderfully bright and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy, the aircon worked well and there was a mosquito net. The breakfast was also tasty and the Balinese coffee nice and strong. Cleaning was available every day, but since I stayed over a month, I only had my room cleaned twice a week. It was easy to walk to Yoga Barn from the guest house and the shopping area and there were many restaurants nearby. The staff was always accommodating and kind.

There is a bathtub in the bathroom which is great, but the stylish rounded shape makes it hard to stand up in if you want to shower. And if you want to take a bath, the drain stopper doesn't really work (the water still drains). I improvised by using some sponge as a stopper. There is also an issue with the hot water, the water was either cold or too hot, which made it hard to shower, but you can manage to take a bath if you alternate adding in hot and cold water. I told the staff about it, but they weren't really able to fix the problem.

There were a few breakfast options and food was delivered to your room, so you could eat privately on your little balcony area. The owner was very kind and accomodating. I was disappointed with no hot water a few days and just didn't have time to let them know, not realizing I could have told the guy who made breakfast. So it was challenging to wash my hair and take a shower with cold water when it was raining outside and not so hot, but when I did mention it to the owner he fixed it. Although I still didn't have full hot water a few of the days, so I just bared it since I wasn't going to be there much longer. The location is pretty central to restaurants, money changers, site-seeing, etc. It was a little noisy at times in the evening as there was music coming from some neighboring streets which is no fault of the owners of the Homestay, but for the most part was pretty quiet. I enjoyed the feeling of safety and having enough space to myself with a sitting area on the shared balcony outside. The place seemed to be occupied mainly by solo travelers.

I didn't like not having hot water most of my stay! I also wished there were a few more breakfast options since I'm gluten free, but otherwise it was great and I loved that it was included since I had training most of the days that I stayed and didn't have time to go get breakfast.

Comfy bed. Warm water for shower. Relatively quiet.

I was in Praety 2, a few mins up the road and had two huge suitcases which had to be dragged along cobbled streets to get there. Would have been so nice to have known the address before I arrived. The bath tub in the bathroom is wobbly, so when standing for a shower it can tip. It's away from the road but there's building work happening right behind the room and if you have noisy neighbour upstairs you hear everything. That being said, it's hard to escape building and noise anywhere in Bali sadly, and this was incredible value for money in comparison to a place I stayed at before.

I stayed in Praety2, 2 mins away from the family home. A guesthouse more than a homestay, it was perfectly situated in central Ubud so everything was walkable yet this property was SO PEACEFULLY QUIET. My bedroom looked out onto a jungle view and all I heard were the sounds of nature. My room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The water pressure was good and I had a hot shower each morning. The shared space is beautiful and well-tended. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as good value in this price band.

When I arrived, my sheets were not clean. However, I asked for them to be changed and this was done immediately, so do ask if something is not right. It’s time for new curtains and mosquito net. Mine were unclean. The bath in the bathroom was a silly use of space and hard to shower in.
